The hotel has modern finishes and is clean. Staff is friendly. Room looks nice and the bathroom was cute and spacious enough.

Room (outside of the bathroom) was tiny and it was hard to open our luggages with the space we had.

Loved the book cafe and location. Very comfortable stay and I could spend time reading at the cafe while waiting for laundry.

The room was lovely, good size and comfy bed. Great staff, really good coffee, and the location is excellent - everything you need outside the door, Odori park and public transport within short walking distance. Easy to get to from the airport. Would gladly return here next time I'm in Sapporo.

The hotel has a very sweet book theme that I enjoyed. Check in and check out was smooth and the staff was very kind. Like most hotel rooms in Japan, it was small, but I liked the layout and it fit our large bags. We paid extra to reserve breakfast in the cafe, which was tasty. We asked for them to store our bags for a couple hours after check out before we left Sapporo, and they graciously did so, giving us a number tag for our items.

Unfortunately the laundry room was too busy for us to use during our stay, so we ended up walking to a laundromat.

This was a great location in Susukino. It was walking distance to everything and easy to get to the subway and tram system. I had a spacious room with great spaces for reading, but I spent most evenings down in the cafe to read.

The coin laundry machines left my clothes with a mildew smell. I had to go to a nearby laundromat to wash them again. Also there is a smoke room on the first floor. It is closed off, but sometimes at night the smoke smell starts to waft into the cafe area.

The location is strategic, easy to find a convenience store, restaurant, and shopping centre. There is a laundry machine at first floor. And the point plus is near the limousine bus to the airport.

Not really spacious enough for three of us to store our baggage around the room. Especially if you bring the large baggage.

I loved it! The staff is helpful, everything is super clean and stylish, lot of amenities, you get a yukata, there is a bath tub, the location is right at a buzzy street but still very very good soundproof, bed is comfy, breakfast is tasty and cafe is open also at night.

If anything should be imroved, maybe it could be the size of the breakfast. Perhaps it could contain a fruit or and egg as an addition.

ツインの部屋が狭い

Facilities are clean, modern and cozy. They provided new towels every single day hanging on the door outside in a bag even though we put not disturb sign on our door. Very nice

I wish they have a little bit more variety of books. Mostly Japanese novels, essays and travel books.

The hotel is a combination of bookstore, cafe and accommodation. It gives a relaxing vibe compared to the usual hustle and bustle business hotels. The ground floor is the reception, cafe, and bookstore. Accommodations are located from 1st floor onwards. There are laundry room and vending machines at the ground floor too. Breakfast provided is tasty. I really love the location of the hotel. It is located on the Tanukikoji shopping street, so you get easy access to shops and restaurants. Susukino, Odori and Sapporo station are just minutes away.

Due to the combination of cafe, bookstore and hotel, that means you get quite a number of customers at the ground floor, for coffee or to work/study. Although I booked a larger room, but it turns out to still be small. You can only open up about 1 large 28” luggage and 1 small cabin luggage before there is no space to walk. The basin area is small and low, so taller person like me need to bent down (I am 6 ft). Amenities are provided at the reception. Breakfast selection is limited.

予約時は朝食がついているような書き方だったが、滞在中にQRコードで読み込む初見の館内説明で初めて別料金かつ前日23時まで予約要だと気づいた。 説明不足。

Die Lage war super. Das Zimmer klein aber ausreichend.

Der Display von der AC-Bedienung war die ganze Zeit an, auch in der Nacht, was das Zimmer unnötig beleuchtete.

우선 역에서는 거리가 있지만 상가근처라 구경하며 다니기 좋았고 가성비 좋아요. 직원분들 늘 웃으며 응대하시는 점이 정말 좋았습니다.

일본 호텔 워낙 작지만 화장실 욕조와 수압도 좋았습니다. 단 테이블 먼지와 옷장이 없어 불편 했네요.

ホテル内は静かで､清潔で使いやすい部屋でした｡スタッフの方の対応も良かったです｡私は今回北海道マラソンに出る為に利用しましたが､スタートゴール地点にも近く､とても便利でした｡

No tea or coffee in rooms. Staff under the pump so no time for pleasantries. Automated check in and out so little human interaction

The hotel is beautiful, and a lot of thought has clearly gone into the room’s design and furnishings. The hot water comes on quickly, and the water pressure is great.

14 m² sind halt nur 14 m². Mit zwei Koffern wird es dann schon ziemlich eng. Das Frühstück ist doch eher Basic.

The staff was amazing, namely the girl that helped me with the check in and with scheduling breakfast, and the man that helped me with the delivery of luggage to Tokyo

If you want to stay in a fun and lively area, this is excellent value and just slightly quieter spot, the rest of tanukikoji is a bit annoying to step out into, but lamp light's block is very nice. The rooms are new and the lighting is super comfortable

스스키노역에서 접근성이 좋고 상점가 직선동선에 있어서 왔다갔다할때마다 지루하지 않았던것같아서 위치적으로 좋고 내부는 깨끗하고 생각보다 넓어서 만족스러웠습니다 충전 할곳도 많았고 우선 화장실도 정말 좋았어요! 일층에 다용도실에 전자레인지도 사용할 수 있었습니다~ 연박했는데 진짜 만족스러웠어요!

