Common area is small and uncomfortable. Bathrooms are too humid. AC wasn’t cold enough in the female room but AC in the mixed room was cold. They turn off the AC from 11 am to 2 pm.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Helpful staff. Clean. Location near trains and bus stop. Firm mattress that does not sag. Free breakfast tea and coffee. Dorm rates for Singapore is very good. Can’t find anything cheaper and cleaner at this rate. It’s not a party hostel. Everyone is respectful.
Nothing really. No lifts but staff is able to help with bags if needed.

The common area is small and it’s not comfortable to hangout. They turn off the AC from 11 am to 2 pm so it’s so humid in the room. So you can’t stay in the room and the common area is too small and uncomfortable to hangout. Plus AC was not cold enough even when it’s on at night

Matelas peu confortable et il pourrait y avoir plus de douches. Le petit déjeuner est très simple : pain de mie, beurre confiture, céréales et boisson chaude. Il serait agréable d’avoir une pièce de vie commune car les chambres sont très petites/optimisées.

Hard to find. And have to leave your shoes in doorway if shoe storage is full, which i don’t mind its asia, but after the first night, my shoes was soaking wet, not sure how it happened but if you are expected to leave your personal belongings somewhere, they should be kept safe from damage and theft.

Der Schlafbereich hat nach Schimmel gerochen (aus der Klimaanlage), bei den Schließfächern waren zum Teil die Scharniere herausgerissen und das Frühstück war auf geringstem Niveau, sodass ich trotz gebuchtem Frühstück häufig in nahegelegenen Restaurants gegessen habe.

Wo sollen wir anfangen…Leider absolut enttäuschender Aufenthalt – nicht zu empfehlen Wir haben diese Unterkunft für 3 Nächte vom 27.–30. August gebucht und waren leider mit zahlreichen gravierenden Problemen konfrontiert. Im gesamten Gebäude fanden von morgens bis abends Bauarbeiten statt. Es wurde durchgehend gebohrt, gehämmert und gearbeitet. Weder vor der Anreise noch beim Check-in wurden wir darüber informiert. Hätten wir von den Bauarbeiten gewusst, hätten wir diese Unterkunft niemals gebucht. Hinzu kam, dass wir uns ein Zimmer mit anderen Gästen teilen mussten, was für uns grundsätzlich vollkommen in Ordnung war. Die Zimmer haben keine Fenster. Allerdings war eine Person im Zimmer offensichtlich krank und hatte Fieber, starken Husten und Schnupfen. Wir haben das Personal sofort darauf hingewiesen und darum gebeten, in ein anderes Zimmer verlegt zu werden. Meine Frau hat keine Milz und ist daher besonders gefährdet, weshalb wir die Situation ausdrücklich erklärt haben. Leider wurden unsere Bedenken überhaupt nicht ernst genommen. Nachdem wir uns beschwert hatten, wurde lediglich Raumspray in das Zimmer gesprüht, anstatt eine wirkliche Lösung anzubieten. Uns wurde versprochen, dass die kranke Person am nächsten Tag auschecken würde – was nicht passiert ist. Unser Wunsch nach einem anderen Zimmer wurde weiterhin ignoriert, teilweise wurden wir sogar belächelt. Meine Frau ist während unseres Aufenthalts anschließend krank geworden. Wir sind überzeugt, dass dies mit der direkten und andauernden Exposition gegenüber der erkrankten Person sowie den unhygienischen Bedingungen, insbesondere der stark verschimmelten Klimaanlage, zusammenhängt. Auch darüber hinaus waren die hygienischen Zustände nicht akzeptabel: Die uns zur Verfügung gestellten Handtücher waren dreckig und teilweise mit Blut befleckt, die Sanitäranlagen waren unsauber und die Klimaanlage im Zimmer voller Schimmel!!! Ich habe noch nie soviel Schimmel in einer Klima Anlage gesehen.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026It’s kept clean. Not too big and generally the people are quiet . Free breakfast , coffee and tea. Location. Near to MRT and buses and central to the city. Staff are the best. Frankly it’s one of the better hostels in town. I highly recommend Wink.

The location was fantastic, within walking distance of Chinatown and easily accessible from the airport. The pods also provided an extra level of privacy, which was especially appreciated after a long flight.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026The bed is comfortable and the position is great. The hostel is quite busy but when I stayed there everything was spotlessly clean and there were no annoying noises at night. The staff is helpful, I could leave my luggage there after checkout since my flight was late at night and they gave me an extra blanket because I found the room too cold.
It's more of a dormitory than a hostel and I did find my pod too cold (I was directly in front of the AC). It would be great if we could somehow control the AC. Still, it's a great price for Singapore and in a very good position, if you just need somewhere to sleep I would still suggest it.

El personal muy atento y majo, nos atendieron muy amablemente y nos dejaron guardar las mochilas ahi y volver a por ellas despues. Te dan toalla. Los baños estan muy limpios y hay gel y champu. Ponen desayuno comunitario todos los dias con tostadas con varias opciones, cereal, leche, cafe y te que es basico pero muy bien.
Los enchufes de las camas son del estilo britanico, no el “europeo”

Shower and bathroom facilities could be improved upon. Exposed pipes and no space to safely place toiletries down without getting wet. The no shoes policy indoors was to be honest gross when you were entering the toilets and stepping on wet ground. Kitchen and meals room was a bit awkward to navigate and felt disconnected

there was no space outside the rooms to even sit and wait for a second. The bed wasn't comfy and it wasn't the cleanest. In general seems to not be cleaned too often. Same for lavatories and showers. The AC wasn't working well so it was a nightmare to sleep in the dorm with 6 more people.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Das Hostel hat meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Es ist in Anbetracht der Anzahl an Gästen recht sauber und die Toiletten/ Duschen werden über den Tag hinweg öfter gereinigt, sodass diese meistens auch sauber blieben. Die Zimmer waren angenehm klimatisiert. Die Lage ist ziemlich gut, man kommt überall entspannt zu Fuß, Bahn oder Fahrrad hin.
Man darf auch nicht zu viel erwarten. Es ist am Ende ein Hostel. Die Gäste wechseln ständig und sind nur auf der Durchreise. Ich hätte mich gefreut, wenn man nach zwei Tagen nochmal ein neues Handtuch bekommen würde (ich habe aber auch vergessen nachzufragen).
