LA MAISON DE ROBINSON vs Similar Hotels

Rooms were described as spacious and comfortable, though there were some complaints about noise.

Many guests value spacious, tastefully renovated rooms, comfortable beds and effective AC; some reports of ageing bathrooms, damaged curtains and maintenance issues temper the rating.

Some reviews pointed out issues with the cleanliness and the need for improvement.

Multiple guests report rooms as 'propre', 'cama muito limpa' and recently renovated rooms; some minor housekeeping misses noted (empty soap dispenser, occasional clogged sink) but overall very clean.

Guests appreciated the quiet and well-located setting, suitable for their needs.

Frequently praised: tramway at the door, quiet residential area, good parking and easy access — ideal for outskirts/park area stays though not central Paris.

Multiple reviews praised the friendly and accommodating staff, indicating high service quality.

Several positive mentions of attentive staff (named praise, flexible check-in, helpful reception) but recurring comments about indifferent or unfriendly reception and inconsistent welcome reduce the score.

The breakfast and food offerings were frequently highlighted as excellent.

Breakfast is described as 'correct' by some but others criticise cost and limited quality (pre-prepared trays, canned items); overall F&B receives the most negative recurring comments.

The gym equipment and lack of some amenities received criticism, affecting the rating.

Good points include parking (EV charging noted) and AC; negatives include lack of small fridge in some rooms, limited TV channels, broken vending machine and occasional non-working sockets.

Overall value perceived as good but some felt it could be better given the pricing of certain rooms.

Several guests call it good value and praise price-quality ratio, while others feel it is 'cher pour ce que c’est' and note expensive breakfasts, giving a mixed but overall fair value score.
