We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and had all the necessary equipment. It was a beautiful and peaceful place, with a very relaxing atmosphere.

Endroit idyllique et hôte au petit soin

We loved our stay in Hugo's Vacation House- option we chose. Hugo and his wife are incredibly warm hosts, helpful in every way, and on property 24/7. They make their own jams, supply in room breakfast with local honey, chocolate powder, bread (large fresh liaf,daily), cheeses and basic deli meats. The environment is farm-like, peaceful yet close to many sites, including wineries. We'd return in a minute!

Casa linda, e confortável eu e a minha família fomos muito bem recebidos e amamos estar na encosta do sobreiro, café da manhã fresco e o bolo da Celi que toda família amou obrigado por toda recepção e gentileza, com certeza voltaremos ❤️❤️❤️❤️ um especial agradecimento ao Hugo a Celi e a DNA Luísa🙏🏾,

Gostámos de tudo. O alojamento fica numa zona extremamente sossegada. Apenas um pequeno trecho de terra batida até chegar ao alojamento. Fomos recebidos prontamente pelo anfitrião que nos explicou tudo e entregou a casa. Casa completa e equipada. Excelente limpeza. Piscina comum sempre vazia, o que foi ótimo para o sossego. Um enorme bónus o excelente parque infantil, com muita coisa para as crianças (e não só!) brincarem. De notar apenas que a CASA DO POSTIGO tem por cima uma outra casa. Se se der o caso dessa casa ser alugada pode ouvir-se um pouco de barulho dos vizinhos de cima. Para nós não foi um problema.

Gostámos de tudo e queremos muito voltar! Deixo apenas um apontamento, gostaríamos de ver caixotes para a separação dos lixos!

Bom pequeno almoço, excelente localização e enquadramento geral. O jardim é amplo e muito relaxante, com uma zona de jogos e riacho.

The views were excellent, it was very peaceful, the pool was heated, we had everything we needed.

בית מאוד יפה!! רמת גימור מאוד מאוד גבוהה!! חשבו על כל הפרטים הקטנים והיה מאוד מפנק כולל ישיבה בחוץ ליד קמין חיצוני. האזור צריך מרוחק מאטרקציות המרכזיות של סרה דה אסטרה.

Superou as expectativas! Casa super acolhedora,your bem cheirosa, limpa, muito bem cuidada e equipada. Terreno com zonas verdes bastante bonitas, zonas exterior para jogos (futebol, boleibol, ping pong) e piscina incrível com vistas muito bonitas. Recomendamos muito para quem quiser fazer uma escapadinha e descansar a 100%. Também adorámos o facto de termos especiarias e sal para cozinhar.

Na nossa opinião falta ar condicionado dentro de casa e o pequeno almoço podia ser mais bem composto na parte dos doces (adicionar nutella, croissants,…) porque sabe sempre bem comer doces nas férias.

De tudo. Desde a casa e as suas comodidades, até à forma como fomos recebidos. As casa era fantástica, as piscinas também, notou-se o asseio e limpeza, e os espaços exteriores completaram a nossa maravilhosa experiência.

De tudo ,do espaço bem cuidado,da casa com todas as comodidades e super bem decorada e confortável,do parque para as crianças com várias diversões e que as minhas crianças adoraram,foi certamente um plus, da nossa piscina privada ,maravilhosamente colocada com uma vista de cortar a respiração,da piscina de água salgada,do pequeno almoço com produtos caseiros e super saborosos e da Luísa que nos recebeu de braços abertos ,sempre com um sorriso e sempre com um miminho,(obrigada pelo bolo de banana que a minha filhota adorou).Muito obrigada,esperamos voltar

Everything was perfect! We were very well received, with a friendly smile, by the host (Luísa). We had homemade products for breakfast (delicious!). The outside area with the swimming pool, trampolim, and other things for kids (and adults 😀) was very well taken care of. The house was spotless clean with the necessary facilities. The location was just what we were looking for: peaceful and close by to Serra da Estrela and historic villages.

