Reviewed Aug 23, 2026The place is in the middle of Giron and the building is a colonial house with nice plants and unique atmosphere inside. The room was spacious with a balcony and really comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff was really helpful. We had a special event and the staff helped us to find transport.
All good. Only thing is that the main entrance is closed most of the time and you need to ring the bell. They could give keys that also open the main entrance. This is a minor inconvenience tho.

Problemen bij het inchecken, onze boeking bleek niet correct te zijn geregistreerd ondanks bevestiging. Daardoor kregen we niet de gevraagde kamers naast elkaar. De 3p-kamer is met een deur gescheiden van een andere kamer, waar mensen logeerden die graag TV keken, wat het erg gehorig maakte en lastig slapen.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026From the outside, only a white fassade with a dark wooden, door. from the inside a precious small gem in a colonial style building. Breakfast is served in a open space, birds are humming. The rooms are nice, and cool (important in Giron) :) Wonderful friendly staff. The hotel is located right beside the main square, several bars and hotels just a moment away. Taxis usually right in front of the house and next to the hotel you will also find a private parking (closed after 9p.m.) For visiting Bucaramanga, it is a 30 minutes (15km) taxi ride.

Reviewed May 19, 2026El hotel esta ubicado a 1/2 cuadra de la plaza central de girón , però no tiene cerca establecimientos que generen ruido durante la noche o el dia lo cual lo hace un sitio muy tranquilo , esta muy central a la zonas turísticas del pueblo. El desayuno es tipico de la región y muy completo, el personal es amable .

Podría ser un excelente hotel pero es muy sucio y descuidado. Se nota que no saben hacer la limpieza. Las tomas, paredes, y el control sucio de mugre acumulado con el tiempo. El baño olía mal. Entonces es un comentario para mejorar porque es un hospedaje con potencial y no es barato.

En la noche las personas del segundo piso hicieron un poco de ruido moviendo sillas, pero fue algo pasajero.

La atención puede mejorar en el recibo del huésped, ayudar con maletas, estar atento a la retirada del huésped para apoyarle en algo que necesite. La iglesia está cerca, si tienes problemas con el sueño por sonidos es posible escuches las campanas desde temprano en la madrugada.

Reviewed Jul 27, 2025We were genuinely surprised – and not in a good way – by the overall treatment. This is a small boutique hotel in Girón, yet they act as if they were a Hilton. Right after booking, we received a message saying we had to pay within 30 minutes or the reservation would not be valid. That number is only for payments – if you want to notify them of your arrival time, they tell you that’s not the right contact and offer no alternative. You can message via Booking, of course, but it’s a strange and unwelcoming experience. Breakfast is only from 6 to 8 am (absurdly early, with no flexibility), and there’s a big sign at reception saying "If you stay after checkout (12 pm), you’ll be charged for the full next night." The tone and communication throughout felt unreasonably harsh. The hotel itself is nice – clean rooms, decent breakfast – but the overall attitude really takes away from the experience. Would really suggest to start treating guests in a nice manner.

Pas de clef pour la porte extérieure ce qui oblige tout le monde à sonner même tard le soir. Avoir été obligé d’intervenir pour que certains clients n’occupent pas bruyamment la salle à manger le soir.

Reviewed May 27, 2025I am so thankful someone recommended staying in Giron since it was closer to the airport. The taxi very quickly took us to the hotel and we were greeted right away. The location is fantastic and Giron is a cute little town with a lively square. We were there on a weekend so families were all together eating food from the vendors. The hotel is clean and the breakfast was great. Would highly recommend.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2025Really well located in the city with a private parking lot available very close by. Our room was clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the air conditioning. The breakfast was tasty & it was nice it was available early since we had to take off before 7:00am.
This is a minor thing and not exclusive to this property, but the cold LED lighting is a little harsh & off-putting. I would suggest using warmer LEDs for a more welcoming effect. Also, heads up that you'll want to probably bring earplugs as this property is located close to a church. Very loud bells started ringing for at least 30 seconds at 5:00am.