위치는 10점. 걸어서 오도리공원, 삿포로역, 스스키노 다 이동 가능하다. 피곤하거나 너무 늦었다면 1층에서 가서 음료로 때우거나, 바로 옆옆에 위치한 편의점이나 근처 식당에서 식사해결이 가능하다. 천장이 있는 아케이드 안에 있어, 비가오나 눈이 오나 이동이 편하다. 단, 택시로는 들어올 수 없는 길이라, 근처에서 내려서 캐리어를 끌고 이동해야 한다. 조식 완벽~ 1층 카페로 분위기 좋다(다만, 생각보다 작고, 영어 책은 많지 않다).

호텔 손님이 1층을 이용하는 것은 조식 시간 때만이고, 이후 카페 이용시에는 음료를 구매하라고 한다. 적어도 2박이상이라면 1번의 커피 쿠폰을 준다면 좋겠다. 또한, 카페에서 파는 메뉴가 다양하면 좋겠다.

Tolle Lage - man ist direkt im Leben, wenn man möchte. Auch das Angebot der Restaurants und Bars sowie Shoppingoptionen ist vielfältig. Der Lese- und Cafébereich ist ebenfalls entspannend und lädt zum Relaxen ein.

The breakfast was included at a very reasonable rate, and was always tasty in the morning. Rooms are custom furnished, better than anything at the pricepoint.

The included drink options are a lot worse than what's available at the cafe for normal order.

The rooms are fully custom decorated, unlike many hotels at the price point. The selling point is the cafe and location. The location is absolutely prime, and I found myself less than 5 minutes walk from my hotel whenever I went to get food or shop.

Staff are hit or miss in helpfulness.

The room was tidy and the location was fine. Cute book vibe.

This is not really a hotel. It’s more like a very nice hostel. The concierge staff are the cafe staff. That’s fine but we paid hotel prices for something very basic. No common area for guests. If you are staying in a twin room, make sure you book a superior space as there was almost no room for our two suitcases. Could do with some hooks on the walls for towels and void space under the bed for suitcases. We asked the staff for an extra pillow and they obliged, weird that you don’t get two pillows on the bed as a default.

Location was great, easy to walk to sights from and to use public transport. Nice calming quiet vibe, especially in the lobby/cafe area. Room was comfortable and reasonable size for two adults. Felt more personal than some of the bigger hotels.

No doubts its clean and in excellent location. Great on that. Bathroom is in a decent size, something you dont get usually in Japan. You can meet some interesting people while in the hotel.

Rooms are tiny. While traveling, sometimes you need to just relax out of the room or leave your partner to rest in the room and you just go away for half hour, then here is the problem: When i sat down in the street level of the hotel to just relax (10pm) , staff came and told me I MUST drink or eat something if i want be sitting basically out of the room. Thats not good. I asked if there is just a tiny corner with an armchair to sit and read my news in the phone while my partner is having a short nap; answer was NO. This isnt good. Im paying to stay in a hotel that doesnt let me sit in its facilities unless im spending more. NOTE THIS: i must spend more, they have sitting area but you need to put money upfront to use it.....

The room was incredibly clean. Bed and pillows were perfectly firm and comfortable. The room was very quiet and we had the best nights rest! Location was fun & bustling (bars/restaurants/shops) with access to subway stations and bus routes - many a short (5-15min) walk away. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was perfect for our needs (they were able to adjust slightly for a gluten free option).

房間乾淨整潔、網路不錯。地理位置良好，位於狸小路裡面，逛街、用餐都很方便，雖然位於鬧區，但是隔音不錯，所以蠻安靜的。床鋪舒適好睡。喜歡大廳的擺設，自助式check out很方便，而且提供房客24小時的咖啡服務。

可能因為是中型雙床房，而我們有兩大一小，所以房內的沙發被攤開作為沙發床，使得空間變得較為狹窄，行李箱放置空間有限。除此之外，一切都很好！非常推薦雙人入住這樣的房型！

I stayed 4 nights total over 2 stays. Location was great. Busy part of town. Lots of kombini and nightlife nearby. Close to the underground walkway to Sapporo station. I was able to get there with a suitcase without using the stairs. Good laundry, bathrooms was good. Small room but space for my suitcase in the bathroom. Good for 1 person. Recommend the AOAO aquarium in the evening at the end of the shopping street.

The blinds don’t shut out the light. When the sun rises at 4.30am this can be a problem. I found the pillows very hard leaving me with a sore neck, headache and dizziness. As mentioned by others it would be nice to sit in the lobby cafe without having to buy something.

Lovely quiet location and I strongly recommend trying the cafe, which is open 24hrs for hotel guests. The iced cocoa was fantastic for a summer evening. The distance away from the subway stations and more touristy spots gave a chill and local vibe, with many izakayas taking advantage of the cool summer weather. Much fun exploring the old school grocer, an LP store, and thrift store, along the hotel street. Easy access to shelter was also a bonus given the intermittent rain. A lot of food and shopping opportunities within a 1km radius.

The standard twin room looked a lot bigger in the pictures, so it was a slight squeeze but otherwise really great room with a comfortably sized toilet. It is also location at then end of the main tanukikoji shopping street which makes it a bit of a walk to the subway stations for older or younger guests. Taking a taxi is also slightly inconvenient as the main entrance is located on a walking street.
