Reviewed Mar 4, 2024Wir sind als Gruppe gereist und waren sehr begeistert von der Unterkunft. Es gibt einen großen Frühstücksraum und sogar die Möglichkeit dort Abend zu essen. Außerdem gibt es eine hauseigene Bar und einen weiteren "Gruppenraum". Alles war sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Preis-Leistung mega!
Die Matratzen waren etwas unbequem :)

Im Nebenzimmer (Nr. 311) war es leider nachts (in der ersten Nacht um 02:20 Uhr und in der zweiten Nacht um 23:30 Uhr) extrem laut. Die Leute haben geschrien, gegen die Wand geschlagen, und sind herumgesprungen. Es wurde auch lautstark gesungen und geklatscht. Wir konnten dadurch pro Nacht jeweils ca. 1,5-2,5h nicht schlafen. Die Rezeption war nicht besetzt, telefonisch war auch niemand zu erreichen. Ein Hinweis an die Leute, sie mögen bitte ruhiger sein war ebenfalls nicht wirklich zielführend.

Reviewed Feb 14, 2023Staff were honestly fantastic - they tried so so hard to accomodate the guests. There was an igloo party one night at the resort (nothing to do with the hostel) and the girl on reception arranged a coach off her own back so the guests could go (as it was hard to get home from) - genuinely fantastic effort. If the bar was just a little quiet the staff often went and had a beer with the guests etc so they felt accommodated. Breakfast was fantastic - really good buffet with hot and cold options - staff were attentive and kept it topped up, food was really well cooked. Location was pretty good - its around a 5 minute drive from the ski resort, and they put shuttles/coaches on morning and night. Bear in mind the prices you pay for accom right at the slopes I really cant complain at all its a great concept. The only thing I could mybe mention location wise is there's not much in the nearby (20 mins walk) town of Hopfgarten - places to eat, and apres ski bars in the town and coming off the slopes, but not really anywhere to drink after about 8pm, (except the hostel itself) unless you get a taxi to the next town Westendorf, which isn't walking distance and was around 30 EUR taxi. The whole place was absolutely spotless - the staff/managers certainly appeared to take a real pride in the place - and why not its lovely. Overall thanks very much guys, had a fantastic time, you were brilliant.
