Es gab keinen Aufzug unser Zimmer mit Kind im 2.stock! Mit Buggy und Koffern unmöglich, wir hatten vorab aber nach einem Aufzug gefragt. Das Zimmer war altmodisch und nicht besonders sauber. Augen zu und durch 🫡

Hotel Melk was a great location beside the Abbey and window view over the plaza. Breakfast was simple but fresh.

Unfortunately the room we booked was very small. 2 single beds which were short in length and placed under a sloping roof which exacerbated the closed in feeling. Long flight of stairs also to our room. We stayed 3 nights and 2 full days but this was a little too long. One day in Melk is sufficient.

Wspaniały hotel. Prowadzony przez ludzi ,którzy mają o tym pojęcie. Bardzo przyjacielscy. Czysto. sumpatycznie i śniadanie ,takie jakie nie ma w innych hotelach. Poloecam gorąco. Wszystko super!

Locația este în centrul localității și, totuși, foarte liniștită. Camera a fost foarte curată, confortabilă. Are în apropiere un restaurant foarte bun și abația Melk; este la aproximativ 10 minute de mers pe jos de Dunăre. Are locuri de parcare chiar lângă proprietate.

Baia ar fi putut fi un pic mai mare.

Snídaně byla skvělá. Centrum města je nádherné, poloha hotelu je v úplném centru krásného města Melk města.

Byli jsme jako rodina na cestě kolem Dunaje z Linz do Tulln. Objednal jsem rodinný pokoj, který byl prostorný, obrovská koupelna. 1 velká manželská postel byla skvělá. 2. postel, která byla inzerována jako menší postel byl ve skutečnosti rozkládací gauč. Prakticky jsem se vůbec nevyspal. Vše ostatní bylo v hotelu fajn.

Everything was wonderful! The host was very helpful and responsive. The bathroom was spacious and had a sauna.

Due to the large number of guests at the hotel, we were given breakfast vouchers for another restaurant at the hotel, which was quite disappointing. The breakfast selection was very limited, and the waiter made several mistakes. I would recommend reconsidering this partnership.

L'albergo è in una bellissima posizione, facilmente raggiungibile in auto/moto e con parcheggio dedicato. E' all'ingresso del centro storico e vicinissimo all'ingresso dall'abbazia. Non abbiamo fatto colazione in hotel, ma nelle vicinanze ci sono diversi posti dove andare tra cui una pasticceria. Non si mangia in hotel, ma nelle vicinanze (consigliati anche dal proprietario) ci sono diversi ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi. Segnalo il parcheggio comodissimo. La stanza era carina e di dimensioni adeguate, il bagno un po' vecchiotto con la vasca ed il vetro, ma adeguato. Non c'è il condizionatore, ma alla sera c'è un bello sbalzo termico, con la finestra aperta e/o con il ventilatore in dotazione (silenzioso ed efficace) non ne abbiamo sentito la necessità, ed abbiamo dormito bene. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile, peccato non aver potuto parlare di più per "nostri problemi linguistici". Lo consigliamo.

Kleine warme kamer . Met 2 eenpersoons bedden waarvan 1 heel klein (kinderbed) . In de morgen konden we niet in het hotel ontbijten en moesten naar een andere locatie!!

Ein Balkon zum Hauptplatz, eine seltsame aber wunderbar funktionierende Klimaanlage! Exzellenter Parkplatz und die Nähe zur Wachau-Arena. Freundliches Personal, super Frühstück. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The location is accessible.

The room was a small section of the attic. We could not breathe. The window is too small with low ceiling. No view. We had to stay until the midnight in the square. We barely could sleep because of the extreme hot room. The photos on the website do not match the reality. So we felt that we are cheated.

Die Lage ist fuer Fussgaenger perfekt.

Das preis/Leistungsverhaeltnis ist schlecht. Es war das teuerste Hotel auf der Donaureise mit in die Jahre gekommenen Badezimmer mit gesprungenen Waschbecken und keiner Klimaanlage. Das Personal war stellenweise pampig hier war der Gast nicht koenig sondern stoerte nur.

Lage ist perfekt - idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Frühstück war regional und ausreichend vom Angebot - alles, was man sich wünscht, war vorhanden. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal.

Frühstück einfach aber okay. Keine Eier - weder gekocht noch als Rühr- oder Spiegeleier ist schon eher ungewöhnlich. Schön zentral gelegen, daher nicht tragisch, dass kein Restaurant- oder Barbetrieb. Parkplätze in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden, was in der hsitorischen Altstadt von Vorteil ist.

Keine Klimatisierung. Der Ventilator hat zwar etwas Abhilfe geschaffen, wäre aber für längere Aufenthalte in warmen Sommern wie diesem, keine dauerhafte Lösung.

Melk es una ciudad encantadora y el hotel no podía ser menos. Ubicado excepcionalmente, es un lugar precioso para visitar. El hotel limpio y cuidado, con un parking genial. Súper recomendable.

