Reviewed Jul 6, 2025The location is excellent, in a very quiet cul de sac and the breakfast was fantastic.
The house is very comfortable and bright with lovely bedrooms. We slept very well except for the room with the single bed where the inmersion heater was on all night and made a noise, there's a sign that says do not switch it off. Kitchen paper, washing detergent and sponge would have been handy for washing the dishes, quite a lot of wear and tear in the kitchen and on the hobs. Overall though a lovely stay

Reviewed May 8, 2025The house was very cozy, well equipped, located in a quiet street and within walking distance to the town centre. You have a lot of privacy here.
The keys pick-up was a bit confusing, because we thought the restaurant where you pick up the keys would be closer to the accommodation.

All good. Only negative was the main tv is way too small Also my son did not sleep well with the velux window in room=very noisy due to rain. Hopefully better weather next time!

Reviewed Apr 14, 2025Location was perfect. 2 minute walk to the Helm restaurant and the harbour. It was 20 degrees everyday we were there so that was a bonus There was a picnic table in the garden with views of the harbour. Just Fab. The picture attached was taken in the evening from the garden Beds were very comfortable and clean Plenty of towels and shower gels/handsoaps. Kitchen was well laid out with all equipment you could need. The Helm breakfast was incredible Staff at The Helm were second to none. So polite, chatty and helpful. Shout out to Shane who was very knowledgable of the local area. We let him know that the sitting area needed a coffee table and maybe a full length mirror in one of the bedrooms and he was all over it. Gentleman
Hard to find fault. Any query we had was dealt with by Shane.

Reviewed Sep 20, 2024We got an excellent breakfast, a wide range of choices served by very friendly and courteous staff. The house was situated near the quay and suited our needs as we were touring in the area and gave us easy access to the destinations we were going to.
The house could have done with some fresh air before we checked in and the downstairs bathroom shower needs replacement as it failed to work.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2024A spacious, fully eqipped, almost luxuriously designed apartment greeted us upon receiving the keys at The Helm restaurant and making our way to the quiet alley. We were able to park right in front. This apartment is well suited for longer stays and we wish we had booked for more than just one night, especially with the restaurant a mere 2 minute walk away and full breakfast included! :)

Reviewed Jul 14, 2024The breakfast was served at the helm restaurant and was delicious. Staff are so friendly, and very accommodating for families with small children. The house is spacious and very quiet at night. There is a 2 minute walkway down to the quay where there are shops, restaurants and hotel. Vinny and Shane really lovely to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to coming back and staying again
