Stayed here as it was close to playa carazallilo

It was extremely hot when I was there (June) and the room had no air conditioning, which was sweltering. Theres not much in the area in terms of restaurants/cafes. I think it was out of season when I was there, the hostel seemed very quiet

so beautiful here! the pool is unreal, the staff are awesome and so friendly, helpful and chill, the hostel cats are the sweetest - we loved it so much here we extended for 4 more nights! the location is great too if you rent a scooter especially, you’re very close to the local market (mercado benito juarez) which makes buying groceries fun and affordable, then cooking in the kitchen is always a vibe! you’re also a 15 minute walk/6 minute scooter ride to Carizalillo beach, a beautiful longboard and beginner friendly surf break with many lounges to chill on all day :)

It is not a party hostel unless you are one of the staff. They do not try to be interactive or friendly. They only talk to each other and lay around all day .

El lugar acoge a demasiada gente y no cuenta con un espacio suficientemente amplio para estar cómodos. Las literas están muy viejas, así que las camas son incómodas. Hay mucho ruido en la noche. El turismo que acogen es en su mayoría jóvenes gringos que no se relacionan con los latinos, hablan sólo en inglés y son irrespetuosos pues no paran su actividad hasta altas horas de la noche.

C'est loin de la mer par rapport à ce qui est ecrit sur booking. Très bruyant. Beaucoup de bruit de chien toutes les nuits ainsi que le bruit de coqs toutes les nuits également.

It is a cute hostel with green and the dorm i was in was soo spacious, never seen that in my travels. The kitchen is spacious too. And the pool was clean. The bed was comfortable too.

It is a party hostel with dorms next to the party area so it’s constant loud music until 12 which I found difficult as I just wanted to chill in the evening and didn’t know where to go apart from in my bed with earphones. Also I didn’t go to the pool as there’s no space around to just lie down and relax.

El lugar es muy bonito, con una piscina en medio y un bar para tomar algo en las noches. El volumen de la música es muy correcto, así que puedes descansar tranquilamente por las noches. La cocina está bien también. Está un poco lejos del centro de la ciudad, y a unos 15/20 minutos andando de la playa más cercana.

Las habitaciones privadas son mas pequeñas de lo que ve en fotos pero bien.

El lugar es súper cálido, su personal es amable y buscan generar actividades de convivencia entre huéspedes. La cama y habitación es cómoda.

La privacidad del baño ya que solo tiene cortinas.

La struttura è molto carina, noi abbiamo preso la casa con la cucina, da rivedere l’attrezzatura della cucina soprattutto le pentole. La doccia ha una sola manopola, non è calda e il getto è un po scarso ma comunque visto il caldo non è stato un problema.

A really social hostel but also very chill vibes and quiet at night. Really cool people here. Shout out to Georgia on the bar keeping the party fun! The hiking trip with Erik was incredible. Thanks for an awesome stay.

I loved the pool and the place. Everyone was so friendly and honestly loved how you can socialize or keep to yourself without any judgement, I like to stay in my bubble so I felt comfortable every second during my stay.

It would've fantastic if the staff that does the bathroom cleaning would at least knock before coming in, there were so many times that a man would come in the room to clean without warning or knocking, didn't say anything since I thought it wasn't a big deal but the other girls did mentioned it too.

The whole atmosphere of the place, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property has a big luggage storage room which is great if you have a later flight.

El personal del check in, se ve que son voluntarios, hubo muchas preguntas que no supo responder, no hay claridad en instrucciones. La habitación es muy caliente, las camas y almohadas incómodas.

The staff is so friendly, the facilities are clean and always taken care of and they thought about everything considering your comfortable stay and having a good time in the hostel and in the area as well. They give you tips for activities in the area, they organise a lot of events in the hostel and around the area. They are trying to maintain a comunity, not just a place to stay overnight. We ended up extending our atay just because of all theae factors!

La piscina

La ubicación, siento que las referencias de booking en cuanto a la ubicación, no correspondían en lo absoluto. Con mi amiga, nos sentimos un poquito engañadas, de hecho, nos fuimos antes.

Mon séjour dans cet hostel n’était à la base pas prévu ! Je n’avais nul part au dormir, en arrivant j’ai reçu un accueil chaleureux et les volontaires sont directement venu discuter avec moi. On s’y sent comme chez soi. J’y ai rencontré de super personnes et les activités diverses n’ont fait que renforcés ces liens. Je repars de mon séjour avec de merveilleux souvenirs et avec l’idée que rien n’est impossible car j’y ai créé de vrai relations. Merci à toute l’équipe !

Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war sehr nah am Flughafen. Und die Ausstattung war sehr gut.

L’établissement était propice aux rencontres, tant par sa forme que par les activités proposés. Par ailleurs le personnel y contribue à merveille également. Merci à Melina et à Emma qui ont rendu mon séjour superbe ! Je recommande !

