Hostel NIX

GRAX VOLVERE SIEMPRE

Hostellin omistaja oli hyvin avulias. Mukavat yhteiset tilat ja suuri yhteinen keittiö.

Big kitchen

No keys for the bathrooms. You can’t lock it. The owner was watching p*** out loud in the entrance room during the day, when most people are out.

The dormitory and the kitchen were clean and generally the place is a good deal for the price. The hostel is well connected too, because a nearby bus stop is served by a lot of bus lines.

It wasn't possible to use the on site washing machine.

Super clean, host is excellent. Kitchen is always clean, rooms are good for the price

Muy limpia y ordenada

Clean

Host was grumpy

Nice, communal hostel. Solid bunks in shared room with access to kitchen and common areas indoor and outdoor

Excelente atendimento, Raul super simpático!!

Travesseiro e colchão poderiam ser melhores

Precio barato, limpieza correcta.

Relatively okay place, Raul is very nice and welcoming and happy to give advice and travel recommendations. Location is good and close to everything you need like supermarkets and so on.

Beds are missing a side bar to not fall down specially from the top beds, can be a little dangerous if you are a person who moves while sleeping. The bathroom was really disgusting and dirty, curtains falls down as it's broken from the tube hook. During my whole stay there was a wet and dirty towel next to the toilet that never got cleaned or removed. Bad smells also from the bathroom.

Passei 8 dias no hostel e achei o lugar impecável!!

Nada. Voltaria a me hospedar com certeza!

VERY comfortable hostel, great bed, strong heater, ensuite bathroom with hot showers, free towels to use. Beautiful big kitchen, gorgeous wooden accents everywhere. Friendly owner too! No complaints.

I guess it could be closer to the center? But it was maybe a 15 minute walk there, no big deal.

Muy amplia la habitación, buena ubicación!

Limpeza

Nada

Sadly, I completely failed to take any photos. Before arriving there was good messaging for communication. They shared tips with me about using the local bus 🚌 to visit Cerro Campanario mountain ⛰️ which was MUCH less expensive than a tour price. Payment is made by cash or bank transfer only, so be prepared 💸. As someone from the USA, getting cash in Argentina 🇦🇷 has been very difficult and expensive. I slept here just one partial night 🌙 due to an early morning flight ✈️, so I didn't use the kitchen or common areas at all. They both looked nice and comfortable. The location is good for many reasons. It is a longer walk down to the main area, but not terrible. I will recommend this as an option for people traveling behind me.

All the rooms are you two flights of stairs 📶. My situation is different, so I had a very large, heavy suitcase. The manager was kind and carried it up for me, but I had to get it back down at 5am. As a basic hostel, there was a supply of towels which was nice. No soap or shampoo in the bathroom.

The location is 1.6 km from the pier in Central Bariloche and 2 km from the bus terminal. It is a bit uphill in a quiet area of town. There is a Carrefour supermarket nearby. Facilities such as the hot shower and the beds are good. Wifi is a bit slow in the room. The kitchen area is spacious and very suitable for cooking and having a meal. The hostel is usually quiet. Guests are a pleasant mix of Argentinians and Western travellers. The manager is strict, but reasonable and an okay man.

Opening and closing the doors of and in the room is causing noise because of friction. It means you wake up whenever someone is using the bathroom or comes in or goes out. Noise in the lobby area travels up the staircase (sitting area and rooms). However, these are minor issues. Stayed 10 days!

Everything was perfect! The location is great, it's clean, calm, and Raul is the best host. He is really helpulf and very nice 😁 We recommend this place a 100%!

Big rooms, solid bunk beds. Big functional kitchen. Decent walking distance to downtown attractions

Black mould on the shower curtain and ceiling of the bathroom.

It did the job. The room was an ok size a bit smaller than we thought. Kitchen was a good size and outdoor space really nice to chill in the sun in.

Location is a bit further from the main parts of town.

Raul was amazing and so accommodating. I absolutely loved the place plus I made new friends as well. Overall, had an awesome time.

Nothing, everything was great.

