Rex Quang Binh Hotel

各種旅行サイト等には複数のレストランと売店の表記があったのですが、到着日の夜に探しましたがやっているところを見つけられませんでした。 客室フロアの廊下が薄暗く、また空調が効いていないので暑かったです。 ただ、受付の方はとてもフレンドリーでした。また朝食ビュッフェは想像以上に品数が豊富で、美味しかったです。 朝食のレストランは高層階にあり、ドンホイの街並みが見下ろせて気持ちがよかった。 部屋もかなり広く、我々の滞在目的には充分なサービスでした。

Although it isn't a biggie, some of the products promised weren't delivered on, e.g. no welcome drinks. Cold coffee on both mornings we were there, breakfast was good but not fantastic. Seperate towls not supplied automatically for the pool but were delived promptly when asked for. Pool was small and very refreshing(colder than most). Very clean but quite noisy in the morning with garden music coming up to our room. Remote had flat batteries so we got one given to us from another room again promptly. Walking options around the hotel a bit limited so be ready to taxi or grab. Good for a couple of nights.

Very poor service very cheap hotel bed breakfast charge you for every small thing I wouldn’t suggest to go there anymore

1. Bath tub plug at junior suite does not work (got stuck and cannot open or close). Caused the bath tub to be filled with dirty bath water that does not drain. Happened twice. Service technician came twice to fix because we complained twice. To avoid a third time because we were so sick of a lack of a properly functioning bath tub, we removed the draining plug ourselves to prevent the plug from being jammed. Male Receptionist in white refused to change room for us. Disgusting experience.

Our room was clean and spacious although we would have preferred 1 queen bed. We like that they provided rubber slippers instead of the cloth ones and their wifi has a fast connection. They also assisted us for our luggages from when we arrived until checking out.The free buffet breakfast was really nice, there were many Vietnamese dish selections so we were excited to try them all and they taste very good!

Really nice hotel for the price, staff friendly, and convenient as 3 restaurants, 2 coffee, karaoke…etc right in hotel.

⸻ Subject: Feedback on Recent Stay at Rex Quảng Bình I recently stayed at your hotel and would like to share my experience, which, unfortunately, was disappointing. First and foremost, the toilet in room 1011 - This is a family room - had a very unpleasant and persistent smell, seemingly coming from the waste collector. It was so overwhelming that it felt like I was sleeping in a garbage room. This issue seriously affected the comfort and quality of my stay. Additionally, during breakfast service, I encountered a staff member at the soup station who was notably unfriendly. Her attitude toward guests came across as dismissive, if not outright rude. Whether this was due to her demeanor or simply a lack of customer service training, it left a negative impression. To make matters worse, my brother developed a stomachache shortly after consuming an egg from the breakfast buffet. While we cannot confirm the cause with certainty, this incident raised concerns about food hygiene and safety standards at your establishment. Based on this experience, I regret to say that I will not be returning to Rex Quảng Bình Hotel in the future. Modern hotel with huge rooms. Friendly staff and reasonable breakfast. It was very good value. The hotel was located a bit in the middle of nowhere, but only 10-15 minute walk to town. Soundproofing could be improved

Stayed here for 3 nights while doing a couple of day trips to the national park. Room (king suite) was extremely spacious and well appointed. We were on the 10th floor and on floor 15 there is a karaoke bar and it was like they were singing in our room. The good news was it shut down early.

We had a nice stay at this hotel with a spacious and modern room. The breakfast was very Asian orientated, so only a few choices for continental. We didn't mind that, however the coffe was really bad one day and undrinkable the next morning. And that after two weeks in Vietnam, knowing that the coffee is different from the European.

Only issue was on checking out, the receptionist received a photo of a flannel I'd used to wipe the balcony clean from a chambermaid, and seemed to want financial compensation from me for using it this way. This spoiled what had up to then been a perfect stay in the hotel. I paid nothing, and left in a huff.

Excellent hotel, only slight problem was sink plug not holding water, and balcony in need of wiping clean.

Everything was nice especially the front desk people. In our bathroom it would be better if there was a half partition to block the water when taking a shower. We got a lot of water on the floor and tub.

The suite was composed by 2 rooms. Materials and fornitures are really good. Structure is also really good

This hotel is next to a park that has some exercise equipments. We went for a walk before 6am and there were already quite a few locals out there. The staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and big.

A bathtube only, no separat shower was a bit strange to us because of splashing water around, making the floor slippery. We enjoyed staying. Friendly staff, exeptional breakfast offering.

