The noise. The outdoor disco that runs until 1/1:30 every night may not be the hotels responsibility but the rooms are not sufficiently sound insulated for that environment. It is unfortunately impossible to sleep without good earplugs.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Perfekte Lage am Hafen mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Die vielen Restaurants beim Hafen und die Altstadt sind zu Fuss leicht zu erreichen. Die Zimmer haben genau der Beschreibung und den Bildern entsprochen und waren sauber. Das Frühstück kann auf einer sehr schönen Terrasse genossen werden - es handelt sich um ein bedientes Buffet (keine Selbstbedienung). Der gesicherte Parkplatz ist ideal.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026L'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait pour accéder au port comme sortir facilement en voiture vers Piana. L'extérieur avec la piscine, et particulièrement la vue sur les falaises, sont très agréables.
L'intérieur fait un peu vieillot en termes de décoration dans les chambres mais ça reste propre et confortable.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Alles!!! Vriendelijkheid van de mensen daar, fantastische locatie. Aan de haven, citadel op korte loopafstand. Konden de motoren achter het hotel parkeren, bij de 24-uurs receptie. Ze praten Engels, Frans en Italiaans. Dames van de receptie hadden goede humor! En last but not least: trust the barkeeper! Italicus Spritz cocktail met Bergamot, aan het zwembad. Beter wordt het niet! Wij hadden de kleinste kamer, die was nog als enige beschikbaar, voldeed aan alle verwachtingen. Mooie grote douche, zag er allemaal nieuw uit. Geen gebruik gemaakt van ontbijt, dus kan daar niets over zeggen.

The shower was really a bathtub with a hand held wand that won't raise up so awkward to shower. Oliva at the front desk was very curt and frustrated me that she wouldn't help us to charge our electric car since non electric cars were parked in the spot that were also hotel guests. Felt very unwelcome as a non French/Corsicana visitor by the staff. Nice property but wouldn't stay here again.

In de haven is een soort lounge club met harde muziek tot 2-3 uur s’nachts. Onbegrijpelijk , hele omgeving heeft daar last van. Daardoor deuren dicht van je hotelkamer.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Check in was very easy with very helpful staff. We charged our electric car and the price charged was very reasonable although there is only one charger with two sockets. The pool seemed good although we didn't use it.
The only thing we didn't particularly like was the music thumping from across the port in a restaurant. We understand that the hotel has no control of this however it did keep us awake for a while.

Het ontbijt! Alles was er zoals op een echt buffet, maar je mocht niets zelf nemen en moest telkens vragen als je iets wou. Vond ik erg vervelend. De stoelen bij de 2-persoonstafels waren erg ongemakkelijk.

AC perfekt, meget fin swimmingpool på 2. Sal, med interessant kig til marinaen. Morgenmad i kønne omgivelser, idet det hele taget et meget pænt hotel.

The bar was always empty so lacked atmosphere and our room had a bit of a damp smell.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Not much. The breakfast setting is beautiful, one of the most stunning in Europe, I would say. BUT after no sleep the night before, everyone is grumpy and sour and the whole experience is ruined.
there was VERY loud club music till 1:30am every night. The music is the worst type imaginable, except for straight rap. Just awful loud bass doing your head in. Even with windows closed and air con it was impossible to sleep. It ruined our stay. I do not understand why people give this hotel good ratings and then write they had to leave and find another place to stay. How does that make sense? The breakfast is supposedly a buffet, but they do not allow self-service. You have to stand in a queue and ask for things. When you say " I would like some cucumber please" they give you 2 impossibly thin slices and raise eyebrows if you want more. Same with anything, croissants, cheese, you name it. Total disaster. They charge 18 Euro for that.

The room itself was beautifully and tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The stunning setting and beautiful views made our stay particularly enjoyable. We would happily return!
The buffet breakfast was excellent, although we would have preferred a self-service option rather than being served and having to queue. There were two reception desk staff members, and the younger of the two was particularly welcoming and professional.

Enig minpuntje was het lawaai: aan de overkant van de haven draait een DJ elke avond in juli en augustus tot 1u s nachts. Dit werd ons meteen meegedeeld tijdens de check in waardoor je wist dat de hinder er maar was tot 1u dus op zich wel ok.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026La location dell'albergo è ottima: c'è un paesaggio splendido, nel centro della Marina, ma non nella parte caotica. Il parcheggio è molto comodo e facile, e questo è un must a Bonifacio. La piscina è bella e con una veduta spettacolare. Il personale è molto gentile Pulzia impeccabile.
Il wi-fi non sempre funziona benissimo. La colazione a buffet non è self-service, e questo a mio avviso la rende meno divertente. Dall'altro lato della Marina c'è una discoteca chiamata B52 che ha la musica altissima fino alle 2 di notte, il che non è ovviamente colpa dell'albergo: è però necessario tenere le finestre chiuse per poter dormire.

Nous avons adoré cet hôtel.

