Short distance to and from the airport; peaceful ambiance; warm and accommodating owner/staff; clean rooms

Location is walkable from the airport, there's a pool in the villa where you can relax after a tiring day touring around.

Their mini store is out of stock when we came, so we need to find store outside to buy few items which is not available there. The pool is clean and ready to use but we need to remove dead insects as it's getting piled up on the side of the pool.

Location was convenient to the airport, walking distance in fact. Minimal aircraft traffic was not a bother. Staff were friendly, and were helpful in arranging local transportation. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean, if somewhat basic. Value for money was excellent.

No water or coffee service in room, had to go to the lobby to get drinking water. I didn’t need it, but there was no space available on the property to park a rented vehicle.

Very nice and friendly people. Right next to the airport (we just walked in the last day). The room was well equipped with fridge, air-conditioning and even a microwave. Very confortable beds. I will choose this place again on my next visit to Batanes

It is in the Center of Batanes. The owner is kind, helpful,verständnissfull and nice.

The Villa is very near the airport, at the Center . It is a beautiful hotel with plants, flowers, orchids all around.Very comfortable,they also have a swimming pool .The owner is kind and helpful.

Our stay was comfortable and so homey. The place is clean and has good ventilation. You get to enjoy the air in the garden. The staff are very hospitable and treat you like family.

Internet/Wifi is so difficult from our room in 3rd floor. Hope they can fix this. Also our bathroom doesnt have exhaust fan. We only opened the windows but not for long or else mosquitos would come in.

PRO: Walkable (5-10mins walk) from the airport, quiet location, clean, nature-ry, has a non-chlorinated pool, kind and helpful staff, free and delish breakfast, room was spacious and clean, bathroom was spacious, clean and updated, AC was strong/cool, flush/toilet was tested and passed with flying colors, has a tiny honesty store in-site (well-stocked, reasonably priced), wifi is decent, easy to find transport, staff will hook you up with tours, very accomodating with early check-in (we arrived at 8-9am and they still checked us in with breakfast too!). CON: Water pressure can be weak (bidet), no bell in the front desk which can cause some delay since we have to look for the staff, laundry service is pricey. RECOMMENDATION: Highly recommended for short/long stay in Basco for business/leisure.

Their mattresses are comfy and the breakfast is good. Location is also nice. Staff services is excellent throughout and they are very helpful.

Room is not clean especially the mattresses thou mattress is comfy. We weren't able to sleep for the last 2 nights of our stay because of bed bugs. I was bitten many times of mosquitoes and bed bugs. Wifi can't cover all the spot in our room.And I hope they also put hot shower.

Location wise, it was very near the airport. As in I was surprised to find out that it was just a block away. They offered free airport transfers, you just have to politely ask them. Free breakfast too. But I wasn’t anle to ask if their dining hall offers full meal services. Though the breakfast set was simple, it would be enough to start the day. I loved the fish lumpia, the longganisa and tapa they served us for our stay. The staff, I can not say negative as they were very nice and so accommodating. I felt so at home. The family room was spacious for our group. The room set-up was comfortable and homey. The hotel was a walking distance to a grocery store, cafes and other restaurants. Google map is very useful here.

Whatever negative points that I felt, can not equal to the positive feeling that Villa de Babat did for our group. In fact if ever I can return to Batanes, I will still choose to stay here again.

Hospitable hosts and aesthetic environment.

Everything! Exceptional was the homey atmosphere and the hospitality of the owners and staff. We usually meet at the reception area and were allowed to eat at the dining table on certain times we decided to have food delivery. They thought of everything we needed. We felt safe, well rested and secured during our entire stay. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

We had no WiFi at the 3rd floor and at the room outside the house. Otherwise there’s WiFi connection in most areas of the house.

Clean nice place

Villa de Babat is clean and comfortable. It is good value for money. They can take you to and from the airport with no extra charge because the travel time from hotel to terminal is about 2 minutes! Don't worry about noise, though, because there are just a few flights (smaller planes) a day. The included breakfast is freshly cooked with rice, egg, fruit, and meat or fish. You can sit on the couches in the lobby to use the wifi. My room had no wifi at all. Overall, a good value for the price.

Very close to airport, very friendly hosts.

We were served lunch which was delicious! We supposed to be only given breakfast but we arrived around 10 am. The vegetables were so fresh! Everyone was friendly! I will surely tell my family about this hotel.

