Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Sehr schönes und grosses Zimmer, schön eingerichtet. Grosses Badezimmer, Da wurde einiges investiert. Freundliche Eigentümerin. Das Haus liegt zwar an einer stark befahrenen Strasse, aber die Fenster halten allen Lärm ab und wir konnten das Fenster zum Garten öffnen. Alles in allem sehr gute Unterkunft.
Man bekommt eine 7seitige Dokumentation und lange Self-Eincheck-Informationen. Ich habe nicht verstanden, was für mich relevant ist und was nicht. Am Ende war es aber ganz einfach. 1.an der Steasse parkieren 2. Code füt Haustüre ist letzte 4 Stellen der eigenen Tel-Nr. 3. Schlüssel fürs Zimmer am Schlüsselbrett nehmen 4. Fernbedienung nutzen für die Einfahrt zum Hof und Auto dort abstellen

Le jardin, la terrasse mais aussi tous les petits détails décoratifs qui constituent un cadre vraiment charmant ! Le parking privatif même si la route qui est devant la maison dispose de places gratuites...

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Un très bel emplacement à quelques munites du centre ville et pas loin du bord de la Meuse. Très calme et un style un peu vintage. Tout inspire le calme et la tranquillité.
Cependant. j'ai été très déçu par la chambre. Celle-ci ne correspondait pas vraiment à la description sur la réservation. Pas de tv, pas de frigo dans la.chambre, mais juste un minifrigo partagé à plusieurs. dans la cuisine; juste un ventilateur à la place d'une climatisation comme indiqué pendant la réservation ! Une seule table de chevet sur un des deux côtés du lit pour une sois=distante "chambre de luxe"! Bref, je n'ai pas eu l'impression d'occuper la chambre que j'avais réservée et pour le prix que j'avais payé.

Je dirais même que le plus cadeau que je puisse faire au prochain client de ce lieu c’est la totale surprise. À commencer par la propriétaire qui est l’esprit l’âme du lieu et qui se rend toujours disponible même quand ce n’est pas le bon moment.Elle est souriante, elle est vivante et quand on est prit dans ses yeux … on vole nous aussi

There is parking for motorcycle around the back & access via a gate out of sight. The town is not too far. A nice walk along the river. I would highly recommend staying at Le jardin des secrets.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026I was very lucky to stumble across this property when motorcycle touring. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, clean, and generously sized. There is plenty of secure parking. The kitchen is available for guests to use and there are plenty of places to eat nearby if preferred. The host is very welcoming and communication was seamless.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026L’hôtesse est très aimable et souriante, c’est la première fois qu’on prend une chambre d’hôte, il faut aimer finalement nous on préfère les logement seul ça me met pas trop à l’aise d’être chez quelqu’un mais c’est personnel. En dehors de cela tout est très bien organisé, propre, accueillant et de très bon goût !
Il aurait manqué une TV dans la chambre. Le pommeau de douche manque un peu de pression

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025Tout est au top, l'emplacement, les équipements sont exceptionnels, nous n'avons jamais eu aussi bien (une vraie cuisine). Très belles terrasses. La nuit est calme. Notre hôte était charmante et elle place la barre haute.
Rien de dramatique, il y a quelques passages bas à l'étage sous poutre, si vous êtes très grand ça pourrait vous déranger.

The host provided lots useful and clear information on everything. It helped us a lot during our stay. When we go to Namur again, we will definitely stay here again.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2024This is the most beautiful place to stay at! The house and the garden are wonderful. Everything is designed and decorated with such a devotion to detail and the breakfast was the best we had during our whole trip. Evelyn welcomed us into her home and gave us a great recommendation for a lovely place to eat at the river nearby. Her mother was there as well and made us feel right at home. Our personal highlight were the two dogs and the cat, that made us want to stay in the garden the whole evening, we even missed the beautiful citadel of Namur, so we definitely have to come back one day and stay again at Evelyn's wonderful house.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2023A beautiful accommodation in a tranquil setting close to town and the citadel. The room was comfortable and the bathroom exceptional with bath and shower and plenty of space. Hosts were extremely kind, helpful and welcoming. There is a lovely garden to explore and a comfortable sitting room in the main house. The property is close to a pretty stretch of the Meuse , walking and cycling are more or less from the doorstep. The breakfast was exceptional - home made jams, crumbles, clafoutis, local cheeses and charcuterie.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2023The breakfast (oh the breakfast!), the lovely furry friends, the garden, the rooms, the rainshowers, the cleanliness, the fact that we could relax like at home and yet still with a feeling of understated luxury with every small detail thought of. Most of all the people, in particular the hostess and her team, but also the other guests. We had 3 little children with us and not once were we made to feel that we were a nuissance, quite the opposite. Thank you for everything, we will be back again, no doubt!
We truly couldn't fault anything at all. Evelyne and her team go over and beyond for their guests.

The communication was fantastic event though the owner was on her vacation! Evelyne made sure we are taken cared of! Breakfast was tasty and they served us delicious homemade pastries. Rivaldi and Luna was the sweetest pup ever!
The only concern that kids had was the temperature in their room. But everything was perfect.
