CUBES ON THE BEACH Athens Airport

We only stayed one night as we needed a property close to the airport (we would have been happy to stay longer), but were impressed by the design and facilities, with a balcony and large windows looking out to sea. We liked the small, low-key, beach directly opposite the apartment which was well used by local people - with more developed beach front tavernas etc a short walk further down the shore. Communication with the hosts and access, via a key box, were very efficient and the building felt very well managed, with plentiful information about on-site facilities and local amenities.

Location, facilities, everything is fantastic. The sea is directly east of the building so while a sea view is very nice, it gets too hot facing the sun most of the day and your balcony may not be of much use other than to dry your clothes. Perhaps choose one of the units that faces west?

a full size mirror would be nice to have in the rooms. Low shower pressure, not sure if anything can be done about that.

Being right on the beach, views, proximity to the airport. The reception looked after our requests, professional and courteous.

This is a beautiful property and unique in design. It was very new and clean. Just feet from the ocean, there is a sandy and rocky shoreline less than 100 feet away. Huge windows with power shades. Couch very easily folds down into bed. Very comfortable as well. Perfect place to stay for multiple days or if you need to catch a flight the next morning.

We had a pleasant stay here. The location is very convenient if you are looking for somewhere close to the airport without having to go into Athens, and being near the sea was a nice bonus. We especially appreciated the complimentary treats provided by the property, and having a private veranda made our stay even more enjoyable. The beach area is within walking distance, where you can also find several restaurants and places to eat. Overall, it is a very good choice for a short stay, especially before or after a flight when you want to stay close to the airport.

We only stayed for a short time, so we didn’t experience any particular issues during our stay.

Peaceful location with a lovely sea view. Everything was very clean, comfortable and well considered.

Not too much in terms of restaurants within walking distance (cafes and restaurants by the water).

Staff were very friendly, room was lovely, very relaxing outside sunbathing.

Korrekt, segítőkész házigazda és recepciósok! Gyönyörű, kényelmes, tiszta apartman, nagyon szép, igazi pihenésre alkalmas környezetben. Jóval hamarabb érkeztünk 14 óra előtt, de a szobánkat már elfoglalhattuk, és kijelentkezésünk után még jó pár órát eltölthettünk a pihenő részlegen. Ide biztosan vissza fogunk térni!

Comfortable, well-run stay right after landing. The airport transfer was smooth; the driver messaged me on WhatsApp shortly after I landed and we stayed in touch until we met outside. Loved the little breakfast touch: toast with jam and a juice box. Great value for the standard on offer, and the staff were excellent throughout.

Nothing major. I’d hoped for a morning sea swim, but the heat and the beach itself weren’t quite what I expected, so more a personal expectation than a fault of the property.

Znakomite miejsce. W obiekcie czysto, wszystko nowe, przy samej plaży, miły i pomocny personel. W pokoju jest wszystko co potrzeba. Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce.

The property was very clean and comfortable.

There are two ways to get there - it's not exactly close to the airport, but Uber can take you the long way and charge you too much.

We've spent two days here before meeting some friends for a trip to Porto Cheli area. We really enjoyed it. Great facilities and great staff! Very quite and underdeveloped area but nice walking distance along the shore to good eateries for breakfast and dinner. We also enjoyed swimming right in front of the apartment -- one thing that was not so much clear from the previous comments here (although some photos hint at it): The beach may often look unattractive due to thick layers of seaweed (or similar) sweeping the shore, but these are harmless floating pieces, perhaps not appealing to the eye but not at all disturbing. Once you take 10-15 steps into the water, you reach clear waters (while still shallow) and then it's perfectly pleasent to swim. The shower right at the entrance of the complex and the area with sunbeds make it very convenient to get in and out of water. We would highly recommend this place for those looking for a place close to the airport.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und die Zimmer genial eingerichtet. Alles war durchdacht und die Lage direkt am Meer bevor man am nächsten Morgen zum Flughafen muss ein absoluter Bonus. Das Bad ist schön und gross, die Betten sind bequem und der TV einer der grössten der gesamten Reise. Wir würden sofort wieder dort bleiben um in der Nähe des Flughafens eine tolle Unterkunft zu haben. Die Küchenausstattung ist ebenfalls optimal wenn man sich noch etwas zubereiten möchte.

Ótima localização, de frente para o mar, próximo ao comércio e restaurantes, estacionamento no local, recepção até às 22h. Limpeza nota 10. Quarto confortável com vista para o mar.

Great.location next to the beach. Highly recommend!

Great, quiet location right across from the beach! I stayed here for one night at the end of my trip because it was a short drive to the airport the next morning but I would definitely stay here if I visit again. It feels more authentic than the touristy city center of Athens, and there are some great restaurants right on the sand just a short walk away. Reception was very helpful with providing information about check in and assisting me with setting up transportation both to and from the airport which I really appreciated as it helped make my stay so easy. Room was clean with a spacious bathroom unlike most places I stayed during my time in Greece, and had a cute private attached balcony. They also offered me a beach towel at no cost. Highly recommend!

