The Room size was good and the amenities were in order. I was particularly surprise at the spread of the breakfast buffet which was very comprehensive for a hotel in this remote town. Well done to the management.

Very comfortable stay, good breakfast, well constructed property. Cocktails by the pool were lovely. A pleasure to stay in such a nicely maintained and staffed hotel!

Bathroom door kept coming unlatched, and there was too much condensation on the windows to see out in the morning. Very minor issues.

Very well appointed room with a large comfortable bed, beautiful pool which we greatly enjoyed. The staff were delightful and this must be the best hotel in Mae Sot.

We didn’t think the breakfast reflected the quality of the hotel - needed an “omelette monitor”, but perhaps the limited Western choices reflect the mainly non Western clientele.

C'est vraiment dommage que la piscine soit à l' ombre , on n'a pas pu en profiter, car l' eau était froide .

There is some loud music being played (sometimes classical, sometimes live band). I prefer elegance through some silence after 8pm, if possible.

The quality of coffee could be better at breakfast. But considering it is a small hotel in on the Thai-Myanmar border it is acceptable. The coffee in the cafe is very good.

Wir hatten in Booking.com ein Hotel in “Tak” gesucht. Das “Teak” wurde uns in den Suchergebissen angezeigt und wir buchten es. Erst bei der Anreise stellten wir fest, dass sich das Hotel 85 km weit entfernt von Tak befindet und es nur über einen Berg mit Serpentinen erreichbar ist. Wir benötigten ca. 1,5 Stunden und am nächsten Tag wieder 1,5 Stunden zurück zur Autobahn. Auch wenn das vermutlich ein Fehler von Booking.com ist, denke ich, dass das schon mehreren passiert ist. Deshalb meine ausführliche Beschreibung. Das Hotel selbst liegt in einem thailändischen Dorf und außer einem 7/11 gleich um die Ecke, gibt es dort tatsächlich nichts. Das Restaurant macht einen guten Eindruck. Die Speisekarte ist riesig. Ein Drittel würde reichen. Dafür war das Kotlett total trocken und das Gemüse war gedünstet ohne Salz und Pfeffer.

Stijlvolle moderne oase in drukke Mae Sot centrum. Goed restaurant voor diner en het ontbijtbuffet is fantastisch! Met name de jam soorten.

Ligging in druk straatje is niet bijzonder.

The room is clean, the bed is very comfortable and the breakfast has great variety.

The splash guard in the shower is a bit short and doesn’t fully prevent water from going into the main bathroom area making it wet after a shower.

Difficult to think

This is our first trip to Thailand, and first hotel here to stay in. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we arrived, but I didn’t expect anything this nice. This is a beautiful and clean property. The breakfast here is incredible. Our room is clean, modern, and quiet.

Spotlessly clean. Excellent staff. In fact, very well staffed (reception; restaurant; house-keeping) and very efficient in all sectors. The restaurant was outstanding. A peaceful place to retreat to after a long day's work.

The hotel has a very good restaurant/bisto/coffee shop which is popular with locals, the food was that good.

Only real disappointment was the quality of the breakfast coffee.

A new and modern hotel, likely the best hotel in the area, but not cheap. Location is walking distance to temples worth visiting, markets, not far from night market, restaurants. Pretty much in the center of things.

This was a nice hotel. It had a good location. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice. The restaurant was good.

Always smiling and helpful staff. The rooms are wonderful and super clean. My girlfriend and I stayed at The Teak for one week in December and we could feel the Christmas atmosphere around this hotel with all the Christmas trees, decoration and music. Hands down, one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Thank you for everything, The Teak staff. My girlfriend and I will be back again.

They delivered excellent service and we came in with a lot of dirty laundry and they fixed everything in four hours. They have amazing food in the restaurant for a very very good prices. The pool was good and the hotel it’s very clean and the stuff is really good and it’s a lot of people working there, and this made the service quick and very enjoyable. I really recommend this hotel, if you travel to Mae Sot.

The water pressure in the shower was great but the water was very hot. I wasn’t able to adjust the water temperature in my room.

An example of a hotel that really goes the extra mile to provide excellent service. The rooms and general hotel decor is excellent: modern, high quality and aesthetically appealing. The breakfast is enormous (though a few more vegetarian hot dishes would be appreciated - it's a bit meat heavy) and pool/fitness facilities are impressive. The thing that really impressed us was the willingness of the front desk staff to help us make some arrangements for later in our travels (we needed THai speakers to make a couple of calls for us, and they were more than happy to help), and even the parking attendant in the hotel's parking area was so courteous and helpful whenever we drove in our out of the hotel area. For a small and relatively out-of-the-way place, Mae Sot is lucky to have such an excellent hotel - and it's highly recommended!

Excellent facility in middle of Mae Sot, Thailand. An “A” for all services with easy check in process. Rooms are sufficiently provisioned with standard amenities and clean. Good central pool vie for all rooms yet with privacy facade. Food is great spread

A very nice new hotel, with a very warm welcome from the excellent staff, nice rooms, and a good breakfast. The swimming pool is good and the hotel is immaculate with good parking. Not a lot to do in the town but ideal for a place to make the base for touring

Loud noisy trucks outside but poor room lighting in room that kept turning on by itself no matter how many times I shut it off in middle of night. I got no rest, up from 1:30 am to 6:30 am. Find another hotel to stay at.

This is a beautiful hotel, an oasis in fact in Mae Sot. The staff were welcoming and very friendly throughout our stay. The room was nice, with comfy beds and great water pressure in the shower. The breakfast is delicious with lots of choices of Thai and foreign breakfast. The pool was really nice and clean, they had a nice shallow pool at one end that was perfect for children to enjoy. The restaurant and cafe served delicious meals too.

There is nothing I have to complain about, we were very pleasantly surprised and truly enjoyed our stay at The Teak Hotel.
