Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Hotellet ligger midt i byen, 150 m fra centrum. Parkering i kælder 20 m derfra. Personalet er hjælpsomme og imødekommende. Restauranten er virkelig god. Der er ikke morgen buffet, maden bliver bragt til bordene.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026This new hotel could not be better located, right in the center of the Old town with easy parking within the same building complex. Welcome desk employees were nice and accomodating. Our bedroom was on a quiet courtyard, and had a definitely modern/minimalist touch, yet very cozy with light dimmers, wood and a large bathroom, little kitchen and dining table for 4, which we highly appreciated. Large topfloor swimming pool but very hot on this extremely hot day. We did not try the restaurant nor had the breakfast. Highly recommended !
The deliberate choice to have a large frosted glass between bathroom and bed area might not be appreciated by privacy lovers, but on our side we liked everything about this hotel

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Die hervorragende zentrale Position in der Nürnberger Altstadt, mit einem abgeschlossenen öffentlichen Parkhaus. Die integrierte Passage mit Restaurants ist sehr schön, gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein!
Die Zimmer empfinden wir als etwas kühl eingerichtet- der Sichtbeton ist das Eine, ein bisschen mehr Deko-Wärme das andere.

Situation géographique parfaite pour visiter la ville en étant à proximité des points d'intérêts de la villa, un quartier nouvellement rénové qui est très paisible mais en même temps très vivant. Le SPA est aussi incroyable, ambiance sereine et qui fait du bien après une longue journée de marche
Le fait que le PDJ ne soit pas un buffet, nous comprenons le partie pris de vouloir proposer un PDJ "français" mais étant nous même de cette nationalité cela ne coïncide pas tout à fait et nous aurions préféré avoir le choix des plats et de la quantité au vu du prix du PDJ, mais toutefois l'expérience était agréable.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026The hotel is located right in the center within walking distance of most of the iconic sights. There is a parking garage under the hotel and the hotel has a discounted rate for the garage. Furthermore it houses a gym, spa and 10x4 m indoor pool, which was very nice. The rooms are very nice and with a large bathroom, on the tv you could cast your own streaming services.
The pillows are not very supportive as you sink your head in, mattress was ok for 2 nights, but my guess is they did not invest much in those. Although I like softer mattresses, these you kind of ended up bending your body, my preference would be box spring or memory foam. Still better than in many other hotels.

We vonden de prijs kwaliteitverhouding van het restaurant niet kloppen.

La chambre était spacieuse et d'une propreté impeccable, le personnel à l'accueil était agréable. Le bonus, pour nous, était la piscine au design incroyablement bien pensé, dans un espace calme qui invite à la relaxation.

Nothing was too much trouble - they fully explained all facilities and options, provided me with a couple of free vouchers for a coffee shop / ice cream cafe next door. The city centre is quite compact and Karl August is slap bang in the middle of it! Discounted parking was a great option to leave the car in a safe, tidy and well lit up environment and explore the city on foot. I also used the pool and found it fantastic - very clean and well maintained. Karl August was a great find and I will gladly stay there again.
Annoying not to have a socket by the bedside... And that is my only complaint...

Le lit de la chambre 312 doit être changé. En effet il était tellement affaisé que j ai du dormir sur le canapé du salon.Dommage car pour le reste la chambre était bien. Le restaurant de l hôtel est trop cher pour la qualité proposée.

Ein zweiter Stuhl oder Hocker wäre schön gewesen, evtl. mehr Licht beim Schrank. Der Spiegel im Bad sollte so montiert sein, dass im Hintergrund eine helle Fläche ist.

La mancanza in bagno dei kit quali spazzolino, cuffia per la doccia etc. la mancanza belle camere normali del frigo e del bollitore. Noi avevamo due stanze e solo nell’appartamento c’è il frigo bar.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Das Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage direkt im Stadtzentrum. Besonders gut gefallen haben mir das ausgezeichnete Frühstück und die bequeme Parkmöglichkeit.
Der einzige Punkt, der mich enttäuscht hat, war der fehlende Vergrößerungsspiegel im Badezimmer. Da ich schlecht sehe, ist ein solcher Spiegel für mich beim Schminken sehr wichtig. Es wäre schön, wenn das Hotel diesen kleinen Komfort künftig anbieten würde. Ansonsten war alles wunderbar. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt!

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026The suite was spacious and very clean. The rooms were big, and double beds made it very comfortable travelling with kids. The parking garage was in very close proximity and easy to find. Air conditioning in the suite helped us cope with the heat.

Our experience this year was mixed, and unfortunately, it was the worst of the four consecutive years we have stayed at this hotel. We arrived quite late, around 11:00 PM, carrying several pieces of luggage for a five-day stay. To our surprise, absolutely no one offered to help us with our bags. We had to carry everything ourselves, while only one staff member—who mentioned it was actually her first day—helped us with a single shopping bag. That was the extent of the assistance. We had booked an apartment for four nights, costing RON 6,300 (approximately EUR 1,250), only to discover that the view overlooked the hotel's garbage bins. For a room in this category and at this price point, this was extremely disappointing. We asked to be moved to another room, but were told that the hotel was fully booked and no alternatives were available. Housekeeping was also below expectations. Bed linens were not changed after two nights, and we later found out that we had to explicitly request this. We would have expected such a service to be standard, or at the very least clearly communicated upon check-in. The checkout experience was equally disappointing. We attended the same forum as several colleagues who stayed at different hotels, and all of them were able to arrange a late checkout until 4:00 or 5:00 PM for an additional fee. At this hotel, we were refused a late checkout altogether—even if we were willing to pay—again because the hotel was allegedly fully booked. Overall, the service has noticeably declined compared to our previous visits. This hotel used to be one of our preferred choices, but based on this experience, we are seriously reconsidering returning. Sadly, this may have been our last stay here. Service: 5/10.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Hervorragende Architektur und Inneneinrichtung. Sehr durchdachtes Konzept für das komplette Quartier, das anscheinend einem Besitzer gehört. Da zu zählen zwei Restaurants, Bäckerei, Eisdiele + Parkaus. Alles bestens gelegen.
Die Weinkarte im Restaurant ist etwas beschränkt und passt nicht wirklich zum Essen. Außerdem scheint der Service etwas überfordert dort, wenn es wirklich voll ist. Alle sind aber sehr freundlich - lediglich etwas unkoordiniert.

le petit déjeuner est relativement banal et tente de sortir du lot par une présentation via un plateau à plusieurs niveau . Pour un petit déjeuner à 26 euros on s'attend à bien mieux. lorsque j'avais lu les avis , les personnes disaient que le petit déjeuner était extraordinaire.. Je pense qu'ils avaient peu d'expérience dans des hotels à niveau équivalent.

The breakfast was delicious and far superior to what I had anticipated, and although my room was small, it was absolutely PERFECT and precisely what I needed. Furthermore, it was super clean, tidy. The best thing about this hotel, however, was the front desk staff. They were all amazingly helpful--they were friendly, informative, and super kind and knew everything! They were particularly helpful in arranging a taxi for me when there happened to be a major marathon going on and streets were blocked off and typical street travel was challenging. THANK YOU!
Nothing! EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Wish I could have stayed here and in Nuremberg longer.

Очень странный дизайн номера: бетонные стены, приглушенный свет. Очень неуютно. В номере нет холодильника, чайника, кофе-машины. Халаты есть, но тапочек не дают, поэтому пришлось идти в бассейн босиком.
