Reviewed May 12, 2026Nice host speaks english. Price is very affordable. Great location for sightseeing. You're unlikely to visit Buyeo for more than a day or spend a lot of time inside the hotel, the place fits perfectly.
The place is fine, just don't expect a Hilton.

Reviewed Nov 6, 2025Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber sauber und günstig gelegen. Die Dame, die uns empfangen hat sprach Englisch, konnte gute Tipps geben und unsere Koffer vor Check-In in Empfang nehmen, so dass wir genug Zeit für Besichtigungen hatten.
WC mit Dusche ist ein bisschen eng und nicht getrennt. Das Zimmer war relativ klein und es gibt keinen Schrank. Immerhin eine Garderobe.

While the price is not particularly high, it remains overpriced for what is basically a simple bed in a small unfurnished room. You can get a lot better in South Korea for this price.

The main problem was finding the place. Booking.com only provided the name in English, while the hotel only has signs in Hangul. The map provided is also not accurate enough.

Reviewed Oct 24, 2024The location was very convenient in terms of its proximity to the bus station, a grocery store, numerous restaurants and some of the historical sites I came to Buyeo to visit. The owner was kind enough to let me drop off my luggage prior to the check-in time so that I could go exploring right away. She also lent me an umbrella, when I couldn’t find me, as well as a lamp to put next to my bed and some slippers. I truly appreciated her kindness! I was also very impressed by her English.
When I arrived she offered me a choice of rooms - either on the ground floor or the third floor. I chose the first floor, however, I probably would have chosen the third had I realized that other guests would be so noisy when they went past my door late at night. Admittedly, the disturbance only lasted a short time each night, for which I was grateful.

Reviewed Sep 24, 2024The location was within the town so it was close to the high street, restaurants and cafés and a short walk from the intercity bus terminal. It was located off of the main road so it was quiet. The room was clean and toiletries and towels were provided in the bathroom. The bed was also fairly comfortable and there was aircon in the room. The host was very friendly and helpful. She also spoke English very well.
The room was very basic and the furnishings and facilities were quite old so if you're used to more modern and comfortable accommodation this might be a little difficult to get used to.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2024Location was OK, we could reach remarkable sites on foot. The size of the room was very good, there was a double bed plus a decket bed with 2 places and space for a table and chairs.
The structure is really very old with many "sings of times" on furniture, corridor and stairs. There is no lift so you need to carry the bags to upper floors by stairs. The bathroom has a shower in the same space as all the bathroom (no separation) so everything gets wet when you take a shower. No big shower was provided, only hand towels. The mattresses were really hard The sheets of the bed had stains and generally there was not the impression of much cleanness.

The building and equipment are a bit old so it reduces the room comfort and it makes the price a bit high compared to the quality.

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. The worst part was the bed that scratched every time I moved a little and was hard as a rock. The room and hotel are old, no elevator, we arrived late and left early so I didn’t mind much the lack of facilities, and it looks like they try but the bed in the family room need to be thrown to the trash. The bank bed bed was really bad as well.

Reviewed Nov 27, 2023I enjoyed my stay in Buyeo. The motel exceeded my expectations. It was clean and quiet. I loved the heated floor and the little dining table. I wasn't cold and it wasn't necessary to use the heating blanket. The motel is located close to the bus terminal and close to the historic part of the city. The lady who manages the motel was very friendly and speaks fluent English. She helped with the luggage and answered my questions regarding transport. The motel has pamphlets at the entrance with a map of Buyeo and information about what to do and what to eat. It was very useful. I recomend to try the steamed rice wrapped in a lotus leaf and yeonip tea (lotus tea). If you want to travel to a quiet place with some history, I recommend Buyeo.
Everything was good for me. Nothing bad to say.

The township Buyeo lacks any charm unfortunately.

The price was different and had to deal with cockroaches all night. I paid for a room with 2 junior beds and tons of cockroaches around beds nearly 80,000 KRW which is far from the exhibited price. Barely slept. On top of that, Booking.com customer service regarding this matter was far from my needs. If it was too late night and had no kid with me, I would have never slept at such a place.

Reviewed May 14, 2023Healinhouse is walking distance to the museum and other local attractions, so the location is superb. The room was quiet and very clean. The owner speaks English, and she had left maps and brochures in the room for our convenience. I also liked having a convenience store at the end of the street.
The only thing I didn't like was the burning of incense at the entrance. The Great Gilt-bronze Incense Burner is such a significant piece of local history, and I love the smell of incense, but this gave me terrible allergies. Other than this, I highly recommend healing house.