Everything was great! If I had to give a suggestion I would say offering spf for sale at the reception would be very convenient but not a big deal.

Die Lage ist perfekt, sehr nahe am Meer, nur 100m , wir konnten das Meer direkt von der Trassee sehen, schade das wir nur eine Übernachtung gebucht haben, wir haben über die Unterkunft ein Transfer zum Flughafen gebucht, alles super geklappt, würden wir jederzeit wieder tun, aber dann für länger als nur eine Nacht, sehr zu empfehlen.

The cubes on the beach est un petit bijou pour un séjour paisible à proximité d'Athènes. Le parking permet d'être tranquille, le personnel est très disponible, les logements n'ont pas de vis à vis entre eux. La mer est juste devant, on peut se baigner. Tout est super, le logement propre, fonctionnel, petit balcon hyper sympa, literie de grande qualité Très proche des commerces et du bus, à 15 minutes de l'aéroport et 20 minutes d'un parking relais/métro Nomismatokopio ligne 1 vers Athènes. Et en même temps on a l'impression d'être bercé par la mer le soir.

Seul bémol évidemment puisque c'est à 15 minutes, le survol sonore des avions mais très franchement ce n'est pas gênant car le bruit des vagues permet de ne pas y prêter attention.

It’s modern, well equipped, clean, good price, convenient. Great location. What’s not to like?

That's probably the best place you can stay in this neighbourhood in Artemida. It connects advantages of both hotel and Airbnb. It's really private and peaceful but also there's a long open reception with the staff always ready to help you. You can also call for snacks or drinks. The area is calm and quiet but it's close to shops, restaurants and bus stops (we appreciated the little map in the room!). The road to Athens takes about an hour by bus. We enjoyed the view - the nearest beach was just across the road. There were also many sandy beaches nearby. The room wasn't big but it looked exactly like in the pictures, so it was no surprise. It was enough for three people. It had quite high standard with modern quality. It was VERY clean inside. We got towels, soap and some free snacks waiting for us

The only minus I could think of is that the kitchennette is really small. For a little breakfast and a coffee it was great. But if someone is planning to eat only at their place and cook full meals, it could be not enough

I liked the view, the staff are friendly offering help and towels if we need to go to the beach, good value, the location was good also. We saw some swans swimming in the morning .

Some bees and flys outside the terrace which we couldn’t open our balcony door to enjoy it. But inside the room was ok, the toilet is good but the shower head has low water pressure but it was manageable to shower with it.

Close to airport--used taxi transfer service to/from airport. Nice little beach in front of property. Owners were very helpful. Tasty chicken souvlaki place at top of road.

空港から近く、フライト前後の宿泊にとても便利でした。チェックイン・チェックアウトもスムーズで分かりやすかったです。ホテルの目の前が海で、部屋や周辺からの景色もとても良く、リラックスして過ごせました。施設全体も清潔感があり快適でした。

周辺にはスーパーやレストランが少なく、食事や買い物の選択肢は限られています。短期滞在向きだと思います。

W apartamencie było bardzo czysto. Ogromnym atutem były zapewnione podstawowe produkty śniadaniowe, kawa, herbata, woda. Widok z tarasu piękny, personel recepcji sympatyczny, pytali np czy potrzebujemy sprzątania/zmiany pościeli. Bez problemu mogliśmy się zameldować po północy, a po wymeldowaniu zostawić na kilka godzin bagaże w recepcji.

We stayed here for two nights en route from the UK to Paros, to meet up with an old friend who lives locally and wanted somewhere close to the airport but away from the madding crowd; we found it. The hotel is located in a quiet location and the room was very comfortable with a small kitchenette and a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The owner and staff were excellent being very friendly and most helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There was a lovely bakery and a few eateries a short distance from the hotel with more choices in the main town about 10-15 minutes walk away.

Getting around the neighbourhood was quite difficult for my wife, (who is in a wheelchair), due to the poor quality or lack of pavements but this is fairly typical of Greece and other places we have visited. However, we made it work and the staff were superb at offering their help.

Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war außergewöhnlich sauber – man hat sich vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die traumhafte Lage, die sowohl Ruhe als auch eine wunderschöne Aussicht geboten hat. Die Betten waren unglaublich bequem, sodass wir jede Nacht hervorragend geschlafen haben. Auch die Einrichtung verdient ein großes Lob: sehr geschmackvoll, modern und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – genau die richtige Mischung aus Stil und Gemütlichkeit. Man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und das Wohlbefinden der Gäste gelegt wird. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Very far from Athens attractions, which I should have looked into before I booked. So it was 60 minutes in public transit to Athens center and 90 minutes back (in the evening). Nonetheless, its proximity to the airport was a good balance to the distance from the Acropolis etc…

ich war nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise dort - wenn ich etwaskritisieren könnte, wäre es das Wetter (kühl, regnerisch) - aber dafür kann die Unterkunft wirklich nichts!

Clean and well equipped. Excellent communication from staff. Right on sandy beach for kids to play. Walking distance to restaurants and larger beach. Building has a reception with some items for sale and advise as required. Highly recommended.
