Sun Hill Hotel

Location was ok, if you want to be close to the ex-pat bars. Air con was strong and quiet. Bed wasn’t too bad. Daytime staff lady was lovely. You can request daily cleaning but it is not automatic.

Old, mouldy, not particularly clean. Towels were threadbare, bath at was hardly more than a scrap. Tiny piece of soap. Scrap of toilet paper. Overall, pretty awful.

I have previously stayed here. Good location, very close to the many expat bars and a short walk to both front and back beach. The suite is a large comfortable room.

Fridge hadn't been cleaned and still had sauces and food from previous guest. Small things as I prefer to go out for a coffee in the morning; a kettle was provided but no tea or coffee. One of the coffee cups had a broken handle.

Not value for money. The facility is old, not so clean, esp the bathroom. The bed is the worst, on the 2nd night, i guest there was bed bugs that bit us all over. The AC is sometime cold sometime not :)

Our room was basic and enormous and our beds were comfortable. The reception staff both day and night were really helpful. The location, for us, was great. There were a few expat bars/restaurants around which were good fun and interesting speaking to the Viet Vets. Great little store next door for your supplies. There was no breakfast at this Hotel but we didn't starve given the amount of eating places around. If you need to be overlooking the sea then this place is not for you.

The location is very good. easy to access to the shops and restaurants nearby.

The shower hot water service is intermittent. sometime hot and sometime cold during shower

Comfortable rooms, neat and clean perfect for longer stays, with kitchen and laundry. Great location..! My only suggestion is, please provide "Do Not Disturb" and "Please Clean My Room" signs for the doors.

Great location, easy walk to numerous bars/sports bars. Easy to get Grab to get around Vung Tau. Emily's restaurant is a flat 60mtr walk away for a great breakfast & coffee ☕️ The young staff member was very helpful.

A great little hotel that is well located. Great staff who immediately attended to a problem we had with our bath. Lots of eating and drinking establishments within an easy walk.

Be aware there is a noisy bar across the road, but you could ask for a room away from the bar. The hot water wasn't hot; more like lukewarm.

There were big investments into the project, but something went wrong…

Bed linings and towels weren’t clean at all, not sure did a housekeeper change them or not before my check-in. The walls in the room were pretty much scratched and just worn out. No idea what kind of “people” were staying at that hotel since it’s opened. Location isn’t that bad, as the bar in the corner that full of loud guests until 2 am, so mind you can’t fall asleep earlier, because soundproof glasses and walls aren’t included at your booking.

I've stayed here a few times before and keep coming back because it's good quality yet affordable, with nice amenities, a bit of a view, and in a good location.