Not sure why it gets so many positive responses. Maybe because these are young dorm stayers who praise it. It has a pool after all...and it's cheap.

In my case, I didn't book a dorm but a private room, and it was completely unsatisfied. Glass windows (and curtains) instead of walls, which makes your room an aquarium. It gets very hot there but with no AC available, all you can do is turn the fan on. The key was distorted and it's not easy to open or lock the crooked lock. I was bummed but accepted that this is what you get for such a cheap rate, but then found out that there are no hot water in the shared shower (at least after midnight) and the wifi is super slow to non-existent so I really didn't have anything to do at night other than joining the youngsters horrendous karaoke by the pool (I love karaoke).

Really nice space with huge pool, good kitchen and lots of chill out space. Unfortunately only stayed one night so didn’t get to enjoy the facilities as much as o would’ve liked. Staff were all lovely and friendly. Stayed in a private room, which was surprisingly spacious and had a small lounge area, as well as terrace (with hammock and chairs). The bed was huge and really comfortable and was set back from the communal hostel space ao was very quiet. Hostel is on a quiet side street ao literally no noise from the street except roosters crowing in the morning!

The room was very hot and stuffy and the fan did little to help. I think layout/size of room makes it difficult to ventilate. While we loved having an en-suite, rhe toilet and shower were only separated from the room by a wall and a curtain, so hopefully you know your roommate well! Location felt a bit far from amenities

La piscina estaba bien, situado cerca de playas a las que podías ir andando y buena comunicación con ellos

La habitación olía bastante a polvo y había escalones por todas partes lo cual la hacía un poco incómoda. Ventiladores grandes que refrescaban sutilmente el ambiente pero sonaban como un avión. Si es para un día no está mal.

Todo el staff fue muy amable con nosotros, nos dieron buenas recomendaciones de a dónde ir y cómo movilizarnos El ambiente dentro de hotel muy relajado y tranquilo, tiene una piscina amplia y bonita

Las habitaciones me parecieron pequeñas en extremo, pero estaban limpias.

On a adoré cette hostel. Le staff est vraiment adorable et des activités sont prévues tous les jours. La piscine au centre de l'hostel est vraiment agréable pour se rafraîchir et rencontrer du monde. Il est à 20 minutes à pied de la première plage et à 10 minutes du terminal des collectivos. Pratique pour se rendre du côté de Zicatela. Nous avons étendu notre séjour directement avec Moni et elle a été agréable et réactive. Un vrai plaisir ! Il y a également la possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner grâce à Omar qui cuisine chaque jour une spécialité différente qui sont très bonnes! (il y a d'autres choix si jamais).

I really liked the friendly and welcoming people, it is easy to meet others and have great conversations. The courtyard area with the swimming pool and bar was a chill spot to hang out and relax after a long day. It had a good vibe.

I didn’t like the narrow, unstable spiral staircase leading to the room, it’s difficult and dangerous, especially with luggage. The room was dark, stuffy, and had no real ventilation. Just a few loud portable fans that didn’t help with the heat. I was sweating and couldn’t rest comfortably. Also, the hostel is located at the end of a rocky, unlit dirt road. It’s not safe to walk in the dark alley. If you have roll-away luggage, be prepared, it’s not easy to access, especially at night. I ended up leaving early, but no refund was offered.

El lugar tiene un ambiente muy agradable, el desayuno estaba delicioso y prestaban elementos adicionales como sombrilla, toallas, utensilios de cocina, juegos de mesa y entretenimiento, además tienen su propia cerveza, deliciosa y refrescante.

Solo faltaría que tuvieran aire acondicionado y mejor iluminación en la habitación que teníamos ya que los focos alumbraban poco y abrir las ventanas era renunciar a nuestra privacidad, otro detalle del cuarto es que el refrigerador tenía un olor un poco desagradable.

El lugar está súper bonito, en general hay un ambiente muy tranquilo. El personal es súper lindo, muy atent@s y amables. Desde nuestra llegada nos hicieron saber todo el reglamento y lo necesario para pasar una linda estancia. El único detalle que no fue de nuestro agrado (pero tampoco fue catastrófico), creemos que el baño podría tener un poco más de privacidad, con puertas tal vez. Pero aún así no están sucios ni mucho menos. Al contrario, creo que hay bastante higiene en todo el lugar, mucha ventilación. Aunque este punto no fue tan agradable, tampoco arruinó nuestra estancia 😊 Si recomiendo quedarse aquí

