The bedroom contains only basic furniture, and the window does not open fully, making it difficult to sleep during hot weather. The washroom floor becomes wet when you shower, and there is no floor mat provided. The bedding is also basic, and the bed was left unmade.

Breakfast included but struggled to cater for gluten free/dairy free. despite having a section laid out there was normally a sparse amount of food that went quickly. They also had accidentally put some things with gluten in that section one day.

Malgré une réservation faite plusieurs mois avant, la chambre ne correspondait pas à la réservation en termes de couchage, sans possibilité d'avoir une autre chambre. Nous avons obtenu une réduction de 25%. De surcroît, les lits n'étaient pas faits ce qui n'était pas indiqué sur le site internet. Il a donc fallu les faire à 9h du soir. Enfin les signes ostensibles de religiosité dans la chambre étaient un peu dérangeants.

Wij hadden een familiekamer geboekt en kregen 2 stapelbedden wat niet heel comfortabel lag. De badkamer was ook vrij sober.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2025Sehr nette junge Mädels die das Gästehaus gut im Griff haben. Die Lage am See ist wirklich toll und idyllisch. Im Gästehaus selbst ist alles da was man braucht - Küchenecke, Waschmaschine mit Trockenraum und einen Aktivitätsraum mit Tischtennisplatte und co. Es gab kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus. Das Frühstück ist völlig ok - mit Waffeleisen konnte man sich selber Waffeln machen. :-) Von unseren Zimmer aus hatten wir einen herrlichen Blick auf den See. Wir haben uns hier rundum wohl gefühlt.
Unser Zimmer hatte eher Ferienlager -Charme und das Badezimmer könnte auch mal überholt werden. Es war aber alles sauber und zweckmäßig, sodass uns das nicht weiter gestört hat. Wir würden diese Unterkunft trotzdem weiterempfehlen.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2025Chambre spacieuse avec belle vue sur le fjord, très calme. Buffet petit déjeuner tout à fait correct.
Pas de restaurant à proximité (ce qui est bien annoncé) et la cuisine commune est rudimentaire (peu d'assiettes, couverts ?) et peu accueillante, que pour y cuisiner, pas pour y manger. Nous avons testé le snack le plus proche (à la station essence) que nous déconseillons, mieux vaut pousser vers Gaupne et Sogndal qui ne sont pas si loin.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2025The room was nice, and the breakfat (included) was good. Staff, all young girls, were smiling and pleasant. However, when we asked to see the kitchen for guests, they only showed us a mini one with a microwave, not the larger one with 2 stoves that allowed us to cook our dinner. We found it on our own, and yet it was clearly marked as available for all guests.
We arrived to find prominently posted signs that no alcohol was allowed on the premises due to their religious beliefs. This was not apparent when we booked, nor is it mentioned on their website. Along with that were bible scripture plaques on the walls, an on-site chapel, and bibles in each room.

Povlečení - udělej si sám. Malá TV by byla fajn.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2025This is for sure the best hotel we have stayed in Norway. Amazing lake view room with fresh air ventilation system, always smiling staff, nice entertainment room to play ping pong, table football, etc. There are also many choices for breakfast. You can also make your own waffle!

Reviewed Aug 5, 2025Очень клиентов ориентированные ребята! Мы не успевали заехать до 22:00 и администратор любезно оставила ключ от номера на полочке на ресепшен. Хороший завтрак, даже есть вафельница и тесто, можно самому сделать вафли.
Очень простые кровати, не совсем удобный матрац, но мы были 2 ночи и это терпимо.

Habitación muy justa para 3 personas. No pudimos bañarnos porque nos avisaron de que debido a las altas temperaturas en el lago había una especie de parásito que aunque no era peligroso podía hacer q te salieran rojeces y picores por todo el cuerpo.

Credo che sia inaccettabile proporre una camera per tre adulti con un letto piccolo ed un letto a castello. La camera era polverosa e di piccole dimensioni. Ragni in bagno e sui muri. La colazione scadente. In più scoprire di aver finanziato una comunità religiosa. Insomma credo che dovremmo essere rimborsati per un pessimo servizio alberghiero. Chiedo a Booking di essere contattato.

Il y a une salle de jeux ( babyfoot, air hockey, ping-pong) et une salle de sport, plusieurs petits salons pour se poser. Petite cuisine équipée pour se préparer à manger et des frigos/ congélateur pour stocker sa nourriture. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet est complet et très bon. La vue sur le lac est très jolie.

Reviewed Jul 31, 2025The lake & mountain view of our room is excellent and we are glad to find furnitures on the terrace as well. The breakfast is also of good variety and quality: especially, guests have the opportunity to make Waffles by themselves!
Parking slots are limited. Room is very small and we have to leave all but one bag in the car.

Of course, it is a guest house and our room was equipped with simple bunk beds. But it was very nice stay for us as a family.

De keuken was wat klein met maar weinig pannen.
