The communication with owners was excellent. Very spacious, thoughtful and clean property. Beautifully finished and furnished. Electric blankets, great linen. Everything you could require was clearly provided.

There was some tlc required on blinds and door had a hole in. The doors are thin so I could hear the noise of the people who came in later in the evening very clearly. It was a wintery night without a heater it was chilly.

Stayed a month ago, and like it so much, booked again. Great quiet location, secure parking.

Nicky and Neil were so welcoming and helpful. We felt at home immediately. Very complete apartment and beautiful garden to hang out. We really recommend this place.

Lovely garden, very welcoming hosts

It was very well located between both oceans. And very close to all the attractions you want to visit in Cape Town and surrounding areas . Neil made some great recommendations on restaurants and other activities and all of them turned out to be outstanding.

That we were only able to stay two days and not longer.

The accommodation was amazing. It’s well located in a quiet area (so if you’re not into the busy tourist spots, this is perfect), about 20 - 30 minutes from most points of interest. If you enjoy wine like we do, this is the place for you—close to several wineries and great restaurants—and it also has all the essentials nearby (shops, supermarket, etc.). The house is very comfortable and well-equipped, ideal for longer stays. Neil and Nicky are super kind and always ready to help. If I fly to Cape Town again, I would definitely stay here.

Very good location. The kitchen was well equipped. The Studio was spacious wih enough light. The garden is beautiful and tranquil.

Freundliche und engagierte Gastgeber. Der schöne Garten und die private, überdachte Terrasse. Die Gastgeber sind engagiert und gut erreichbar.Die Nähe zu Restaurants und Weingüter in Constantia. Die Wohnung ist sauber und alles nötige vorhanden. Wir konnten das Auto in einer sicheren Garage abstellen.

Wer den Vintage Stil mag ist hier genau richtig. Das 2. Schlafzimmer ist sehr klein und dunkel, wir haben deshalb das 3. Bett im Wohnzimmer genutzt. Das Badezimmer zum Hauptschlafzimmer ist sehr klein und die Armaturen ( Brause ) sollte erneuert werden. Waschbecken und Toilette sind eher für Kinder geeignet.

This was the best experience of our trip to South Africa: the care for our comfort, the exquisite studio interior, and the unique recommendations for cultural sites in the region were all perfectly executed by the hosts. I dream of returning again in the future.

Clean and spacious.

I had a great stay at Kaya La Provance. Lovely and peaceful place with a beautiful garden as well as very nice rooms. Neil is a great host easy to communicate with.

Lovely property, very secure with a beautiful outdoor area with wood braai, garden, pool and spa. We stayed at Kaya La Provence overnight on two separate occasions during our time in Cape Town, so were fortunate to experience both rooms. They were both very well appointed, with lovely furnishings, very comfortable beds, well set-up kitchens & bathrooms. We really appreciated the huge sofas & TV's with streaming services all ready to go, great wifi and so many thoughtful touches including coffee pods, milk & shortbread in the kitchen, bathrobes & toiletries in the bathroom and access to an iron & ironing board. Neil was very friendly, made himself available to meet us on arrival & chat about places to visit. We were so pleased to find accommodation of this quality in Plumstead, close to family & also very accessible to Constantia & surrounds; we will definitely be back for subsequent visits. Thank you Neil & Nicky!

Neil & Nicky are excellent hosts, very welcoming, always immediately on hand, yet totally discrete. The cottage is a lovely place to stay. Very clean, all the amenities and comforts you could need, and a great night’s sleep. It has its own private patio with relaxing chairs. The cottage felt very much like a home with constant care and attention, definitely not like a holiday unit. Parking was easy in the secure covered garage. Kaya la Provence is in a lovely quiet safe neighbourhood, yet just a 3 minute walk to cafes and shops, as well as really easy to access and find. Kaya la Provence is a perfect base for a holiday as it’s everything the area has to offer is in all directions from here. We used Uber a lot without any wait time issues, which is much cheaper in SA than elsewhere in the world. We will be back, we are planning it already!

We loved that the property was beautiful inside and out. We stayed in both “The Cottage” and “The Studio” and both exceeded our expectations. Both were clean, the decor was beautiful, there were some great extras like beautifully smelling hand, body soap and lotion. The beds and couches were comfortable. The outside was very serene and a great place to unwind after a long day or made for an inviting morning retreat. The hot showers were great and both units were thoughtfully put together and felt like a great home away from home. Most of all we loved the hosts Neil and Nicky. They were seriously both amazing people and hosts. When we booked they were responsive and thoughtful. You can really tell they went above and beyond to make sure any guests they have are comfortable bc we felt very well set up. Kaya La Provence has our hearts! We love Neil & Nicky! Highly recommended because we will be back here!

There wasnt anything in particular about the property. It would've been great to have the hosts on-site, but they had informed me beforehand they'd be away which I appreciated.

