Sehr einfaches, kleines Zimmer unter dem Dach ohne jeglichen Service, eigentlich kein Hotel, noch weniger als B&B. Mobiliar unzureichend, Fernsehen bekamen wir nicht in Gang. Wir haben kein Personal gesehen, keine Zimmerreinigung

The property is advertised as having a double bed but it has two single beds with single quilts that have been pushed together.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026The location was very convenient. Everything was within walking distance, including a supermarket, several restaurants and cafés, and the lake. The nearby nature reserve is definitely worth visiting, and the surrounding area is very well maintained. The accommodation was clean, and the bathroom, although small, was perfectly adequate. Check-in and check-out were easy, with a clear code-based system.
The kitchen is not really suitable for extensive cooking or preparing proper meals. The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. The biggest issue, however, was that the cleaning lady entered the accommodation before the 11:00 check-out time and had already started removing the bedding and towels and cleaning the apartment while we still had the right to use it. This was particularly surprising as she had also briefly entered our room with a key shortly before 10:00 without knocking. The bicycles were also in very poor condition: almost all had flat tires, and the one we eventually decided to use had a seat that kept moving and brakes that did not work properly, which is a serious safety concern.

La falta de personal: en ningún momento tuvimos contacto ni personal ni online con nadie, pese a que hicimos algunas preguntas, nunca nos contestaron. Para llegar a la habitación hay que subir 1 piso de escaleras, no hay ascensor. Las escaleras no estaban muy limpias.

Eine Kleinigkeit: LKWs rangieren am benachbarten Supermarkt, da aber nur morgens und erst ab 8:00 und nicht jeden Tag war das kein Problem.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Jättefint, rymligt, ljust och mysigt rum mitt i centrala delarna. Gillade att det var mycket belysning i rummet. Sänglampor, läslampor och mysig fönsterlampa kändes hemtrevligt. Trevligt bemötande av värden som jag hade telefonkontakt med innan ankomst. Bra och gratis parkering på baksidan av hotellet. Fräscht badrum och supersköna tjocka lyxiga handdukar.
Jag saknade matskedar till yoghurten vi hade med till frukosten men det gick bra att äta med teskedar också 😀 Jag skulle uppskattat en liten handduk till golvet i badrummet så man kunde torkat av efter duschen.

Det var extremt varmt på rummet och det gick ej få ner värmen trots vidöppna fönster och ca 15-16 grader ute på natten. Mest troligt pga att kombinerade kyl-frysen i rummet alstrade väldigt mycket värme, som ett element påslaget på max. Annars i stort sett väldigt nöjd med boendet!

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026I really liked the location of the property. It was in the center of the city close to almost everything such as restaurants, cafes, markets etc
We found it really hard to manage getting the stroller up the stairs because there is no lift and it was a narrow space to go up to the room. I also think that the room could have been cleaner and the crib to have been properly set up before I tried to fix that myself. The room we stayed I think that is too small for a family of 3 so consider to select a bigger room.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Excellent location in Mariefred, within walking distance of the castle and the shopping area. A great living area with dining table and kitchenette, and a comfortable bedroom, very cosy despite the chilly weather outdoors.
The building overlooks the back of the supermarket so you should expect to hear delivery vans coming and going. We didn’t provide a rating for the staff as we didn’t meet anyone - it’s a self-service reception and access is all managed via email. It was very easy, just be sure to follow the instructions to the letter, as the asterisk on the keypad is hard to find in the dark!

Saknade en osthyvel i bestickslådan i rum 5 där vi bodde denna gång. Minns ej om det funnits i de andra rummen vi bott i tidigare, men tycker det ska finnas i samtliga rum.

Reviewed Oct 16, 2025Rent och fint. Bra sängar, ljust och fint. Parkering vid boendet, om fullt, gratis parkering något femtiotals meter längre bort.Det lilla problemet som uppstod vid vår ankomst löstes på et väldigt bra och professionellt sätt. Centralt beläget och lugnt och tyst.
Har inget att klaga på egentligen. Det blir lite ödsligt när det inte finns någon reception.

Anledning till endast 3 stjärnor för service var att det finns ingen reception eller personal på boendet (vilket vi visste om) det behövdes inte heller men svårt att stjärnsätta detta. Vi var helt nöjda med vår vistelse och kommer gärna tillbaka.