A estadia superou todas as expectativas. A habitação possui decoração impecável, estrutura planejada nos mínimos detalhes para uma experiência singular e bem aconchegante (lareira, jogos, TV, camas confortáveis, churrasqueira, piscina). O espaço à volta é de uma calmaria extremamente relaxante, muito verde, riacho, flores e campos, além de uma piscina fantástica. Seja a dois ou em família, a diversão e o descanso estão muito mais que garantidos. A recepção do Sr. Hugo é fantástica, explica detalhe por detalhe, e sempre se coloca à disposição para o que for preciso. E para fechar com chave de ouro... o café da manhã é qualquer coisa de apetitoso, com produtos regionais de muita qualidade e saborosíssimos, desde pães, geleias, cereais, frutas e muito mais. Super indico, e com certeza retornaremos.

From beginning to end we felt at home in a beautifully designed and comfortable home away from home set in the countryside.

Very well kept place, specially the integration with the surroundings, respecting the landscape and environment. The house that we chose was very cozy, comfortable with all the amenities that a family needs for a stay. The weather was not great so we could not experience the pools which looks amazing by the way. Our daughter loved the playground that was available on the property, many games, trampolin, etc.

Everything was excellent: the house is fully equiped with what you need. Very friendly host, doing everything to make your stay as good as possible!!

Spotless, clean and well equipped with everything needed. The barbecue was a good surprise which allowed us to some nice meals cooked at home. Very calm and beautiful location. Nice communal pool and plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors playing with the family. Perfect for kids with small kids. It's located near several historical villages and there is plenty to explore.

Breakfast was decent and simple but a bit more limited options than what we expected. The location is gorgeous but not necessarily close to a bigger city that can offer more options for things to do, restaurants, etc. The private pool was definitely smaller than expected, and it would help if it was heated.

The host, location, and property were great! Wonderful pool and barbeque. We had everything we needed for the family in the house.

Encosta do Sobreiro is easily and by far one of the best places I've ever stayed, if not the very best. The first sign of an exceptional stay came on the day before our arrival. Ms. Luisa called me to ask if we had any special request that she could help with. On the day of our stay, due to unplanned issues we arrived later than we have planned. Though I recognize this is inconvenient and should be avoided by the guests, Ms Luisa and Mr. Hugo did not complain even once. Quite the opposite. Mr. Hugo received us with a big smile! The attention to details continued: he used a disposable protector for his shoes before entering the house where we were staying. The house is fantastic. There are TVs in both rooms and a big TV in the living room. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and the towels were soft and smelled really good. And, by the way, the marble floor gave it a refined look. Water pressure was fantastic even for the hot temperature. In the Kitchen you have everything you possibly need for a short and comfortable stay: pans, italian moka coffee maker, nespresso machine, microwave, oven and stove. The beds were comfortable and cozy. In the outside there are tables and chairs where I could sit for a while to sip my coffee and simply relax. The house has a fireplace but also central heater. The breakfast was great with cheese, ham, jams, milk, cereal, honey and fresh bread being delivered in the morning. I will certainly return for a longer stay to enjoy the region, unwind and relax. Ms Luisa and Mr Hugo, my family and I thank you very much for a delightful stay!

Lovely house, clean, private and has everything you need (especially the kitchen). The kids enjoyed the playground and the outside area. Hugo was super communicative, helpful and a lovely host!

The property is in the unique setting close to the mountains. The views from the property grounds are absolutely stunning and grounds itself are very welcoming and relaxing. We stayed for one night and wished we stayed there longer. Very helpful and friendly staff, always available. Breakfast was very nice and delicious. Would definitely come back! thank you so much!

We have spent a fantastic holiday in Encosta do Sobreiro. Hugo and his family have shown great hospitality during our stay and were always open for help or give advice for short trips in the surroundings of the accommodation. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped and the facilities are ideal to stay with kids (pool, playground, child beds and chairs, bikes etc.). We definitely hope to come back here one day!
