Cala Rosa Club Hotel

We had come from a disastrous Airbnb in Cannigione Olbia and found this amazing place on booking.com the reviews looked good so decided to give it a go and what a breath of fresh air. This place is I’m writing this whilst at the hotel because I’m so impressed with the service firstly from front of house Adele who couldn’t do enough for us she personally showed us the room before we checked in and made us feel so welcome that we decided to take the room immediately after our story of of our bad experience in Cannigione she made sure we had a room that suited our requirements ie great view, Aircon comfortable bed and beautifully clean room. We decided to book the evening meal in the restaurant where we met the deputy restaurant manager called Lorenzo who welcomed us to the hotel and show us to our table we had a buffet evening meal which I would say is the best buffet selection I’ve ever seen at any hotel, everything was quality and the service was impeccable. In the morning we came down for breakfast and again we were not disappointed. Lorenzo personally welcomed us and showed us where everything was on the buffet. I have been in the service industry most of my life and I can truly say watching Lorenzo interact with the other guests, was a master class in front of house restaurant service. he made sure that the tables were cleared quickly and efficiently and that the food was topped up at all times, I don’t think I saw him stand still for more than a few seconds, he was constantly directing operations and keeping a tight ship with the staff who obviously respect him and his organisational skills. If I was running a restaurant anywhere I would definitely poach him. All this added together with the beautiful surroundings and immaculately clean hotel we will definitely be coming back here again. FIRST CLASS

Très bel hôtel un extérieur magnifique bien entretenu, le lit très confortable. Le petit déjeuner varié et très bon. La piscine appréciable. La plupart du personnel était souriant et sympathique ,une personne parlait français ça nous a aidé à l'accueil. Les bouteilles d'eau dans le frigo.

La fenêtre qui était ouverte tout en haut de la salle de bain du coup on entendait du bruit et la difficulté pour se faire comprendre en français mais sinon on était vraiment satisfait de cet hôtel

the staff were really nice, energetic and very helpful 😀 they did the best with what is available. The room was clean, bathroom was huge. The air conditioning worked well, but there were indications to turn it off when you're not in the room to save electricity. I hope they install solar power on the roofs because the sun is intense during the day.

The quality of the breakfast was really poor. The croissants were old or at least tasted old and were really bad quality and about 1,000 of them. No freshly made coffee, only pod coffee from the machine, which was disappointing. The juices were not not nice the eggs were dry and the bacon was tasteless. Everything was cheap and when you buy cheap you get cheap. So why is the hotel so expensive then?

Ottima la nostra accoglienza dove abbiamo avuto modo di conoscere la direttrice, una donna in grado di ascoltare e accogliere le richieste ma soprattutto una persona che vive con te la vita del club e quindi attenta ai suoi ospiti. Le camere sono spaziose con cassaforte , doccia spaziosa, frigo con acqua,tv, e condizionatori di ottima fornitura. Tutto è circondato dal verde ben curato ricco di fiori e piante. Affascinante è stato ogni volta il passaggio tra le libellule. Bella la colazione, molto abbondante e varia.

Non abbiamo vissuto molto la vita del villaggio perché eravamo di passaggio ma non abbiamo percepito una presenza incisiva dell’intrattenimento. Questo però è un parere soggettivo.

Personale gentile, ottima pulizia. Molto belli i giardini.

Posto dedicato a famiglie con innumerevoli figli. Non adatto a chi cerca relax.

La localización del hotel, la comodidad de las camas, los jardines del hotel, el desayuno, el servicio de minibus para bajar a la playa, la recepcionista que hablaba español y que hubiera un servicio de breakfast pack para los huespedes que marchaban antes de la hora del desayuno.

El horario de la piscina era muy restrictivo, no nos gustó nada que de 13 a 15 estuviera cerrada y a partir de las 19 también cerrada. El pack del breakfast era muy malo, muy por debajo del nivel de un buen desayuno. Todo bollería industrial muy poco saludable. Sugeriríamos mejorarlo con una fruta, un sandwich y una bolsa de frutos secos, por ejemplo. El volúmen de los altavoces de los animadores de la piscina estaban a un nivel muy alto, molestaban a todos los huéspedes que querían un poco de relax. Sugeriríamos bajar el volumen, pues la gente y los niños que querían hacer actividades ya se acercaban a los animadores, no hacía falta poner la música tan alta, pues hay otros huéspedes que quieren tranquilidad.

