Friendly staff, complimentary rum punch on entry, and a spacious room with a comfy bed and a balcony? I couldn’t have asked for a better stay! I was there on a one-night business trip, and would definitely stay again. The hotel’s also just a 5min walk to shopping centers, pharmacy and restaurants which was super convenient.

Wry nice property, quite location off of main street not to hear noises, yet in close proximity to Boardwalk for all kids of restaurants. Enjoyed our stay.

Try to stay on a friday night when the hospitality students and staff offer a wonderful multi course dinner for a very reasonable price. It was the highlight of our stay in Bridgetown.

Simple but adequate hotel near to the main road. Quiet surroundings. Dining places nearby. ZR vans transport close by. Friendly staff. It is a training institute, so there are a lot of young trainees. They were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast wasn't fancy, but quite sufficient. Ask for toast if you want. A bottle of wine was the VIP perk, but I was not able to get late check-out or upgrade as it was fully booked.

Great location by board walk and restaurants. Luxurious room. Friendly staff. Could not be happier.

The arrival process was a bit slow as when I arrived, I had to wait for a front office clerk to come. Rooms were very clean, but the bed was hard and pillows small for my taste. The breakfast was good and security were very nice

Nothing in the description of this hotel said it is a hospitality college. The hotel side seems secondary. I particularly chose the hotel as it has a pool. Nice pool area but only 3 sun beds and nowhere to get a drink! Restaurant only had limited menu and closed at 8 pm. Breakfast mediocre - hot choices were not very hot, no bread, sometimes small croissant, sometimes yoghurt. Only found out after about 3 days you could order toast. Hotel designed with all rooms facing outwards, so great view of the car park rather than the pool area. Good location, near beach, shops and other places to eat.

I recently stayed at PomMarine Hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel has a student-oriented atmosphere, which is reflected in its service—decent but not exceptional. The rooms have a traditional, older design, lacking USB ports, which might be inconvenient for modern travelers. Additionally, the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, which impacted the overall stay. However, considering the price point, it offers good value. If you’re looking for an affordable stay and don’t mind a more traditional setup, PomMarine is a reasonable option.

Great location just off the main street so very accessible without the noise in the traffic. We chose this place because it’s affiliation with the hospitality Institute and the smaller size which typically is more personalized which this definitely was. The included breakfast was delicious with some variety and a lot of options. We received an upgraded room and a bottle of wine and be treated as special VIPs, but I think everyone received that type of attention and service. The pool was cool and clean in the lobby very spacious and comfortable.

We were at PomMarine for just one night before embarking on a cruise. The hotel staff was great. It is an older property. It's a short walk to the seashore.

The hotel has a beautiful ambiance, and one male front desk staff member stood out for his professionalism and willingness to answer my questions clearly and respectfully. Unfortunately, my overall experience was overshadowed by instances of unprofessional, rude, and inconsiderate behavior from other staff members. Noise was a recurring issue during my stay. A cleaning staff member spoke loudly with another employee while working in the room next to mine, disrupting my sleep. Additionally, room service knocked aggressively on my door as early as 9 a.m., and the lawn was mowed at 7 a.m., creating unnecessary disturbances. I chose this hotel based on a friend's recommendation and its affiliation with a hospitality institute, which set my expectations high for professionalism and courtesy. Unfortunately, these expectations were not met. Upon check-in, the kitchen staff was dismissive when I asked about the breakfast menu, responding, “I don’t know.” A more appropriate response would have been, “The menu changes daily, but we typically offer options like x, y, and z.” Furthermore, there appeared to be little consideration for plant-based or vegetarian guests, which was disappointing. When I reported the noise issue to the front desk, they notified the staff, but rather than addressing the matter professionally, I overheard a staff member outside my door saying, “Who the hell does she think she is?” This comment was shocking and disrespectful. This was a great place to stay! Our welcome was exceptional and the host was very informative about the hotel/institute. A unique stay for us with so many restaurants, bars and things to do within walking distance. We really liked this place!

This hospitality hotel is really great with very friendly staff and manager. The only small issue is that the hotel restaurant closes very early. So, you would require to walk to the main road where restaurants can be found. Overall, great experience and keep up the training of your students!

Our stay at this hotel (PomMarine) was awesome. We were pleasantly surprised with the VIP room upgrade. The facility was very accommodating. Everyone, from the front desk receptionist to the restaurant staff and house keeper were extremely friendly, professional and respectful. We really enjoyed our 4 days at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was very quiet and the staff always so pleasant and helpful. I believe they should have more option varieties with their menu and make it more flexible; also I believe their dining ending times are too early

This was a nice hotel. My only suggestion would be to beautify the outside with some flowers and plants or maybe some decorative lights.

Decent place for the price

Parking lots was across public road and no leveling for rolling bags slopes. No signs for entry and exit on driveway. Entrance on room was differant level than floor. I almost tripped twice. Coffee maker machine had no coffee filters. Cannot drink coffee without filter. There was no active exhaust fan in bathroom. Humidity after shower stayed for hours. TV screen was small and not mounted on wall higher level. Unwanted sounds for maintainance or something else were coming often. Breakfast serving person needed much improvement and was very conservative in serving etc.

A thoroughly pleasant stay. The hotel staff are all welcoming and friendly. There are small things that would have improved the stay - a more communal bar area and a fridge in the room. Otherwise, a great budget option in a beautiful part of Barbados.

Our stay was great!!

The beds are hard and the pillows EXTREMLY hard..gave me hard time to sleep. The light in the hall way stays on and tlight enters the room..so i couldnt sleep

This hotel was very clean. As it's a hospitality school, most of the staff are students, all of whom were friendly and really tried hard to be accommodating! Our room was large, bathroom was clean, pool area was very nice. Breakfast felt a little like a high school cafeteria complete with hair net lunch lady. Juice pitchers were empty and not refilled. Coffee wasn't hot. Very minimal options but what we had was ok. Overall, it was a decent hotel for one night, but I don't think I would want to stay there for a prolonged stay.

Hotel Needs upgrading! Housekeeping woke us up at 8am :( The Hotel was close to restaurants so that was the best thing about it.

This is the official hotel for the island's hospitality school so the service is very attentive. I liked the "old world" efficiency and quietness.

I loved that this property was the training ground for students at Barbados Community College and the Hospitality INstitute.

We had a nice day from the 13th to the 16th of me, it had a great service the rooms were comfy and home lake. Nice staff would recommend

Great place to stay. It is not on the beach, but it is in a great location a short walk to the boardwalk. The staff are great. We loved the breakfast. Rooms are clean and the balcony was an added bonus. We would return. The hotel is also a teaching hotel for students on the island.

Nice location, half way to the cruise port and airport. Clean and in safe area. You can walk to the beach in few minutes. The only thing I was disappointed was the breakfast. They run out of food by the time we get the breakfast area and less choices. But aside from that I pick the right hotel just for overnight before the cruise departure.

It was gine, nothing amazing.
