Alimentação uma autêntica vergonha ! Quase sem opção nenhuma , um terror o pequeno almoço pois não tem nada temos de escolher , quando escolhemos a demora e o horror que servem ! Pedi tosta de abacate com ovo escalfado enfim não sei onde aprenderam a fazer mas muito mau e as panquecas terror mesmo , não são panquecas é uma massa farelada sem sentido ! Por amor de Deus fiquei mesmo chocada com a falta de qualidade ! Muito mau mesmo A vista que indicam da piscina nas fotos e o mar o que realmente se vê uma sebe de árvores enfim ! O melhor são os funcionários muito simpáticos e a comodidade do alojamento agora para se poder aproveitar tem de servir bem em todos os aspetos ! Não comam aqui

Começando pelo staff incrível, da receção e cozinha, que são a alma do Charm Nature, pelo calor e sorrisos com que nos receberam, passando pelo quarto de sonho (que é ainda mais especial ao vivo). Impecavelmente limpo, arrumado, com a lareira e banheira em excelentes condições de limpeza (usufruímos N vezes da salamandra - que tem todas as condições para ser usada durante a estadia completa), e o quarto 17 não poderia ser mais especial! A cama e as almofadas, extremamente confortáveis, lençóis e toalhas igualmente limpos, produtos muito bons de higiene... Tudo cuidado ao pormenor, com muito requinte e bom gosto! O pequeno-almoço foi o melhor que alguma vez comi. Tem uma carta variada, cozinha de autor, os sabores de uma naturalidade incrível e destacar uma vez mais o carinho que guardamos do staff de cozinha e receção. Foram eles que tornaram tudo ainda mais reconfortante e aprazível! O hotel é de charme, a decoração lembra muito os hotéis de montanha, em madeira e cortiça, decoração cuidada. Têm uma mesa de snooker, e a piscina é absolutamente bonita. Foi uma estadia 5*, o silêncio imperou em todos os recantos, o Charme Nature é um lugar muito especial onde vamos querer voltar!

Superou as expetativas e está no top 3 de sítios por onde já passámos em Portugal. Desde a localização (a tranquilidade e a vista mar), à limpeza de todos os espaços, os funcionários impecáveis, o pequeno almoço excecional, os espaços comuns muito bem mantidos, o quarto com lareira espetacular... tudo muito bom!

Dinner at the hotel would be a nice option but there are some good restaurants in walking distance and they even order at a restaurant if you’re too tired to walk.

Chemical diffusers in the room. The room had stunk for 3 days (until we checked out) after removing them even with both windows open 24h (in January).

Sehr schöne, gepflegte und überschaubare Hotelanlage und schön gestaltete Zimmer. Ebenso schöner Bereich für Morgenessen sowie Lounge und Pool-Bereich. Das Morgenessen wird auf Wunsch/Karte frisch zubereitet und schmeckt ausgezeichnet, allerdings dürften die rein pflanzlichen (veganen) Angebote noch etwas ausgebaut werden. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit!

Toilette war sehr eng, zum Glück bin ich nicht grösser als 1,70m. Ich war froh, das Zimmer alleine gebucht zu haben. Wie in vielen Bewertungen erwähnt: Die Toilette ist zwar optisch, aber eben nur optisch getrennt. Wäre für mich als Paar ein "no go"...

Von unserer Terrasse (Zimmer 11) hatten wir einen wunderbaren Blick aufs Kap und den Atlantik. Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, sehr freundlich. Alles bestens !

Breakfast was definitely a highlight – a delicious three-course affair, clearly prepared with care. The chefs did a fantastic job and couldn’t have done more. The location is beautiful and peaceful, though it’s worth noting that having a car is essential as it’s quite remote.

Unfortunately, the room was a major letdown. Everything – shower, bath, sink, coffee area, and TV – was all crammed into a single open space, offering zero privacy unless you were in the toilet. It felt more like a studio than a hotel room, and ours had a noticeable damp smell. This setup wasn’t made clear in the listing, and it really affected our comfort. There was also a serious issue with the water system – if someone used the tap or flushed the toilet, the shower temperature would suddenly spike, making it dangerously hot. We had to be extra cautious just to avoid being scalded, which is not what you expect from a property at this price point. There’s no supper service available, and while there is a bar on-site, it’s purely functional – just drinks, with no real atmosphere in the evening. It felt like the day ended after breakfast, with little to enjoy on-site for the rest of the day. The pool area was another missed opportunity. While it looked appealing at first glance, it could have done with more consistent cleaning – pine needles and other debris weren’t regularly cleared, which made it feel neglected. Staff seemed friendly – often just one person on duty, so we didn’t raise our concerns at the time as they were busy serving breakfast. For nearly £300 per night, we expected much more in terms of service and amenities – even something as simple as a cold towel by the pool or being offered a drink would’ve made a difference. If you’re looking for something truly special or luxurious, this place may not deliver on that promise.