We stayed her for 3 nights. Good hotel and lovely staff. A bit out of the center, but we always rent scooters so that was no problem for us.

Great hotel if you are there for a short stay and Phang Nga tour. Close to train station, airport and the place was spotless. My room was spacious and beautiful. Thanh was very helpful at the restaurant and portion are huge and food was great

I've stayed at Rex Quang Binh Hotel twice. The first time was a nice experience. The room was clean, staff were friendly, surrounding area felt safe with restaurants within walking distance. The second time, the quality of staff and room was great. However, there was really loud music from a nearby restaurant/karaoke bar. I could hear people singing karaoke from my room until 11pm-midnight even with my headphones on. I stayed on a Monday in January... not sure if this is a one-off event or it happens every Monday. Overall a great stay minus the loud signing.

We had a pleasant stay here. Much value for the money and a very friendly staff. Good breakfast.

To start with all the staff were super friendly, accommodating n always had a smile on their face. We were upgraded to another room as we were on our honeymoon trip but the staff decorated another room for us, therefore the reception staff upgraded us to that room without any fuss. Even though it’s a newer hotel but it looked quite run down n not well maintained. Also the location is quite far from the downtown area where most of the action happens during evening n night i.e. cafes n restaurants. Overall, the stay was pleasant n comfortable

Gorgeous hotel!! Our room was huge, the room was stunning, the beds were comfy, bathroom was super clean and pretty, breakfast was wonderful. This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at.

Had a great stay at the Rex. Big clean room, comfortable bed, great bathroom. Nice pool upstairs and buffet breakfast had plenty of options. Would stay there again

The receptionist knows all information about my question, very clever. Although in the first night, strange electric motor sound for 10 minutes made me wake up twice, other times were calm. The room was wide, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast also excellent, including Vietnam food, and 4 kinds of fruits.

Great hotel, staff was also nice. Nice view of river from room. Room was big and clean. Would definitely stay here again. One of the nicer hotel in the area.

A quick stop off at The Rex for an onward journey. A star in a middle of nowhere. Good Quality Hotel located 10minutes can ride from the Railway Station

I was admittedly initially intrigued in this hotel because of the pictures. However, it appears that the pictures are a misrepresentation of this space. Pros: The staff were courteous. The bathroom was nice. The room was large. There was a large quantity of food at the buffet. The lobby was nice. There are amenities such as a spa (I didn’t use) and karaoke (also didn’t use). Cons: -there was little sound insulation throughout the entire hotel -The pool was not at all how it looks in the pictures -There was an ant problem in my room. I understand in this climate some small critters are unavoidable. I wrote the housekeepers a note but there was not much change. They were in my suitcase, clothes, and bed. -outside of fruit and bread, the breakfast buffet doesn’t have food available for non meat eaters. While not a con, the buffet is predominantly food that is Vietnamese/asian. There is not information about what the items are or the ingredients, which can be very confusing for foreigners. The laundry is priced by item and very costly. It cost me 50,000 Dong to have my pajamas laundered (but they are able to send it to a nearby laundromat if you ask, which only charges 30,000/kilo).

The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly. Especially Ms Feng was very helpful and speaks English and mandarin well so communication was easy. She help us keep our luggage while we went for 2 day phong nha tour. The staff help us pack breakfast when we had to rush for our 7am train.

I have no idea why this place only has three stars. We experienced an almost 5 star facility and service

Everything was great, from the location to the hotel itself, staff in the reception were fantastic, they were true professionals and helped make our stay reach that level you do not get everywhere. Highly recommend this hotel and we would certainly stay here again.

Service was good. The cafe downstairs is brilliant for an early morning coffee. Bedroom was perfect and beds were comfy. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling around Vietnam that wants a good place but doesn't want to break the bank

By far one of my favourite hotels that I had the pleasure stay at in Dong Hoi. Friendly helpful welcoming staff. Very clean and comfortable room

We only stay one night. We wish we could stay longer. The staffs were amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable and huge, clean. The coffee shop downstairs is very convenient.

Disappointment. Room had heating instead of AC on - had to change a room late night. Bought a bottle of overpriced wine just to see it being spoilt/oxidised; wanted to find comfort in rock sauna just to find the floor full of small balls that almost killed me while staff didn’t know how to increase temperature past 41 Celsius; was woken up by housekeeping despite do not disturb on my door; finally, was called 30 mins prior to checkout to see if I plan to check out in 30 mins. Highly disappointed.

Very nice hotel. I arrived during an off peak time and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. No complaints here
