Clean, conducive to stay

First no proper communication were kept outside for more than 5 minutes, and no proper induction about the place that's pissed me off just after we have to wait for more than 5 minutes until someone who was leaving open the gate, then the lady working there noticed us.

Okey, breakfast was good. More than enough and tasty. Did have a problem with bfst not being available on day 2 and 3 due to a large function later on day 2. The manager did promise a refund which is acceptable. Luckily i could make alternative arrangements.

Pillows were very hard. Softer pillow would have been nice.

Lovely overnight stay. Thank you for accommodating our fur children!

Incredible customer service from the moment you check in to the ladies who take care of the rooms and the owners. Everyone here is incredibly helpful and goes out of their way to accommodate every guest’s needs.

Cynthia is the very best manager. The welcome super. The room was beautiful. Aircon working well, bed super comfortable, hot water on point. We enjoyed our time at bosveld bufallo room👌👌👌 .

An improvement or addition they shud put in the room. The shower ND toilet should hav doors seperating one from the other from the main bedroom. Other than that.. All was great. 👌👌

Smoking by other people staying in rooms next door. The smoke blow into our room constantly. Even when smoking in front of the pool still made the smoke blow into the rooms. Bathroom shower was leaking and made the floor completely wet.

Location is great and secure. Cynthia is an amazing host. I choose the lodge every time I travel to Joburg South.

There are minor improvements that can be done and another thing why my comments are in this order is due to the conversation I had with Cynthia, she's a good addition to the property asking the right questions willing to expand the properties footprint so in retrospect, I believe there will be a 100% on par soonest they're able to attend those events we spoke about. The property will meet the guests and visitors expectations on all fronts however - I cannot speak for the entire facility as I did not do a site inspection so I can comment holistically but at face value. Overall, its a beautiful venue, I enjoyed my stay!

My room didn't have aircon but I believe it will be fixed so the blanket did its job atleast, we're in winter so it's important to get the room warm upon my arrival regardless of time, the room needs to be warm so it wasn't bad to be honest

It was rather cold, air-conditioning was not working during our stay, but they did try to fix it just didnt get it right at the time...few cockroaches spotted, but addressed by the team..

We did not have breakfast but the property was close to all the places we needed to visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the property was clean and tidy and security good.

We are a large group that attends a festival in Emmarentia every year, and we’ve always struggled to find accommodation that can host a big group while also offering a great braai area and a comfortable space to relax together the night before. Bosveld in die Stad is absolutely worth being a little further away from Emmarentia (where we needed to be). The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, and they even allowed us to check in a bit earlier at no extra cost, which we really appreciated. There is also a cash bar on the premises where you can buy drinks, which made our stay even more convenient. Bosveld in die Stad is located right across from an OK Foods and a petrol station, so you don’t have to travel far if you quickly need to grab something you forgot. We will definitely be staying there again next year!

Parking area is a tight fit for bigger vehicles.

Our rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The executive suite is very spacious and comfortable. Our host, Cynthia, was very welcoming and accommodating and assisted whenever we needed anything. She would go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and address any issues immediately.

The plug in the sink in the double room didn't seal properly, so water was leaking into the drain.

Ek het onlangs by Bosveld in die Bos Lodge gebly en dit was absoluut wonderlik! Die omgewing is ongelooflik rustig en pragtig – perfek as jy wil wegkom van die stad se geraas en net wil ontspan. Die verblyf was netjies, gemaklik en baie goed toegerus met alles wat ’n mens nodig het. Die gasvryheid was uit die boonste rakke – vriendelik, behulpsaam en mens voel sommer dadelik welkom. Ek het veral die stilte, die natuur en die bosveld-atmosfeer geniet. Dit is die ideale plek vir ’n naweek wegbreek of selfs langer. Ek sal beslis weer teruggaan en sal dit sterk aanbeveel vir enigiemand wat op soek is na rus en natuur.

The staff are very rude. The R150 for breakfast is a total ripoff. For that you get cold overcooked eggs, shrivelled Viennas, and sachets of nescafe coffee.

I like the fact that its easy to find and its close to malls/centers that you can go too.(Near by malls)

Only the fact aircon in our room was not working but they gad a fan for substitute.

The location is perfect. All the staff very friendly and helpfull. Room clean and beautiful. Will definitely use them again.

We didn’t even sleep and left because of that Fra station and imagine being security with a gun was called for communication with no must and very and civilled

Well located, very comfortable and clean and we were received with warmth and professionalism.

Cynthia, the manager was amazing. She made our stay lovely. She had the courtesy of catering for our dietary requirements, and went out of her way to help us in every way. Special mention to Patience, who has exceptional guest service! We will definitely visit again. Great place, serene for couples.

The place was decent for our needs. It was clean and conveniently placed. My Kids loved it there and the lady we dealt with was super helpfull. Very pleasant.

The parking was small and we had strangers parked in our parking. Its a shame you have to pay extra to use the Jacuzzi.

The facility double booked us and transferred us to an inferior accommodation.

Owner very helpful and responsive. Very clean place and nice swimming pool.

Friendly staff, beautiful place , nice rooms.

After a long trip , I wanted to take some rest, but the pool area is in front of the rooms. Other guests using the pool area made lots of noise, making it hard to rest.

The lodge is beautifully maintained, safe, and serene, making it perfect for both relaxation and events. What really sets it apart, though, is Cynthia. She is an exceptional host, warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests feel at home.

The shower was not very effective. extremely low water pressure and at times, no hot water.

Wij hadden drie kamers geboekt voor ons gezin en we kregen maar 2 kamers, de andere 2 mensen moesten naar een andere accommodatie zonder auto. Er was zogezegd een overboeking maar we hadden geboekt in februari!!

Location to the N3

The rooms were quite cluttered, making it challenging to navigate. Throughout the night, there was a persistent noise that resembled a metallic sound, which we were informed was caused by the 'windpump'.

It's a beautiful place and I will make use of it again