El baño sin puerta, cómo lo mencioné arriba 😃

El lugar en áreas comunes es super lindo, y a pesar de que la ubicacion es retirada de la playa es muy sencillo llegar (solo que esta un poco oculta , les falta señaletica o anuncios o algun letrero para dar mejor con el espacio.) Pero la habitacion da mucho que desear, el aire sonaba y se trababa toda la noche, la regadera moja el excusado, las toallas son miniaturas y un poco secas y tiesas, y no sabiamos que habia actividades nocturnas en el espacio el ruido no nos lo esperabamos dentro del HOSTAL. El cuarto no dejaba entrar el sonido pero estaria bien que avisaran que habrán actividades en las noches por si no es algo que te interesa... No dan nada de amenidades en el baño (ni siquiera jabon por ejemplo). De ahi en mas todo lo demas lo recomiendo, siento que aunque sean habitaciones privadas si se siente que estas en un hostal y en el 2do piso cuarto 13 no nos llegaba el internet o se conectaba y desconectaba seguido (por si vienen a trabajar desde aca ver si es posible siempre trabjajar en las areas comunes o que les den una habitacion mas cerca al wifi).

Die regelmäßigen Veranstaltungen (Tischfußball- sowie Bierpong-Turniere, Pizzabacken, Geburtstagsfeiern, gemeinsame Abendessen, Karaoke, Wanderungen, etc.) laden dazu ein, neue, interessante Kontakte zu knüpfen. Die drei Hostelkatzen Cuddles, Docita und Jackie sind eine Legende. Der Betreiber deutscher Herkunft ist eloquent und verantwortungsbewusst; sein Personal ist gleichermaßen professionell wie empathisch: Hervorzuheben sind an dieser Stelle Omar, der für allerlei kreative Frühstücksvariationen verantwortlich zeichnet (unbedingt das Kokosnuss-Bier seiner eigenen Mikrobrauerei probieren!), sowie Karen, die nicht nur die Barkeeper-Kunst perfekt beherrscht, sondern das Ambiente im Hostel besonders auch mit ihren menschlichen Qualitäten bereichert. Aufgrund alledem – das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ausgezeichnet und fair – ist für das Tower Bridge Hostel eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung auszusprechen!

Personal sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Hängematten überall zum entspannen und kostenloses Trinkwasser. Frühstück: Portionen sehr großzügig. Der Pool war das absolute Highlight.

El espacio

El hostal es súper bonito, la atención y el personal maravillosos en especial las voluntarias Abril y Vicky hacen que la experiencia sea más cálida y divertida. Las instalaciones están bonitas y hay alberca. Todo está bien cuidado. Además las actividades muy divertidas

Lo único malo es que el diseño de la alberca es que tiene piedras abajo y es un poco incómodo, y quizás hace falta más trastes en los cuartos con estufa

Era un ambiente muy tranqui, y todos muy amables, además de que nos dejaron estar después del check out, el personal y las personas que estaban te recibían de una manera muy linda y atentos, las instalaciones estaban bonitas y cuidadas.

La alberca tenía mucho cloro, incluso llegaba a arder la piel, pero estaba bonita

La alberca esta muy bonita, y las habitaciones para el costo que son, son muy comodas, estaría bien que tuvieran más baños. El ventilador es una muy buena amenidad, aunque un aire acondicionado por habitacione no estaria mal. En general estuvo agradable y esta muy cerca del aeropuerto.

Beaches and restaurants were so close by (unlike La Punta where everything is closed by 11:00 PM). Breakfast is delicious and the pool is spotless! Also, they have their own coconut beer which is delicious! Definitely coming back!

Staff was really nice and helpful. The place is really clean and you feel safe. There are some places near but if you want to walk... the beach is a bit far.

Un lugar muy bonito, cuando en el pueblo no había luz ni internet, en el hostal si tenían. Super céntrico para ir a la playa o al mercado caminando, igual por ahi pasan varias rutas de transporte público.

WOW this place was pure paradise! My favourite place me and my friend have been to throughout our whole time in Mexico. The people were so lovely, the staff so easy-going and helpful, and the food so delicious. The pool was so wonderful and all the hammocks and lounging spots as well. Fun events every day. Truly just can’t state enough how wonderful our stay was. I often get homesick while travelling, yet I didn’t one bit while staying here, truly felt so comfortable and home-like. I miss it already! Hope to be back again someday!!

The pool was great in the tropical heat. Interesting design of the hostel. Felt like being in a djungle house somewhere.

There were no walls to the bathroom in our private, so make sure you book with someone you're that comfortable with! 😊

Of course there was no AC but there was no even a fan in the room. They need to provide a large fan to move the air to keep the place comfortable.

Es un pequeño paraíso con una zona común muy bonita.

Beautiful pool and chill atmosphere, clean dorm and ensuite bathroom.

The shared toilets next to the kitchen were smelly, the dorm door didn’t close, the music at night in the common area was loud (our dorm was right next to it) but luckily they turned it off at midnight.
