Reviewed Sep 16, 2026This hotel was the highlight of our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a magnificent view of the sea. As for the pool, it is an infinity pool that provides a stunning view of the sunset. Everything was wonderful, even better than in the photos. If we ever return to Pylos, I already know where I'll be staying :-)

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026We had a studio room which was big, had a balcony facing the sunset over the bay, and included a small kitchen area. The shower room was clean and bright. The aircon was perfect. The infinity pool overlooking the bay was lovely. Breakfast was an amazing assortment of Greek treats, too much for us to eat.
The hotel is a 15 minute uphill walk form town. We're in our 60's but still fit, so it wasn't a problem to us. Worth it for the views out over the bay every day.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026מלון נקי מאוד! עם נוף מדהים, במיקום מעולה על מדרון ההר, כקילומטר לפני העיירה פילוס. העיירה עצמה קטנה ודי משעממת, האזור מדהים ומומלץ מאוד לטיולים! מיקום המלון מחוץ לעיירה רק מוסיף לנוחות. חניה נוחה ממש מול המלון, במלון בריכת אינפיניטי קטנה לנוף המדהים שנשקף מכל מקום. הצוות סימפטי ונכון לעזור בכל עניין. החדר בקומה שנייה היה נקי מפנק, מאובזר ונוח, עם שתי מרפסות, עם מיטות שיזוף וריהוט חוץ.
ארוחת הבוקר שלא היתה כלולה ועלתה 14 אירו לאדם, היתה בסיסית, ללא מבחר, אבל טעימה וטריה מאוד.

A bit difficult to find staff for checking in and out. The kitchen is not very well designed - you bang your heads on cupboards! But the pool is lovely.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026We had a wonderful stay at Philip Hotel in Pylos, Peloponnesos. The view was absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset, overlooking the beautiful sea. The room was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Everything was well maintained, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing views.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Beautiful view of the bay, simple clean room and very comfortable bed with a balcony - even on the ground floor it didn’t feel too close to the road, and only a bit of noise which wasn’t an issue for us. Perfect for an overnight stop.
Mosquito net/sliding door had seen better days - was a bit raggedy and torn. Also WiFi and TV signal not great during our stay, but these were not serious problems by any means.

Reataurant closed early and limited on food for. Breakfast should have been included in the price and then excellenr score would be given. Continental is all required

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Heerlijke schone kamer met prachtig uitzicht. Ook het zwembad heerlijk met mooi terras. Of je in een 4 sterrenhotel verbleef. Echt super voor die prijs.
Alleen als je lopend bent zoals wij dan was het wel even een klim naar boven. Maar met auto of taxi dan goed te doen. Parkeerplaats voor de deur.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026Η θέα είναι μαγική! Το δωμάτιο που είχαμε ήταν άνετο. Το μπάνιο ήταν άνετο επίσης. Καθαρό. Είχε την δυνατότητα ακόμα και να ετοιμάσεις κάτι πρόχειρο να μαγειρέψεις, αν ήθελε κάποιος.
'Έλλειπε μια πετσέτα σώματος. Θα μπορούσε να υπάρχει στο μπαλκόνι κάποια απλώστρα. Κακή εντύπωση μας έκανε επίσης το πόσο αραχνιασμένα ήταν τα κάγκελα στο μπαλκόνι ( δεν περνά απαρατήρητο αφού το μπαλκόνι και η θέα είναι από τα βασικά ατού του δωματίου).

It’s not a short walking distance from the harbor. Perhaps 2/3 to 3/4 of a mile. On the other hand, you don’t have the noise of the harbor.

Reviewed May 21, 2026Unkomplizierter Gastgeber und Schlüsselübergabe, Frühstück hatten wir im Ort, hat gut geklappt und es war schön das echte Leben um sich herum zu erleben. Hotel direkt an der Straße, aber die Fenster gut schallisoliert. Fliegengitter vorhanden. Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hsus.
Für uns hat alles gepasst.

Reviewed Oct 13, 2025Sehr schöne Lage mit Blick über die Bucht von Navarino. Geräumiges und sehr gut ausgestattet Studio mit grossem Balkon. Sehr sauberes Hotel. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Besonders hervorzuheben die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Gastgebers und seiner Mitarbeitenden. Ich war bereits vor einigen Jahren in diesem Hotel und werde, falls ich in die Gegend reise, wieder dort ein Studio buchen.

Bad renovierungsbedürftig, zu Fuß in den Ort zu gehen ist aufgrund des Verkehrs nicht ratsam, knapp EUR 150 pro Nacht ohne Frühstück fanden wir deutlich hoch.
