Staff is a bit confused, you need to ask everything by yourself (when is breakfast, where, what price, etc..) looks like they are not intend to tell more bythemself (different experience in Norway Scandic). The room is spacious, quite, comfortable beds. Breakfast is amazing and staff in breakfast area is super helpful. The price for room looks a bit pricey, but it's Scandinavia.. :) they have sauna included for guests in upper floor, what is amazing, but unfortunately we havent tried.
A bit pricey, considering it is a small city. Breakfast is not included in the price.

The Parking for the customers is outside the hotel which is a bit inconvinient. In heavy weather conditions this could be really an issue.

Service im Restaurant und in der Lounge waren eher dürftig. Es gab z.T. längere Wartezeiten bei den Bestellungen. Garage ist nicht direkt aus dem Hotel zugänglich.

The cleaners tried to access the room approximately one hour before the check-out time. After that, some kind of supervisor was standing outside the door when I opened it to leave the room . When I returned, the key card no longer worked. I had to go downstairs again to have the card reactivated.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Modern hotel in the new city center, in front of the townhall. Very quiet hotel with a spacious room. Just 200 meters away from the tourist office where the tours for the visit of the iron mine starts.
Breakfast was very crowded with relatively few tables to sit. The buffet was average with orange juice from concentrate (automatic dispenser adding a lot of water to your glass) and many dishes / plates empty after 1 hour opening. Below standards for a hotel in this category.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Wspaniały widok z okna, bardzo miły Pan obsługujący na front desku, przepyszne śniadania, gym & sauna w obiekcie. Wygodne łóżka, pokój przestrzenny, system elektrycznych zasłon. Samo nowe centrum, bliskość sklepów.
Ceny w Skybar nie do przyjęcia, parking w obiekcie winiec być dostępny i w cenie. Nie otrzymaliśmy serwisu pokojowego przez 3 dni pobytu.

Restaurangen är under all kritik. Tre varmrätter att välja på= svagt. Kötträtt som är medioker. Pasta rätt som är ihjäl kokt och platt till smak och utseende. Pizza som ej testats. Frukost som man får betala separat för, ca 170 kr som inte ens är värt 70kr.

En kille och kvinna i receptionen på kvällen, ville inte ge oss gåva som stod på tvn om man blev Scandic Friends. Ville inte låta oss ha en liten ryggsäck i bagageutrymmet medan vi gick upp för Keb.

Sunnuntaina ilta oli todella surkea ruoka valikoima . Baarista ainoastaan tarjolla pari pizza vaihtoehtoa . Aamupalalla kuitenkin oli paljon porukkaa . Joten luulisi sunnuntaina muutkin pitkät matkan takaa tulleet haluaa syödä.

Lite betjening ,virket som det var for lite folk på jobb Betjeningen virket stresset. Alt for mye folk under frokost ,virket rotete .Burde delt inn frokosten i tider eks hatt den i 2 puljer . Følte man gikk oppå hverandre.

Henkilökunta oli tylyä eikä tullut sellainen olo että olisimme olleet tervetulleita vain yhdeksi yöksi. Huone oli todella likainen. Huoneen ikkunasta avautui näkymä välikatolle ja hotellin seinään. Huone oli neljälle, mutta pyyhkeitä oli vain kahdelle ja niistäkin puolet tahraisia. Lakanoissa oli hiuksia, liekö edes vaihdettu. Suihkussa oli todella kylmä ja lisäksi suihkupään kiinnike oli rikki eli sitä ei saanut ylös lainkaan. Kaiken kukkaraksi pesuaineet oli loppu ja lattiakaivo ei vetänyt = uima-allas jota ei pitänyt olla. Hotelli joka mainostaa olevansa neljän tähden niin tällaista kokemusta en odottanut ja hintalappu pysäköintineen yhdelle yölle yli 200€. En suosittele kenellekään.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Hade bokat via Booking och på deras informatio och er egen står det inget om att "traditionella" för 2 personer ligger på de tr3 första våningarna. med 0 utsikt. Men med lite "tjat" eftersom vi skulle på där i 6 nätter så blev vi uppgraderade.
Gärna frukosten kan utvecklas, gärna lax keso och få grädda egna våfflor.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Modern, comfortable, spacious room. Very nice, helpful front staff. Perfect location for taking the tour into the Kiruna mine. The meeting point was just a couple of steps away.
The breakfast looked really good but it was a Sunday and very crowded - long lines, no place to sit. It was a bit tricky to find a parking spot since the parking lot was full, but I guess this will become easier when the construction will be finished.
