Macs Townhouse Dungarvan

We really enjoyed the stay in dungarven, the location was walking distance to all shops, bars and restaurants. The Fan in thr room was a great help as the weather was very warm.

Location was good. Easy access with great instructions for door codes. Friendly owners.

The sheets and towels were very fragrant as if someone used highly scented washing soap and or dryer sheets. We mentioned this to the owners who apologized for the laundry service.

The Appartment was lovely.

I wasn't aware when I booked it that there was a Night Club right behind us. It was very noisy. The stairs in the Appt. were very steep not suitable for small children.

Central location in the town of Dungarvan. Apt. #6 in this house has a good SE aspect, with morning light and a good view.

The photo above is v misleading. For excess of €200 for an overnight at least there could be milk to make a cup of tea besides having to leg it to a shop. Room was v cold.

Die Lage war sehr gut. Das Apartment ist stylisch und hochwertig eingerichtet. Der Check-in/Check-out war unkompliziert.

Die Wohnung ist hochgradig platzoptimiert und damit sehr klein - vor allem für den Preis. Z.B. das Waschbecken im "Bad" ist handflächengroß. Kein Platz für Utensilien. Neben das Klo passt kein Toilettenpapierhalter hin. Keine Schränke. Nur ein Küchenmesser. Spülbecken so klein, dass Teller nicht reinpassen. Wenig Stellfläche neben der Spüle. Esstisch ist ca 1x1 m. Sehr hellhörig. Nebenan ist ein Pub, dessen Lärm bis tief in die Nacht hörbar ist. Verdunklung schwierig.

The location is fantastic right at the greenway and minutes walk to the centre of Dungarvan. It is a very clean apartment with shower/shampoo provided. The bed is comfortable also.

10 o'clock checkout is a little unreasonable especially if your sleep is a bit disturbed in a lively area. This was not the case for us but it does add pressure to leave.

The accommodation was very good, clean and had everything I needed. The access key system was great. It was central allowing me to walk to the town centre and also walk the Greenway which is very close to the property.

Unfortunately there is a pub close to the property which had a noisy beer garden that was open until after 2am on Saturday night.

Cosy,comfy,everything we needed and nothing more,despite being on a busy street traffic noise was minimal,great location for anyone looking to hike in the Comeraghs

Parking was a bit awkward at times

Easy to access, clean, comfortable and convenient.

The only negative comment is that it would benefit from having a slightly larger sink and perhaps an extra shelf maybe above the toilet in the bathroom.

Clean and well decorated. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

The cleaner was extremely rude and I really hope nobody else has to deal with her during their stay

Modern finish and facilities, food location

Very early check out and cleaning staff started at 0830 so was awakened by them a little too early for a holiday.

Loved the innovative entry lock and the interior and room were very pleasant

Was a bit pricey for 1 night without breakfast offering, and there are other cheaper B&B's in the area but maybe as I booked last minute.

Not very comfy - more soft furnishings needed. Sofa was hard and rigid.

The location was great, just across the bridge from the town centre, the room was clean and had a coffee machine/kettle/wine glasses etc. I liked the door codes - easy check in and no remembering keys etc. The host texted lots of info about places to eat etc

There is an adjacent nightclub which is incredibly loud (we stayed on a Saturday night) so definitely be aware of this. The 10.30am check out time is also far too early.

Close to town but I still parked my car outside property in disabled space , handy downstairs flat so no problems . No staff as such all online with contact if required. Busy traffic but from bedroom quite good as it would wake me easy but great sleep . Touring from here also to Waterford and Youghal and Tramore east beach ⛱️ . Only had 2 wet days which is good compared to Donegal possibly 5 of 7 . Great place would go back Yes

Misleading advertising, it is not an apartment, it was a small studio. Staff coming in at 9.45am banging doors an making it very clear they wanted us out even before the 10.30am checkout time.

The furnishings were really quality items and the place was done to a high standard. The location was excellent, close to shops and restaurants. There was free car parking outside on the road which was easy to access.

Unfortunately, it was the shower was a bit cramped and it had a shower curtain.