We were greeted nicely upon arrival and the communal areas looked very nice with a well-equipped kitchen and space to relax

Our private room felt a bit run-down. It was lacking basic things like soap and a hand towel for the bathroom sink. The duvets looked at though they should have a cover over them

Convenient location

Bathroom musty

No plugs and no place to put stuff on the upper beds

The hostel has a good position. Possible to pay by card at the property. Warm water.

Not clean (blankets, bathroom, fridge). A small room with bunk beds with no space to put a few things, or dry a wet towel. Doable to stay for a night, but not a pleasant place to stay for a rest day - at least when we compare it to other hostels we stayed in Argentina for the same or lower price.

The kitchen had everything you needed but not enough space to move around. Be aware that you constantly need to ask someone to move. There were enough common areas - kitchen, outdoor and a couch area inside.

The owner gave me a strange vibe - that kind of Argentinian who isn't happy to have a non-spanish speaking customer. I asked him twice to extend and he refused it until I told him to do it on booking.com. He also barely smiles which gives customers a feeling of not being welcome. The room was tiny, the lockers underneath the bed weren't suitable for big luggage and the room door didn't close properly.

Big kitchen with full of equipment Clean environment Good value of money

Little far from city centre, but just 15 mins walk only

Big kitchen with full of equipment Clean environment Good value of money

Little distance from city centre but just 15mins walk

i was told no room when i checked in

The host is very friendly. The kitchen was well equipped and the common area is comfortable.

It was a last minute cheap booking so we weren't expecting much. The location is pretty far from the town. The dorm room first smelled strongly of bleach, and then later smelled very badly, like a sewer, from the bathroom. It was also very cold, the blankets were stained, and the lockers wouldn't fit our bags, which are only 40 litres, or carry on luggage for a plane.

The room is not small the bathroom is good. The kitchen is well equipped and pretty big. The beds are pretty good. Price is pretty cheap

The walls don't have great sounds proof and you can hear everything going around outside. The check-in desk is closed all night.

The location was great, the room was clean and warm with a little heater. The shower was hot and probably the best we have experienced in South America. Raul was a kind and friendly host who went out of his way to help us. The kitchen was large and well equipped. It was an excellent stay, we would definitely stay again.

It was fine for us but I wouldn't say it was a social hostel.

cleanliness, spacious kitchen, additional bathroom

the blanket was dirty and downy, I'm allergic to down, the pillow was too flat, there were no shelves in the bathroom, and there was no socket near the bed either. cleaning every day is good, but why touch my bed and throw my things in the drawer, the drawer does not have a lock, like almost all the doors, the doors squeak. I specifically looked for a room only for women, then it’s not clear why a man spent the night in the room

Amazing place, clean, spacious kitchen, close to the center and very attentive staff. I would stay there again.

Don't know they would not let me in.

I arrived at the hostel at 22h30 after a full day bus. When I arrived, I was told I couldn't stay there because I was a man and the whole place was booked by a women group. I know there was a gathering in town and things were a bit crazy and overbooking can occur. It was the way I was turned around that bothered me: Door partly open, man: "hello, the whole place is booked." Me: "But I have a reservation...", man: It's impossible for you to stay here, you are a man". Closes the door. I would just have liked a little help or direction to a place that might have space.

Raúl is really great with all of his guests. He has developed a comfortable hostel with a large well-equipped kitchen, nice lounges, good Wi-Fi, comfortable beds and hot showers! What’s not to love!

I very much enjoyed my stay. manager very helpful& friendly.

nothing it was great

Very nice sitting area inside and outside. Rooms are clean and the stuff is very helpful and friendly.

The location was not bad . Twenty minutes walking to get to the Mitre Street

Bathroom very old The soap to wash the dish was very weak The dishwashing spounge was awful and old The reception man was very not very smiling

The calm, the atmosphere and conviviality, the kitchen and patio 🤩 The presence and kindness of Raul, the owner ✨🙏🏻

NA

nice location and communal area man on reception helpful

bed sheets were dirty overall room and bathroom unclean

Big kitchen, good wifi, room with only 3 other guests, lockers available, helpful older guy :-)
