Waldorf Astoria Kuwait

Staff amazingly accommodating for the guests. Had an issue with booking the spa because fully booked but they managed to book for in house guests. Would have preferred more flexibility and longer spa session because I was staying at the hotel but still helpful staff.

I asked for a room not near the elevator and mine was literally the first one from the elevator.

Great facility

Price is a bit costly

It’s so nice and I like the design and color ,

That no transfer inside the mall

The food and the Design was amazing

Everything

Breakfast is beyond imagination, with a great number of choices and quality pastries. The room is very big and nice; you can open and close the curtains with a button. Facility is great. They even presented a cake to my room for my birthday.

No proper electrical socket to plug in the hair dryer in the bathroom. The toiletries and hotel amenities are weak for such a luxury hotel. Only one set of dental toiletries was provided for example. No indoor pool.

Everything was perfect

Nothing

The location near to the mall

The staff at the reception was very rude to us and in prepose took my stuff and trick me they already sent it to our car while we are leaving but he didn’t sent it and it was gift for my family and now i’m back in uae without the expensive gifts i bought

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The team from ava restaurant ( breakfast ) surprised my daughter for her birthday (Sujata, mandal and sunina). This is my second time i stay there and will be there again for sure. The space of room very good and clean, smell fresh, and the house keeping always responsive and bring what ever we ask at any time. Also i have to mention the kid’s club , its variation to be suitable to all ages and the offer they give to nursing kids from 4-12 , which allows the parents have some off time and enjoy their stays. The swimming pool was great. And the staff there prepared where we want to sit without asking them, the food menu perfect and included everything. At the end. Never forget how the receptionist hot greeting and welcoming each time the saw us. Highly recommended to stay in waldorf and it’s worth each dinar you pay for it.

The friendly behaviour of almost every single person working at the hotel. The manager abd alrab, staff member nekhil and literally everyone wad friendly. Whenever there was a demand, it was fulfilled right away.

I went to AVA Restaurant for my family lunch.. Amazing in a single expression. The food , service, hospitality, kids play options, freebies, and farewell.. everything was topmost high standard.. thanks to the employees who catered us Anish, Chaima (memorable photo), Byron and sunina.. all were splendid.

المكان جداً رائع

كل شي كان جميل

Nur is one of the best receptionists! She was incredibly helpful, genuinely nice, and so friendly to us. Thank you, Nur!

Everything specially the pool i loved it

I had a wonderful stay at Astoria and truly enjoyed the entire experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Breakfast at Ava Restaurant was delicious, with a great variety of fresh choices. A special thank you to Ms. Nicole at Ava Restaurant for her warm hospitality and excellent service. She was friendly, attentive, and made every breakfast feel welcoming. Her kindness really made a positive impression on our stay. I highly recommend Astoria and would be happy to stay here again!

Thanks for the amazing breakfast at ava resturant Amazing staff i celebrate my friend's birthday The staff Arshad , Azar, Alfayo krisha and chaima and Manager Navin all were very helpful and welcoming They make my experience wonderful Thanks staff of woldorf astoria Amazing place

I honestly wasn't planning to leave a review because we were disappointed with our stay. We had high expectations of a five-star hotel. We expected excellent service, staff with a genuine hospitality mindset, and people who were capable of solving problems professionally. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. We chose to stay for two nights because we love the restaurants here—Roka, Peacock, and AVA. The food is delicious and of excellent quality. We thought spending two nights here to celebrate my birthday would make it a memorable occasion, but sadly, it didn't. Our first room, Room 423, had a very poorly designed bathroom. The toilet was installed so close to the wall that I had to bend my knees and sit sideways just to use it comfortably. I honestly don't understand how this design was ever approved. The check-in process was also disappointing. We had called to make our reservation an hour before arriving, and we reached the hotel at around 4:00 p.m. Even so, we had to wait a long time before our room was ready . She told us that our room was delayed because we had requested a different bed configuration. The next issue arose when we discovered that the bathroom wasn't suitable for someone with long legs. Since we were exhausted that evening, we asked if we could change rooms the following day instead. The staff told us they would check with the manager and get back to us, but we never received a response. Concerned that the issue hadn't been followed up, we called again. Unfortunately, the operator who answered the phone was rather aggressive. She transferred our call to Mr. Jacob. He was professional and helpful, and he confirmed that we would be able to change rooms the following day to one where I could use the toilet comfortably without having to twist my legs. That said, there were several employees who completely changed my impression and convinced me that they deserved to be recognized. Nicole at AVA Restaurant during breakfast was exceptional. She genuinely cares about guests, pays attention to details, and serves with warmth and kindness. Her smile is natural, and she seems to truly enjoy her job. She stood out from everyone else, and I sincerely hope her manager recognizes the wonderful work she does. Nur at Reception was excellent at solving problems. Thank you for recommending the orthopedic pillow—it made a real difference. The housekeeping lady (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name) was also wonderful. She was smart, cheerful, communicated very well, and provided excellent service. Finally, compliments to the chefs. The almond croissant was absolutely delicious, and the cheese selection was outstanding. It's clear that the hotel uses high-quality ingredients. Although our overall stay did not meet our expectations for a five-star hotel, these employees deserve recognition for their professionalism and genuine hospitality. They were the highlight of our visit.

Amazing party and Service every thing amazing

I would like to give a nice comment to Azardeen and Alfayo who was so attentive and helpful during our breakfast, also to Chef Arianne who was so nice and approachable, speacial mention to Krisha who took a memorable picture to all of us that makes it more memorable, overall , all staff in AVA are excellent, thank you

We had a wonderful experience in peakock restaurant with a superb service with a reasonable price. I surely recommend it.