Villa de Babat is a rare find. The architect's attention to detail and creative thinking in maximizing the space is truly impressive. He used every aspect of the space to create a visually appealing and practical environment.

Good location in Basco. 2 minutes walk from airport and within 10-15 minutes to anywhere within Basco town. Clean and tidy. Many TV channels to choose from after a day of tours. Breakfast is served promptly per arranged timing, Host bought Milo when he realised we had kids and coffee/tea wouldnt cut. Thanks!

A pity WiFi is only available at the living room. Breakfast limited to cured meat, rice, egg and coffee/tea.

you can hear the noise of a running child upstairs. this happened the whole day and night. the room was stuffy. the sheets were not new. pool was not maintained. it was a below average stay for us.

Feels like home, even better

Amazing place with amazing people. Very welcoming and hospitality is top notch.

Staff is accommodating and easy to deal with. The location is perfect, 1 min walk to the airport and the town square is 15 min walk. Breakfast is simple but delicious and varied. Beds and linen are comfy.

Pool does not look inviting as the pictures. There are issues with AC but for a remote island like Batanes, repair service is not easy to come by. Housekeeping could be improved.

Staff provided above and beyond customer service. They treated us like their long time friends. It seems they were always around to cater to our needs. Highly recommended and will definitely stay with them if I go back to Basco, Batanes.

It was walking distance from the airport, so no hassle during checkout time Noel and Evelyn were very dependable, approachable and friendly The place was well manicured and landscaped, a godd place to relax after each day's activities The rooms were clean and good smelling too, toilet working well, hot shower provided There are more things to say, all in all: highly recommended, from a picky customer😊

Room kinda dark even if I open all the lights and lampshade, not much options on TV channels, one instance when breakfast wasn’t ready on agreed time, pool doesn’t look it’s cleaned often

Very nice and comfortable

The staff are welcoming and warm. They see to it we will not be late during our flight and monitors the time the plane arrived to be ready for departure. Lani was great assisting us on the charger. Umbrella was also available. Breakfast is great, tapa and flying fish and tasty coffee.

The room was not cleaned the second day, I need to ask them to clean up the trash can. I understand it is not a new hotel but due cleanliness should be observed, there was a cockroach. Though over all the pillows are comfortable but very cold aircon at night.

It’s situated in a very good location, near the airport, walking distance to most eating places, facing the mountain and has a pool. Breakfast is good and just right to start your day. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The place is homey ❤️

Highly recommended. Very very hospitable, clean, i think the best hotel service I ever had.

The location is good, near the airport, which is in walking distance. The common parts of the guesthouse are nice to look at but the room was not comfortable and most of all without any light.

The room was without light and view, small but the bed was more or less acceptable. The room was never cleaned during my stay and the sheet never changed. Breakfast. was mediocre. The guesthouse helps organise tours. It is connected with the most expensive and dishonest guides. This guesthouse is seriously overrated. I believe that relying on other travellers' opinions is not sufficient to provide reliable opinions on each of the premises.

Clean and comfortable. The staff always pleasant and responsive to our requests. Beautiful garden area and lobby to lounge around makes you feel very at home. The dining area a few steps next door building is lovely in simple good taste.

Walking distance to the Basco Airport & the Capital🇵🇭

The gardens were stunning, the 3 ladies Lani, Evelyn and ? were very helpful and Edward was a great cook and coffee server.

The room was very spacious and clean. The beds were soft, which was very comfortable for us! The staff was lovely and helped us many times with our questions. We were happy that we could extend our stay when our flight got canceled. The AC worked perfectly and there was hot water in the shower.

The water pressure was low and the wifi did not work at all during our stay.

Proximity to airport. After checking with google maps it’s just 1 minute from airport and i decided to walk not knowing that i had someone who will pick me up at the airport. The place is cozy and clean. Also tour can be arranged

The staff were all friendly and kind

The staff are so friendly. They picked us up from the airport even if their location is just a few minutes walk. Literally just beside the airport. We got stranded in the area due to a strong typhoon but they made sure that we were safe so they secured the windows by covering them.

The wifi was so slow to the point that it wasn't anymore uselful. :(

The staff were very warm, welcoming and helpful.

Internet speed and water pressure can be improved. We were unable to use the wifi at the third floor. Water pressure was low at the third floor.
