MEANDER Saigon

Loved the voucher and partner restaurant system. Liked mingling a bit with other guests in the lobby kitchen. The unique things like the co-working space and the slide (my hubby and I actually slid down) made our trip more memorable. The very central location allowed us to walk to Book Street and Ben Thanh. The neighborhood itself has a lot of choices just behind us - a lovely Every Half Cafe, the 7Bridges craft beer place. Also discovered Heart of Darkness and a really lovely resto One River along the road from Meander.

I didn't expect a dorm stay to be this comfortable, but the property does meet all your expectations... Would recommend it to every solo traveller.

Very good value for money, a hostel that feels a bit more luxurious. The beds were so comfortable, slept 11 hours on my first night! It was very quiet as well inside the dorm and the air conditioning was much appreciated. Staff was also full of recommendations for the city.

Isn't located on the main touristy strip - I knew it when I booked it so its not really and issue, but I ended up taking many grab rides to and from the benh tan area. Is not a social hostel at all - i didn't meet anyone at all my entire stay.

The property has a minimalist design. The bed is comfortable and has ample room in storing your things in addition to your assigned locker.

The Wi-Fi connection keeps on disconnecting when inside the room. We hope that improving the connection by adding more access points and SSIDs on each floor.

Clean and convenient… very near cafes, spa and restaurants.

Staff were very helpful, accommodation & amenities were exceptionally clean.

Location convenient and we arrived in the morning long before check in and they were so accommodating. Letting us have showers, hair dryer, hair straightener, it was just so good We also liked the breakfast vouchers

Great location in District 1 close to everything. Loved the friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for a weekend get away

Room was clean and has everything, it was amazing. The staff was nice and very helpful, and the location was prime.

老实说这一次入住原超我的预期，免费 Wifi 还有每天帮我清理整理房间的服务，尤其是地点很好附近超级多东西吃，还有对面拐角处有一间超级棒的 Cafe，晚上闲时可以去那边坐着喝上一杯咖啡，看看街上的车，也是一种享受。对了！晚上房间很安静，没有隔壁的讲话声音，不需要耳塞。所以，整体来说是一个很舒服的入住体验，会再次入住这里。

也没有什么不满意eh，硬要说的话就是洗衣服务吧，洗衣服务需要等待半天或者是一天的时间，有点难办。因为，提早一天洗衣服的话，回去还是会有衣服需要清洗，如果可以当下洗衣服当下拿就好了。

Great location near other nice hotels and walking distance to Japantown. Extremely neat and clean, from the lobby to the hallways to the rooms themselves. Double twin room with loft-style bunkbeds were surprisingly comfy and had a lot of clever built-in storage. Appreciated the windows that could open to let in fresh air.

Wish there was in-house breakfast options (even just continental style), and that the voucher options were closer to the hotel. Also, the doorknobs for our room's bathroom and shower door were very difficult to open.

L'emplacement était bien et l'établissement est propre.

Les chambres sont très petites et nous avions pris l'option petit déjeuner mais en réalité, il n'y a pas de service à l'hôtel, nous avions des bons à utiliser chez d'autres établissements mais le prix du voucher ne couvrait à peine un café et un croissant. Il fallait rajouter de l'argent.

Would say the location was 7/10 but everything else was underwhelming.

There was a power trip on our floor during the first night, me and the other guest had to go from our room to reception 3-4 times because the power was constantly tripping and there was no other way to communicate with front desk. On booking.com it was said that breakfast would be provided by in reality they only provided vouchers from 4 places called 'foodie' pass.. not necessarily a con but this could have been stated during the booking. Overall the hotel seems to look better in photos.

The morning when i was leaving i saw sa small bug idk what is it called I flicked it immediately coz i got scare but that doesn’t make the hotel and my stay bad its still a goood one!

I loved everything. Staff was helpful, facilities were perfect, ambience was excellent. I was in Vietnam for a business trip but extended my stay for 2 nights. In the first couple of days I was at a well established hotel. Extension for the weekend was in Meander. I didn't feel any difference. That's what I love about Meander. It gives an experience of a high end Hotel but not a hostel. This was a blind booking for me as I didn't know anything about Meander. But I'm recommending it for all travellers who are looking for a peaceful stay in the city. Meander will be the first choice always in Saigon.

The room was good for 2 and not too small. Everything was very clean and they tidy our room daily :)

Mainly location, hotel vibes.

How for a hostel there was no people around, the free flowing beer was poor, and the hotel staff tried to scam us months before our stay by spam sms with links to pay with out booking information.

i love the co-working space, a free voucher for breakfast - we get to try different food in each day, and overall we didnt have any issues in the room.

Its nice they have a common kitchen but for me it will be better if my room has tea, coffee, kettle so I dont have to go out of the room if I feel like having a coffee before I take a shower in the morning or during late night.

Hotel was clean, well managed conveniently located. Lots of things within walking distance, or only a short grab ride away. Co working space is a great facility if you need to work whilst here. Filtered water on every floor is very convenient, definitely beats running to 7/11. Staff were exceptionally helpful. I managed to lose my phone in the city, and the reception staff went out of their way to help me track it down and have it delivered back to the hotel.

Only downside is being so close to little Tokyo might make it not the most family friendly location.

Great location and awesome staff! There are several connivence shops (7-11, family mart etc) nearby and THE must go 4P outlet is just round the back! Also lots of restaurants and massage/spa nearby (highly reco kocochi spa)

The location is top notched and staff are very effective.

The Toilet even in the suite is super cramped.

All space is comfortable and clean

Location and cleanliness were both excellent! It's in a quiet street with plenty of good food options nearby, and only a 10 minute motorbike ride from most of the major tourist attractions in HCMC. The rooms were clean and generally quiet, and I never had to wait for a shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed sliding down in the morning for a coffee in the lobby! Overall, I would definitely stay here again if ever I'm in HCMC.

I think it would be nice to have a full length mirror in the woman's bathroom for a quick fit check before heading out for the day!

Loved everything about our stay at Meander - super friendly staff, clean rooms, fantastic location, not to mention the slide right by the entrance (what better way to start off every day in Ho Chi Minh?). The property and rooms look exactly like what's in the pictures.

I loved everything about this Hostel/Hotel. Everything from the staff and their attention to detail and to how spotlessly clean my room was. The location of this venue is in the center of everything. The mopeds are super quick and cheap so I recommend using them to get around.

The people in the dorm were loud at 1am. Maybe signs reminding people to think about others and be quiet from a certain time would be useful

El staff es muy amable. Los baños compartidos son MUY limpios al igual que las habitaciones. En las habitaciones compartidas, el espacio para guardar maletas es muy amplio, las llaves de seguridad con un muy buen sistema.

El coworking podría llegar a ser más cómodo. Sin embergo, es un lugar donde se puede trabajar sin problema.

Super clean and tidy. Meander has a simple and clean design and everything is kept incredibly tidy.

It felt like I was staying in a hotel than a hostel. Dorms were amazing, super spacious with everything you need and everything in the right place! Bathrooms were always super clean the showers were great with loads of room to change in too! The slide sold it for me and you just have to go down it once at least, lol!! Perfect location, close to everything with great authentic Japanese restaurants close by an added bonus! Great place to stay if want to just chill out with a bit of luxury in a hostel.

Staff were a bit too formal adding to the hotel vibe. Not social at all but that's not its target audience. Slightly over priced in my opinion for the overall package.