A área comum é muito agradável. A piscina infinta é super bonita. O facto de oferecerem bolo e água durante o periodo da tarde é óptimo. O hotel em si é bonito. O pequeno almoço é bom.

Podiam melhorar o serviço de pequeno almoço, achei super lento, para a quantidade de pessoas a trabalhar vs clientes. Também acho o conceito do pequeno almoço fraco, poucas opções. O quarto onde fiquei precisava de remodelação, a banheira entope imenso e o tecto do quarto não aparenta muita segurança.

A must for a getaway. Private and super comfortable.

The capacity of Hot water is not enough for taking the shower and having the bath

Beautiful, quiet, small hotel. Spacious comfortable room (we were in a premium room). You'd benefit from having a car here, but it's not essential. It's slightly inconvenient the hotel doesn't offer evening meals but the village is a 5-10min walk downhill and has several restaurants (we went in the quiet season and there were always at least 2 open). One offers delivery to the hotel but beware it's cash only! Sintra and Lisbon are approx 30mins away by car for sightseeing - Ubers serve the area and are very inexpensive or the hotel can arrange transfers. We borrowed mountain bikes for free and cycled 4km to the beach - be aware it's quite challenging cycling in the area due to hills and off-road terrain, so this wouldn't be an option for everyone, but if you are reasonably fit or cycle regularly you will love the beautiful landscape of the national park. The beach is beautiful with golden sand but huge waves on this coast mean no swimming. Yes, as some reviews mention, there was still building work on a neighbouring property when we visited (March 2025) and it's a bit ugly on one side of the hotel but we weren't disturbed by construction noise. Helpful staff, delicious breakfast, nice indoor and poolside lounging areas.

Back to nature with all cork houses/rooms with natural tones. We got an upgrade to a room with bath and sea view. Very nice hotel and good location.

Gate is not very friendly and is not always working properly.

First of all we need to mention that the staff at Charm Nature was absolutely helpless and arrogant, which was such a shame because the location and aesthetics of the hotel was outstanding. First of all, the fridge in our room was leaking so there was a big pile of water on the floor when we got back to our room and after we reported the problem to the staff they just suggested that we wipe the water with one of our bathroom towels. Both the sunbeds and the outdoor chairs were completely wet so after sitting on them for a few seconds our pants were completely soaked through and when we reported the issue, the staff response was that it has been raining a lot. Instead of trying to solve the problem.. The sink in our hotel room was also not functioning properly as the water didn’t go down and the curtains couldn’t be completely closed so we woke up to a lot of light in our room! Lastly, we accidentally left a 200 EUR pair of shoes and phone charger in the room and after we left we tried to call the hotel so we can collect our things. First the staff member said that they will look for the things and call us back in an hour but we haven’t heard anything and we tried to call them about 15-20 times in the next 12 hours but no response! We find this completely unacceptable and unprofessional, especially considering the high price level of this hotel! All in all, we didn’t have a good experience because of the helplessness and the arrogant style of the staff.

Our room was incredible, we loved the layout with the L sofa/ TV area, and large bath. The shower products were top quality.

The outdoor space of Charm Nature sets you up for relaxation, from the library and breakout area, to the bar and lastly the pool area. The proximity to the national park is a real bonus too, next time we'll head off for a walk then head back to the pool after.

Would have been great to have an outside shower before getting into the pool.

Logical things are missing. No shower at the pool, no bathroom at the pool, no desk in your room, only a small bin in the toilet but by bin in the room. Asif the architect had never been in a hotel.

The staff were exceptional. The service was straight forward.

The room design - there's no place for clothes. The shower design - the water well overflowed on longer or multiple showers. The shower temprature - mixer tabs with the hot running on to high a temprature (dangerously so)

It is an extremely beautiful hotel and the staff are super friendly.

Friendly staff, Migual was the best he explained everything to us. In addition, he helped us to late dinner about 10:00 pm. I highly recommend this accommodation to everyone especially if you want to escape the city life.

Everything was magnificent! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Wonderful view to the beach. There were also plenty parking spaces.

The breakfast was fantastic - couldn’t eat as much as I wanted.

Wonderful staff, Miguel and Tatiana were very helpful. Beautiful surroundings, very comfortable and classy but not flashy and nicely blended with the local environment. Gorgeous rooms and bar area and lovely pool area with sea views, though it was a bit rainy for us to use!

The mini bar in the room was pretty pricey and it would be nice if they had dinner options on site

A luxury retreat. Tucked away in the hills with a view of the ocean, a heated infinity pool and the cozy comfort of fireplaces scattered throughout. The rooms are spacious and equipped with in-room soaking tubs and cozy robes to really lean into the relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was big and tasty! Really enjoyed our stay.

