Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Die Lage des Hotels ist hoch oben über dem Rhonetal und dadurch sehr ruhig und mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeberin war sehr aufmerksam und nett. Alles hier ist sehr familiär und man fühlt sich hier wie zu Hause. Das B&B verfügt über einen Innen-Swimmingpool sowie eine Sauna und einen Whirlpool im Freien. Es gibt viele Spiele die man nutzen kann zB Boccia oder einen Tischtennistisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet war der Hammer. Wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt in dieser Unterkunft und werden sicherlich wieder hier übernachten. Mitunter war "De Blockhut" eine der besten Unterkünfte in denen wir bislang übernachtet haben

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im B&B De Blockhut Hotel und können es von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Unser Zimmer ist rustikal und liebevoll eingerichtet. Uns hat der gemütliche Aussenbereich mit Liegestühlen und einem kleinen Tisch für zwei Personen auch gefallen. Die Aussicht auf die Berge ist einfach atemberaubend – der perfekte Ort, um die Ruhe zu geniessen und sich zu erholen. Das Frühstück war herzhaft und ausgesprochen lecker. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an Fiona. Sie hat uns herzlich empfangen und sich während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts mit viel Aufmerksamkeit und Leidenschaft um unser Wohl gekümmert. Sogar eine Trennwand hat sie organisiert, damit wir unseren Aussenbereich noch ungestörter geniessen konnten. Als schöne Überraschung gab es zum 1. August eine Flasche Weisswein und auch bei unserer vorzeitigen Abreise verabschiedete sie uns mit einer kleinen Aufmerksamkeit. Diese herzliche Gastfreundschaft hat uns sehr berührt. Der Innenpool sorgt für eine angenehme Erfrischung und der Jacuzzi lädt zum Entspannen ein. Insgesamt ist das Hotel ein wunderschöner, ruhiger Ort, an dem man wunderbar abschalten und neue Energie tanken kann. Vielen Dank an Fiona für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses Hotel jedem wärmstens empfehlen!

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026Unser Aufenthalt im Blockhut war wunderschön. Wir suchten die Ruhe und fanden sie. Wir wurden von Fiona herzlich empfangen und sie verwöhnte uns jeden Morgen mit einem super Frühstück. Fionas Restauranttipps waren ebenfalls genial. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Gruss Monika und Rolf
Gefallen hat uns alles. Nur das Navi führte uns durch einen schmalen Weg hoch zur Strasse, wo dann auch eine Verbotstafel stand und uns zum Umkehren zwang. Vielleicht wären die Gäste über einen kleinen Hinweis dankbar.

Des paysages magnifiques qu’on ne se lasse pas d’admirer depuis les terrasses et le jardin, où sauna et jacuzzi permettent des temps suspendus. Le chalet entièrement en bois, si accueillant et chaleureusement décoré. Et surtout les petites attentions de Fiona, discrète mais présente pour tout besoin, qui nous a accueillis et chouchoutés. Le petit déjeuner est fantastique. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir à De Blockut, la prochaine fois avec les enfants qui adoreront la piscine intérieure !

Die Unterkunft hat grosszügig bemessene Aufenthaltsräume und man darf die Küche benützen. Vom Zimmer und dem Balkon ist die Aussicht auf das Rhonetal und den Gegenhang prächtig. Das Hallenbad und die schöne Sauna haben wir nicht benützt, da das Wetter zu heiss war.
Das Lavabo war zu hoch montiert.

Le matelas est un peu dure mais c’est personnelle selon notre confort.

Great for families who want to be able to cook for themselves in the evening after being out during the day, as we had access to the kitchen. Christmas décor is fab. Views from the hot tub are fabulous. Can’t wait to go again.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful at all times. Great value for money — definitely highly recommended accommodation.
Unfortunately, there is no restaurant at the facility for a quick lunch or dinner. Also, WLAN was not working in our room.