This place was perfect for our family vacation. We really enjoyed the stay as it was just what we were looking for. With breathtaking views and close proximity to the beach. The customer service was excellent they helped us with such care. We will continue to stay at this resort for future trips.

Die Einrichtung wäre im Detail zu verbessern. Duschwand ist modern aber nicht besonders dicht. Der Mischer bei der Brause beim WC kann unabsichtlich beim Greifen nach dem Klopapier aktiviert werden 🙈Zumindest war es in unserem Zimmer so 😂 Und es fehlt eine Ablagemöglichkeit für die Seife. Also raunzen auf hohem Niveau 🙂

La camera e il posto erano bellissimi.

La parte esterna è veramente ben tenuta e il posto ha comunque una vicinanza strategica al mare. Inizialmente ci hanno dato una stanza non adeguata per vari motivi che tuttavia ci hanno cambiato non appena segnalate le problematiche. La nuova stanza era molto carina con il bagno con nuove rifiniture, i letti comodi e ampio spazio per le proprie cose. Il servizio navetta è comodo e gli autisti sono gentilissimi.

La struttura in generale andrebbe ripresa in vari punti, come nelle porte delle stanze o nello spazio piscina in cui ci sono pochissimi ombrelloni e alcuni lettini sono un po' sfasciati.

Materac tak stary że zapadasz się w dół . Ból pleców cały tydzień . Pokoje można by odświeżyć . Mały wybór na śniadania przy dłuższym pobycie . Bardzo stara i głośna klimatyzacja .

Bardzo czysty wyremontowany pokój. Przepiękny ogród.

Zbyt głośna, powtarzająca się muzyka na basenie. Bardzo głośne animacje w ciągu dnia.

Il personale molto gentile

Ci sono regole molto rigide, con qualche modifica sarebbe tutto più piacevole: 1) Orario navetta dovrebbe essere un po’ più ampio 2) orario piscina (idem), alle 19 chiude 3) usano troppa plastica (bicchieri di plastica, mini shampoo nelle stanze. Isco sostenibili 4) ti danno un buono aperitivo di benvenuto e poi con quello non puoi prendere nulla se non un beverone dolcissimo (allora non datelo)

Camera un po vecchiotta, soprattutto il materasso andrebbe ammodernato. Gli orari della navetta e della piscina sarebbe bello fossero prolungati fino allen19.30- 20.00

Molto bene nel complessivo ,ottima posizione con servizio di navetta. Camera molto pulita .Peccato per la colazione, di quantità ma di scarsa qualità e varietà.

Персонал работает супер,профисионально. Номер чистый ,территория красивая .Душевая большая просторная. Трансфер на море ,часто. В ресторане меню очень вкусное ,разнообразное. Если хотите поужинать тогда лучше заказать место с вечера.и утром вам его подтвердят.

Если любите тишину,тогда просите номер подальше от басеина. Вечером до 23 :00 идут развлекательные программы,и довольно громко

L odore di toilet all entrata in reception (forse lasciano la porta aperta) per fortuna ci si va solo on fase di check in/out e la veranda della camera non è illuminata la sera non si può stare fuori.

Goede ligging dichtbij La Penosa. Er rijd tussen 09.00-13.00 en 15.00-19.00 een gratis busje welke je afzet bij het strand. Ontbijtbuffet is goed.

Een wat verouderd complex met wel een goede ligging. De harde muziek van s’morgens tot ‘s-avonds bij het zwembad wekt irritatie. Slechte matrassen.

Nice, friendly hotel but there was music playing from the morning (at breakfast time) until late on the evening (midnight +). Perhaps our room was closer to the pool than others (where the entertainment area was). Lovely location. Helpful and safe. Pool was nice Family vibe.

Luxe uitstraling met mooie huisjes. Personeel is vriendelijk en de omgeving ziet er mooi uit. Fijn dat er ook een bar is waar je in de middag even kunt zitten en iets kunt drinken. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt buffet vergeleken met andere plekken op het eiland.

Aan het zwembad was er in de middag animatie. Dit zorgde er voor dat rustig aan het zwembad liggen niet altijd mogelijk was. Goed om rekening mee te houden als je voor de ontspanning komt. Animatie was verder wel erg vriendelijk en bedoeld voor jong en oud.