This was truly a home away from home. The hosts welcomed us warmly into the premises. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's tastefully decorated and stunning, and the pools are a cherry on top. The hosts are available whenever needed but give you enough privacy to enjoy your stay. It's close enough to major attractions. I loved everything about this place.

The host, Neil, was super friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to help us sort out a logistical challenge we had with our trip, saying he was "happy to offer solutions to sort out his customer's problems". The property is located in a great location, and we especially loved the beautiful and very useful gardens, pool, and fountains. We would definitely come back here.

This little gem lives up to its promise, 'a home away from home'. The facilities was plenty and the added extras welcome (coffee machine & pods/rusks). It was very private and I appreciated the peace and opportunity to unwind after a busy day. Also being a solo female traveller, I felt very much at ease knowing I am not alone on the property and the safety features gave me a sense of calm. The highlight was the comfy bed and water feature outside my room for added relaxation.

I had an inkling that this would be a special place but I couldn’t have envisioned it fully. Everything about this spot is top notch - you. Can see the attention to detail in everything from the gardens, the pool, the linens, and Neil and Nicky are charming and helpful hosts! It’s location is also perfect to venture out whether into Cape Town or down to the coast. I’d stay again in a second - planning on it!

It felt like a home. Comfy beds, en suite, family bathroom, washing machine, outside area to relax in, a pool, friendly couple, location was great, more relaxed than central cape. They had spices, oil, cling film - all the small things that make such a difference. They love their home and you can tell. Would highly recommend

It really was faultless

Spacious flat that was well equipped and very comfortable. Beautiful garden and peaceful surroundings. Value for money. They were also nice enough to allow me to drop my bags earlier, as my flight arrived before check-in.

No house keeping for an entire week. No one to clean out the small bins provided or to provide a clean towel, as only one towel was provided for an entire week. Also disliked the fact that I had to transfer the rest of the payment myself and that it wasn't handled through booking.com. When travelling for work, any extra admin is a bit of a pain and made invoicing and proof of payment difficult.

Beatiful place, great hosts, clean, stylish, comfortable and peaceful. Ticks all the boxes. Would definitely recommend Kaya La Provence.

It was home from home. Beautiful and cozy and Neil (the host) went out of his way to help us settle in and explained in detail how everything works.

We liked the overall space, it was clean and neat and very cosy. We felt right at home. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a sweet getaway.

We did not know how to operate the stovel. However the host were exceptionally helpful and we could message them for assistance when needed.

More than Generous breakfast! So ideally situated for work and close proximity to just getting around. Lovely setting to enjoy the view of the mountain in well maintained beautiful garden tended to by Nixon.

Location was brilliant -- safe, quiet, and very close to the nearby Pick n Pay. Also was very easy for delivery drivers/riders and ridesharing services to find. It was also nearby the Virgin Active gym, which I visited a couple of times during my time there. Hosts Nicki and Neil were extremely pleasant and welcoming, and even very graciously forgave my faux pas of not being ready to check out by the agreed time --they extended for a couple of hours! Overall it was so pleasant that I totally forgot I wasn't in my own home (maybe that's why I nearly forgot to check out on time). Would do it again in a heartbeat, and would 100% recommend to anyone considering it.

The fur cover on the living room couch needed laundering, and the fridge smelled a teeeny bit funny. Apart from those two tiny niggles, it was amazing and very well thought through. Great appliances, clean everywhere else, and everything I needed was right there. Travel adapters, clothes iron, kettle, etc etc etc -- there was even fresh milk in the fridge and some delicious rusks on the counter. Brilliant!

The look and feel and was very comfortable

The Breakfast option sounded as “included” on booking.com instead you had to pre book with the owner which was not very clear when I made the booking

Nikki, the host, was kind and accommodating with regard to my husband not being too mobile. The accomodation was great and beautifully decorated. I would not recommend The Studio for someone elderly with mobility issues as the bedroom is up a step from the rest of the place. It looks lovely and for anyone else it would be perfect and I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful, cosy place near Constantia. Also short drive to Muizenberg and Houtbay. Lovely garden. Quiet area. Will definitely stay there again.

We could not have wished for a better overnight stay, in a really lovely self-contained flatlet in a convenient, quiet location. Hosts Nicky and Neil are super friendly and helpful. Had a lovely swim in the rock poll which is surrounded by a beautiful courtyard.

I got really impressed with all the effort they put in to the place from the stunning outside area to the features inside the unit; the whole decoration; the appliances, the decor, everything ! I had a lovely stay it was peaceful and relaxing, just what i needed . The owners were very helpful and understanding.i would definitely go back. The bed was so comfortable that i had a good nights rest.

We occupied both units as a family. I loved that the units could be opened up as one very spacious large house, turning into a 3 bed 3 bath unit. Loved the outdoor fire place and beautiful gardens. The secure garages were a bonus. Enjoyed that the 2 bed unit had a dishwasher and washing machine.
