Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Das Restaurant war top: à la carte, aber auch am Buffet. Auch das Frühstück war sensationell, vielfältig und auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Das Bereich im Erdgeschoss (Empfang, Restaurant etc.) ist renoviert und sieht sehr stylisch aus.
Mein Einzelzimmer war auf dem alten Stand VOR der Renovierung. Das konnte ich auf den booking-Fotos zwar sehen, womit ich aber nicht gerechnet habe: WIE SEHR renovierungsbedürftig mein Zimmer war. Die Lampe war mit Tesafilm geflickt, aus einer Wand sind ein paar Ecken rausgebrochen, die Heizung, der Sessel und die Steckdosen waren schmutzig, ein Regalboden war rausgebrochen, die Duscharmatur war locker, das dreckige 90er-Jahre-Telefon mit drumherum gewickeltem Kabel war ein Lacher. (Kann man alles auf den Fotos sehen, die ich hier hochgeladen habe.) Ein 4-Sterne-Hotel dürfte so ein Zimmer eigentlich nicht mehr vermieten. Ich bin trotzdem drin geblieben, weil ich von einer langen Fernwanderung kam, fix und fertig war und einfach nur meine Ruhe haben wollte. Keine Lust auf Diskussionen.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Am Pool zu liegen nach einer langen, heißen Etappe auf dem E5 war phenomenal und brachte Leben zurück in die müden Glieder. Das Frühstück war opulent, das Abendessen im Restaurant war toll. Bushaltestelle zur Bergbahn direkt nebenan.
Klimaanlage hätte mir nachts im heißen Sommer 2026 durchaus gefallen

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr warm weil unter dem Dach. Den Wellnessbereich habe ich nicht besucht deshalb keine Bewertung dazu.
Das Zimmer war abgewohnt. Badewanne die als Dusche genutzt werden konnte war undicht und deshalb die Türzargen unten vermodert. In der separaten Toilette gab es kein Waschbecken.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026We needed to make an unexpected overnight stop in Zams before hiking to a hut. This was a last minute booking (like hours) before we showed up traveling to Zams by train. I'm really glad we chose this hotel. First of all, the hotel is about a 10 minute walking distance from the train station. So, we just did that, although I believe the hotel will arrange a taxi if needed. Next, the hotel itself is well kept, clean, with nice rooms overlooking the nearby mountains. Also, the food quality and service exceeded our expectations. In particular, the breakfast was outstanding with lots of options including breads, meats, fruit, yogurt, etc. In particular, I was impressed that the front desk staff were ready for our arrival on such a short notice. They were also friendly and helpful.
This is nothing the hotel can control so just take it as information sharing. This part of Zams is slightly commercial with a few stores and businesses abutting the hotel property. So don't expect an idyllic Austrian experience with farm animals grazing in the meadow next to the hotel. However, the hotel itself and staff more than compensate for this.

De gids van dienst is denk ik echt een meerwaarde voor de zaak, een people manager, Benni dank je voor de toffe wandeling. Rest van personeel zeer vriendelijk, je kan ze altijd aanspreken. Hier komen we terug maar langer. Zeer nette kamers.

Der Saunabereich ist leider direkt neben den Badebereich, dementsprechend ist es sehr laut. Auch ständig Durchgangsverkehr vom Bade zum Außenbereich stört beim entspannen.

Reviewed Mar 20, 2026Best breakfast I have ever had in Europe. So much selection and clean. Nice people from the front desk to the wait staff. The Spa was amazing. After skiing or hiking all day it was so relaxing. They had this Spa kit with towels, foot ware, robes. Great dinners too. The rooms were very clean. Some had nicest view on the mountains. east walk for the train and bus stations.
The wifi internet did not always connect and USB ports to recharge devices in the room would be nice. I went with Booking.com as they did not take credit card reservations directly.

The hotel’s location was perfect, close to local ski resorts. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast offered each morning, with a variety of options to suit everyone's taste. Overall, this hotel provided a wonderful experience and made our family trip memorable.
There is no refrigerator or water kettle in our room. It would be great if they could provide them as well.