Nos gustó todo. Quizá el desayuno tiene poca variedad, pero lo que había estaba riquísimo.

Keine Klimaanlage. Zimmer unter dem Dach. Mir ust etwas runtergefallen und als ich danach gesucht habe, sind mir die Spinnweben unter dem Nachttisch aufgefallen. Mitarbeiter eher "verhalten" freundlich.

uns hat eine „Bar“ oder ähnliches gefehlt ….. oder ein Getränkekühlschrank, aus dem man sich hätte bedienen können - es gibt schon recht viele Stufen in dem Haus, auch beim Frühstück

We really enjoyed our stay. The welcome was warm and friendly, the location was wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. Everything made for a very pleasant experience, and we would gladly stay here again.

Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje bardzo dobre śniadanie, które było smaczne i starannie przygotowane. Dodatkowo Pan odpowiedzialny za jego przygotowanie był wyjątkowo uprzejmy i pomocny, co pozytywnie wpłynęło na ogólne wrażenia z pobytu. Lokalizacja obiektu jest bardzo korzystna – hotel znajduje się w bezpośrednim centrum miasta Melk, w pobliżu licznych restauracji oraz atrakcji turystycznych. Dużym atutem jest również dostępność bezpłatnego parkingu hotelowego. Warto wspomnieć, że późny check-in był możliwy, co okazało się bardzo wygodne. Ponadto internet działał bez zarzutu.

Podczas mojego pobytu napotkałem kilka istotnych niedogodności. Przede wszystkim obsługa w recepcji pozostawiała wiele do życzenia – pracownik był nieuprzejmy i sprawiał wrażenie aroganckiego. Z uwagi na dobrą znajomość języka niemieckiego mogę stwierdzić, że sposób komunikacji był zdecydowanie nieodpowiedni i nie spełniał standardów obsługi klienta. Pokój, podobnie jak łazienka, był stosunkowo niewielki, co wpływało negatywnie na komfort pobytu. Dodatkowo brak czajnika w hotelu o standardzie trzech gwiazdek jest zaskakujący i odbiega od powszechnie przyjętych oczekiwań. Na koniec warto wspomnieć o hałasie w okolicy – po godzinie 22:00 było dość głośno, co utrudniało odpoczynek.

uraltes Haus, sehr altes Bad mit defekten Fliesen Kein Lift und viele Treppen mit schwerem Koffer Frühstück nur bis 9:00 Uhr das entspricht nicht einem Urlaubsaufenthalt. Dazu wurde kein Hinweis bei der Ankunft gegeben.. für 15 € pro Frühstück hat man zu wenig geboten. Es gab kein heißes Wasser für Tee und auch keinen Tee. keinerlei Service beim Frühstück und keine Frage Möglichkeit.. Es war niemand da, die man fragen konnte.

Freundlichkeit beim Empfang Moderne saubere Zimmer Uns wurde unaufgefordert ein Ventilator zur Verfügung gestellt

Man konnte den Sonnenschutz nachts leider nicht hochfahren, weshalb wenig Luft ins Zimmer kam Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht und mussten zum Frühstück in ein anderes Café, was wirklich in Ordnung war, leider wäre das Frühstück im Hotel bereits um 7:00 gewesen, das Frühstück im Café erst ab 7:30 Der Fahrradraum ist sehr klein, als wir um 15:00 ankamen war er bereits voll. Uns wurde aber umgehend eine Alternative angeboten, was sehr zuvorkommend war.

The location was excellent, since my purpose in visiting Melk was to spend time at the Melk Abbey.

Das Haus ist mit Liebe renoviert worden. Die Lage am Stadtplatz könnte kaum besser sein. Die Eigentümer kümmern sich persönlich um die Gäste.

Für die Größe und Ausstattung war der Preis doch sehr hoch. Einzelne Details sind leider schon etwas abgewohnt. Es gibt keinen Aufzug.

Location was very good. You could look up the window and see people in the Square enjoying themselves. Had a nice bike shed for storing your bicycle. The beds in the room were comfortable . The room was fairly small.

2 things, 1…When you came to reception, there was a note saying to call a number to get the staff to the front desk on WhatsApp. I couldn’t get WhatsApp to work so I waited 10 minutes until a cleaner came and called the owner, who was out in the car park sunning himself. 2… there is a restaurant attached in the basement of the hotel. Not sure if they own it or not, but there was no breakfast offered. Only you could pay for a breakfast down the street for a bit of a discount but the thing that blew me away was he offered a 25% discount on the coffee to go in the restaurant in the basement of the hotel. Very strange since I’ve been paying the same amount for different hotels, including phenomenal breakfasts.

Ausgezeichnetes Bett, Frühstück reichlich und die Lage ist perfekt im Zentrum, nachts ist es trotzdem komplett ruhig, auch bei offenem Fenster.