Restaurants were a bit of a walk and not at all our favorite. Note the resort only provides breakfast and has lunch / snacks for puchase but stops serving at 6PM. It's worth noting the resort food was excellent so I hope they eventually expand to a dinner offering :)

Building work next door makes it hard to enjoy the facilities and pool during the week due to the noise and builders.

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely hotel. We were there with our 3 month old baby and the staff were lovely with her and very accommodating. The pool is lovely and heated. Breakfasts were superb and our room was lovely and big. There was construction work going on next door but this didn’t disturb our stay. I have read reviews of people complaining about it but it was hardly something the hotel could control!! We will definitely come back and stay again.

Our room was very dark and the bedside light switches were high up on the wall so you have to get up out of bed to use them!

The design of the rooms & reception, the quality of finish, the amenities in the rooms like speakers, log burners, the personalities of the staff, the food grown in the garden, the view, the retreat culture, the location to all of western Lisbon, the heated pool, the offer of their own rental car. The location was wonderful. Beautiful area, villages, beaches and restaurants nearby.

If we had been advised there is construction work going on we would not have booked this hotel. We stayed in a very expensive hotel to be met with a very noisy, dusty building site. We had to leave the hotel all day to escape it, could not eat breakfast outside, our room was right next to the building site and were unable the outside space we had upgraded to, we weren't even offered a different room despite the hotel only have a few rooms booked. The management of the hotel and Booking.com did not advise this in advance and the owners have had no interest in replying to our issues.

The fragrance of the rooms is lovely. And the heated pool is exceptional. The food was also delicious and they tailored the menu individually for my young daughter.

There is currently some construction work next door.

Beautiful grounds and common areas. The staff are what made it so special, however. Super helpful, friendly, and attentive.

Perfectly located between various places of interest whether beaches or towns (that's if you can drag yourself away from the beautiful setting and pool). Only 30 mins drive from Lisbon but in a truly tranquil location. Rooms / apartments command spectacular sea views from where you can watch amazing sunsets. The amazingly helpful and friendly staff are on hand to offer tips and advice and they make the meanest cocktail west of Lisbon! They really make you feel welcome. Probably the best breakfasts we have had anywhere. Local restaurants within walking distance are outstanding and provide a variety of wonderful dishes. Many stay open late so if you do finally drag yourself away from Charm Nature, nothing ever feels rushed. We can't wait to go back.

Can't think of anything negative to say about our stay save that we wished it could gave been longer.

We checked in late at night, and Andre took great care of us and got us situated. We stayed in the Deluxe King Hasten Suite (which is not a king bed, but a queen), and it was beautiful. We also ordered in-room massages with one of their vendors. Slight hiccup was that the appointments were for Mon, but she didn't arrive due to child care issues, and we rescheduled for the next day. It was great. The property itself is fantastic with cork walls, wooden decks, and many small design details that we appreciated. The shower was very large and had plenty of hot water with great water pressure. Our own Netflix account was super easy to connect to their TV via the supplied QR code. Every morning, there was free breakfast, and it was freshly made and delicious. Plenty of free coffee, tea, and juices in the breakfast area adjacent to the lobby. Breakfast included chia puddings, uniquely prepared egg options, pancakes, etc. We also got to know Jason there who was also fantastic and very hospitable.

Charm Nature is located just up the hill from the very small town of Azoia where there are a couple of great restaurants including 3 Gomes (we ate there twice). Azoia, despite traveling in July when it was mid 80s F in Lisbon 45 min away, was quite cool most of the time (50s and 60s F) with micro-climate like temperatures, including cool, misty mornings requiring jackets or sweaters for breakfast daily. The pool and lounge area was gorgeous, but sadly we didn't use it much given the cool weather. Relatedly, I would have appreciated the in-room Lacunza free-standing wood-burning fire places to be prepared and lit every night by the staff, because it was very difficult for me to do and maintain the fire each night, which was required given the cooler mountain air rolling in during the evening. All in all, given proximity to the beach and going in July with mostly hot weather in Lisbon, we were a bit disappointed about the weather at the property, which didn't allow us to sit out on the beautiful lounge chairs for long to enjoy the pool.

Very nice atmosphere and located at the mountain with a nature feeling and beautiful view. Staff was great and very helpful, and always available.

The familyroom has two beds for children which are not so comfortable (matras on the floor). Currently a construction at the neighbouring plot is ongoing and a high crane is running during working hours, Charm nature can not help this, it is however little disappointing when you expect to arrive in a nature scenery, a temporary inconvenience.

This is a luxurious treat and worth every penny. The staff can not do enough for you, polite, helpful and the breakfast is amazing. It is a quiet location but for us that was perfect and has an air of a yoga retreat and very chilled.

We struggle to find any fault with this experience and highly recommend. Sadly there is building work next door but that can’t be helped.