Wie es auch vorher beschrieben wurde, liegt dieses Hotel am Hafen, DH auch, das es belebter ist, was aber nicht wirklich stört. Das einzige was etwas eigenartig ist, war die Frühstückssituation, wie andere schon beschrieben haben, dies könnte man anders organisieren dann wäre es einfacher.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Une nuit seulement avec nos enfants mais l’hôtel a rendu notre séjour à Bonifacio magique. Hôtel à l’emplacement exceptionnel, avec vue sur le port, une magnifique piscine pour se rafraîchir et buller après nos visites. De belles prestations. Lits très confortables, personnels adorables avec le sens de l’accueil, arrangeants et aux petits soins ( qui nous ont donné de bons conseils, prêté dès parasols, donner des boules Quies…). Un grand parking gratuit très pratique. Certes quelques nuisances sonores le soir avec le club du port ( pour la venue du DJ Bob Sinclar tout de même) mais c’est l’ambiance de Bonifacio en août et les chambres restent bien isolées. Une belle adresse pour s’imprégner des beautés de Bonifacio!
Prix excessif et prohibitifs des petits déjeuners. Avons passé notre tour.

Un pub est situé juste en face de l hôtel. Musique tous les soirs jusqu'à 1h du matin. Pour l ambiance c' est super. Pour le calme c' est raté .

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026L'hôtel solemare est en réalité de qualité 4* et non trois. L'emplacement est la vue des balcons sur le port de Bonifacio est tout simplement exceptionnelle. La piscine donnant sur le bastion de la ville et la calme qui y règne sont très agréables. Enfin la chambre était très joliment décorée et les lots très confortables. La chambre (1 lit double et 1 lit simple)est non seulement spacieuse mais très fonctionnelle. Un vrai plus dans notre voyage en corse .

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Absolument tout ! Le personnel est d'une grande gentillesse et très attentionné. Les chambres sont impeccablement propres et très confortables. Le service est irréprochable : même si la chambre n'est pas encore prête à l'arrivée, on peut profiter de la piscine ou de la plage, avec des serviettes mises à disposition. L'emplacement est parfait pour découvrir Bonifacio. Un séjour vraiment exceptionnel, je recommande cet établissement les yeux fermés !
Rien car même l'organisation du buffet petit déjeuner est unique comme présentation, hygiène et un service très agréable du personnel, sans faute .

Emplacement en face d’une discothèque extérieure donc de la musique et bruit tous les jours jusqu’au moins 1h30 min même fenêtres de la chambre fermées Buffet déjeuner jusque 10h45…. Un peu juste pour être à l’aise après une nuit courte ! Et les vacances sont programmées pour se reposer ….du rythme imposé par la montre professionnelle

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026We loved the careful attention to the aesthetics of the rooms - all presented differently but in an interesting way (we booked two rooms for our family). Very large and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Lovely views of the old town abs harbour. Fabulous breakfast.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Der Blick auf die Zitadelle, das Interieur der Zimmer.....eigentlich alles. Sehr leckeres und umfangreiches Frühstück.
Der Blick auf den Hafen und die Zitadelle ist unschlagbar---- Allerdings befindet sich gegenüber IMMER NOCH DER CLUB B52--- der wohl die Erlaubnis von ganz oben hat TÄGLICH!!! bis 1/2 Uhr nachts Party zu machen --kann man gerne --innerhalb ---aber B52 ist der Meinung dass man ganz Bonifacio daranteil nehmen lassen muss--auch viel arbeitende Menschen die mal Urlaub machen und sich ein Luxus Hotel gegönnt haben--unsagbar laut, er beschallt ganz Bonifacio. Schlafen ist immer erst nach Krach Beendigung möglich. Und es Ist nicht mal guter Techno. Kann ich gut beurteilen:) Zudem tanzt auch niemand draußen. Wäre nicht mal in Berlin möglich. Auch die Fensterisolierung hält den Krach nicht fern vom Gehörgang----daher leider: keine erneute Buchung im Solemare. Sorry!

Required to leave room key in reception. Sunbeds screwed to the deck, stopped being moved into the shade. Poor bar service, no pool bar. Buffet breakfast was delivered from behind a Covid shield by staff which was awkward and not a buffet! Club across the port (B52) played music until 0100 - 0200 AM, music load enough to shake items in our room. Reception didn’t seem concerned, if there is nothing they can do it should be a caution when you book.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026O hotel é excelente e merecia ser um 5 estrelas para o padrão europeu! Um hotel boutique, cheio de arte, estilo e conforto! Camas e travesseiros excelentes, macios, com lençóis de qualidade superior, que dão conforto ao hóspede. Atendimento excelente, estacionamento no local e gratuito e a localização é excelente, na marina do porto, onde ficam os melhores restaurantes e pertinho do centro histórico.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026This is a beautiful property and in a nice location overall. However, it is across the marina from a nightclub and as a result was horrendously loud until about 1am. Hotel staff were also somewhat mixed--some of them, including the restaurant staff--were warm but some of the front desk folks were markedly less so.

En juillet et aout, les concerts nocturnes sur le port obligent a fermer les fenetres. Notre balcon de chambre etait vraiment petit.