Our compliments to the townhouse. Our 2 room appartment was clean, nice and cozy with plenty of room. The apartment was perfectly appointed and nicely furnished. with all the comforts of home The shower was a good experience. Overall it made for a very pleasant stay Fantastic host. Cannot wait to visit again. Lily the host couldn't do enough for us. Cannot recommend enough. Ideal accommodation for family trips. Well located within walking distance of Dungarvan centre.

I don't recommend it, the backyard barbecue area was very dirty, we asked for it to be cleaned and the cleaning staff treated us and demanded that we clean it, I've never been treated so badly before, I'm a rude person

LExceptionally high standards in our 2 bedroom apt. Everything we needed was there. Spotless and very comfy. 5 min walk to town centre. Pity we were only staying the 2 nights. Want to return. Thank you Lily 😊

Bright, spacious and all very new. The owners were fantastic and very communicative. Furnishings were lovely. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of space for four. Excellent location for what we needed.

The shower was a little broken in terms of if you turned the water on in the kitchen it turned off and the bracket that held the shower was broken meaning the head kept moving. It certainly wouldn’t put us off going there again though.

The location was excellent, penthouse apartment was superb, great communication with the host and the lovely cleaning ladies, always so chatty and helpful.

The apartment we stayed in was beautiful- tastefully decorated and well laid out. The kitchen is well equipped and it was nice to have a nespresso machine for our morning coffee. The window seats are lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Smart tvs with access to netflix etc was also a big plus for us. Location wise it is perfect- we hired bikes- and the shop was right beside us. The main streets of the town are just a short walk away too. Check in was easy with clear communication from the host by text.

I think the check out time is far too early, the standard check out time in Ireland in my experience is 12 or 12.30. The cleaner lady who arrived shortly after 10 wasn't the friendliest let's just say. We felt rushed as she waited for us to leave- not so much as a hello or how was your stay, she was only concerned about when we were leaving and asked us this multiple times as we were bringing out our luggage to my car?! I could understand her being frosty if we were late checking out but we checked out on time. It just wasn't a good way to end our trip which otherwise was great.

The apartment is fully renovated and nicely decorated. It's well equipped with everything you need. There are some basic cooking ingredients like oil, salt, etc. They even left some water bottles for us. Despite being by the road, it's fairly quiet. I'm pretty sensitive to noise, and it wasn't an issue here. The bed is large and comfy, and so are the pillows. There were two towels per person (a big one and a medium one) as well as a small shampoo and gel. Small details that make a difference!

It's hard to find the right spot for the shower temperature. It was either too cold or too hot. The bathroom doesn't have surfaces to put your stuff on. Also, the light and fan turn on with a movement sensor. It takes a while to switch off, which can be a bit annoying, but no big deal. On the day of our departure, one of the cleaning ladies came to check if we were checking out 50 min before check-out time. She wasn't rude, but it made us feel like they wanted us to leave asap.

Lovely stay, conveniently located and tastefully decorated. Special mention for the lady we bumped in to when we were leaving, who was cleaning the apartments. She was exceptionally kind, and brightened our morning. We will be back.

I was a little confused by the descriptions of the rooms on booking.com. I feel that this could be clearer.

Fab property, great location. Self service no interaction just get on with the stay. Locking system was great no hassle with keys.

Clean and comfortable. Well situated near the centre of town. Shops close to accommodation. Would definitely recommend.

Parking and a little noisy on the street side. The bathroom is a little uncomfortable and I personally just hate shower curtains.

I had a room at the back which was away from the busy road. The accommodation was central.

The first two nights were quiet. On the third there was a very loud party in one of the other apartments with loud music, shouting, obscenities and bad singing. This is the disadvantage of being in a property with no reception. There was no milk for tea. The mattress was lumpy. Lack of personal touch made it just a very average experience.

Dirty facecloth in bathroom on arrival (behind the clean towel hanging up). Some cups in cupboard were dirty. Covers on bed too light for time of year. Strange holder hanging up in shower. Looked like something a cleaner would use to carry around their cleaning supplies. Also the cleaner was hovering outside the room from 10 am. Made us feel uncomfortable even though checkout wasn’t till 10.30.

Cleaners were pretty loud very early on Sunday and the check out time is 1030 which is not really heard of in Ireland