In primis il letto comodissimo ho dormito veramente bene e non è cosa da poco. Tutto lo staff molto gentili dai camerieri all' animazione tutti fantastici. Posto bellissimo curato con vista meravigliosa Colazioni pranzo e cena tutto ottimo e abbondante.. Il top grazie per la vostra ospitalità Grazie da Claudio e Manuela

Das Zimmer war top, die Lage sehr schön. Hatten wirklich Glück bei der Vergabe. Gibt auch schlechtere Lagen in dem Hotelkomplex. Schöne Anlage, Personal super nett.

Un lieu agréable, les chambres (différents blocs de petites maisons mitoyennes) sont réparties sur un grand site arboré et paysagé. La piscine est agréable mais assez bruyante

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré, notamment avec des fruits plus frais, et du vrai jus de fruit et non pas de l'eau aromatisée industrielle. La musique diffusée toute la journée à la piscine est de trop et vient s'ajouter inutilement aux bruits des enfants, même si les playlists choisies sont calmes.

Our stay was a major disappointment. The hotel’s website and promotional materials were extremely misleading, setting false expectations for what the property actually offers. One of the biggest deceptions was the beach. The site advertises a beautiful beach right next to the property, but in reality, there is no beach on-site. The pool that’s shown in photos as adjacent to the beach is also misleading—it’s not even on the hotel property. You have to take a shuttle to get there, and when we finally did, the pool was outdated and in poor condition, nothing like the pictures. The beach near this pool was rocky, dirty, and completely uninviting. To make matters worse, the only nice beach is located three shuttle stops away, but getting access to it requires a reservation at least 48 hrs in advance. During our entire stay, we couldn’t secure a reservation because it was always fully booked, which was incredibly frustrating and felt like a bait-and-switch. On top of these issues, the ac in our room wasn’t working, making the room unbearably hot. The hotel did offer another room with working AC, but they tried to charge us extra for it! After a long back-and-forth, they finally agreed to waive the charge, but the whole experience was exhausting and unprofessional. Overall, the false advertising, poor service, and misleading claims about the amenities ruined our stay. If you’re expecting a beachfront hotel with easy access to a nice beach and pool, you’ll be sorely disappointed

Les grandes chambres dans des bungalows dispersés dans la propriété. Un vrai service de navette pour les plages

l'état de la piscine. Le petit déjeuner très moyen. Attention à ne pas vous servir dans de vrais verres du jus d'orange ou vous serez réprimandé par un maitre d'hôtel très peu aimable, vous n'avez droit qu'à des verres plastiques - on se croirait à la cantine. Attention les plages sont payantes

Very nice view from the balcony, nice plants and flowers in the gardens, location is also good. Breakfast (not too bad)

No WiFi!!!! Like really?? We are in the 21st century and the WiFi is available only in the small reception area and barely ever works (good luck trying to download or watch a movie). For the price they charge every room should have the damn WFi. In this day and age it's a basic necessity. Another thing was that our room was located just above a kitchen I believe so there was a constant loud extractor fan noise coming from the adjacent chimney (?). The overall location of the hotel is quite but not our room unfortunately. Also, the air-conditioning looked like it saw better days and just barely worked. Breakfast options quite limited and I think it was the first time were not able to pick ourselves the ham or cheese... (You need to tell the waiter who will count the number of X items you tell her and then will hand them over to you...odd) Cleaning was good overall. The floors would be vacuumed but never really mopped (we stayed 1 week)

La posizione è ottima il servizio navetta funziona molto bene .Ho apprezzato molto il bagno di cortesia che la struttura ci ha dato a disposizione dopo che abbiamo lasciato la camera ,ci ha dato la possibilità di godere di un altra mezza giornata di mare.

Migliorerei la colazione preparando magari dei waffle e dei pancake al momento .Aggiungendo magari delle torte di frutta alla mattina .

It was a lovely place but bathrooms could use a reno

We stayed for one week at Cala Rosa in August 2024. A very big GRAZIE to all the staff. Excellent service, it felt like home. Thanks to Matteo and the girls at the reception and thanks to the waiters. A special mention to Emmanuel, our waiter, and to the pasta girl who wears the glasses. Guys like these are what a hotel needs. Nice animation team as well, E20. Highly recommended.
