Toilets didn’t flush the entire stay. We had to use the men’s restrooms, not the biggest problem with that until they started clogging either. Bathrooms weren’t cleaned until we asked. The room is so incredibly tiny, it was very uncomfortable with 2 people. There was never anyone at reception.

​I must agree with previous negative reviews regarding the highly unprofessional and rude behavior of the owner and staff when dealing with issues. During my stay, a disruptive roommate brought a large, extremely noisy external fan into our shared room and ignored my polite requests to turn it down. Since there was no night staff available to help, I was forced to sleep in another empty room to get some rest. The next morning, the cleaning lady aggressively yelled at me for sleeping there. ​When I tried to explain the situation to the owner, he became hostile, demanded extra money, and threatened to call the police. Although the staff ultimately acknowledged that the fan was not allowed in the room, they unfairly labeled me as the problem and ordered me to leave the premises immediately. I refused to pay any unjust fees because my assigned room was effectively unusable. I strongly recommend avoiding this hostel, as any issues you encounter will likely be met with aggression and unnecessary drama.

THE LOCATION WAS SECLUDED PRIVATE,AND A T THE SAME TIME CLOSE TO MANY THNGS.MY ROOM DIDNT HAVE A VIEW,BED WAS COMFORTABLE,AC NICE,MY MAIN PROBLEM WAS THE OVERALL PROPERTY,IT HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL,THE KITCHEN IS POORLY KEPT AND THE POOL WATER WAS HEAVY THE STAFF IS 10 OUT OF 10,VERY PLESANT AND EASY TO GET ALONG WITH,THE PRICE IS OK BUT THE ROOMS NEEDS A LITTLE MORE POSH(A ART FRAME,A COMFORTABLE SEAT,A LITTLE SOMETHING TO MAKE IT FEEL LIKE HOME)...ID GO BACK BUT HOPEFULLY MANAGEMNENT BRIGS THE PROPERTY TO ITS FULL POTENTIAL.

Gostei da área, muito espaçosa e arborizada. O local é muito bonito.

Da localização: muito distante das praias, sendo necessário usar táxi. Também achei que a propriedade deveria ser mais bem cuidada .

We weren't able to stay here due to personal reasons however the front desk receptionist was wonderful! She is friendly, warm and has excellent customer service. The property is extremely beautiful with fruit trees, lights in the trees and honestly was wonderfully planned out. There cottages are beautiful and even though we didn't stay we would rebook to stay another time.

The room we booked was waaay too small for our liking. It didn't have an AC nor a fan and was extremely hot on the inside. We did however receive a full refund which we were grateful for.

Ambiance, the room, a lot of nature and very relaxing. Outside shower was a plus in the room.Staff were friendly and were not over intrusive.

One light in the bedroom did not work. The pool needed a clean but was usable, there was a live rat noted in the pool.

Stayed in a mixed dorm as a solo female traveler. Unfortunately, I was the only woman in a room with four men (I briefly saw another female guest, but she was leaving). Towels and clean sheets were provided, which I appreciated, although I chose to sleep on top of the bedding. Bathroom: This was the most challenging part of the stay. The floor flooded every time someone showered, leaving the bath mat constantly soaked. Lighting was very poor, making it difficult to use at night. The toilet is positioned very close to the door, which makes it uncomfortable, and many guests left the door open while using it. There is no shower curtain separating the bathroom from the dorm, so privacy is very limited. As the only female, I had to carefully plan when to use the bathroom and did not feel entirely safe. Kitchen: The communal kitchen was usable but not very clean. There were bugs, roaches, and lizards (which may be expected in a tropical climate). There are two fridges, but only one was in use. Security: The entrance has a code system, which is easy to use. However, the door was often left unlocked, which made it feel insecure. Pool & common areas: The pool area is a nice place to relax and is relatively quiet, but the pool itself did not appear well maintained, with leaves and bugs in it. Extras: Reception has a small shop and fridge for basic supplies, which is convenient. Overall: I would only recommend this place for a one-night stay or as a stopgap. It may suit travelers used to basic hostel environments, but as a solo female traveler, I did not feel safe or comfortable staying here.

Das Gelände an sich ist schön und die Mitarbeiterin am Empfang war nett. Der Inhaber ist uns entgegengekommen. Wenn man zu Ricks Café möchte ist die Lage perfekt.

Die Lage ist ohne Auto eher unpraktisch. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und nicht sonderlich sauber (Haare auf dem Bett) und es gibt fast keine Möglichkeiten, etwas aufzuhängen oder abzulegen. Im Badezimmer für Frauen war nur eine der zwei Toiletten nutzbar und diese war dauerhaft verschmutzt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt von 5 auf eine Nacht gekürzt. Die gesamte Anlage ist etwas runtergekommen.

Close to restaurants. They let me pick a nice quit location in their yard. The people working there were helpful. Great place to stay if you are trying to avoid the party scene and just relax. Beautiful gardens, very zen.

We booked two villas for my 50th birthday last year and 30 minutes before leaving I had a call to say the villas were double booked very last minute We ended up having to share a villa so it just wasn’t what we wanted and spoiled our visit

Tudo…foi a MAIOR decepção e gasto que eu tive. Piscina suja Banheiro porco e mofado O chuveiro não funciona, sai pouquíssima agua O hostel é atrás de um desmanche, e a noite parecia que estávamos sozinhas la, pois só tinha minha amigas e 1 cara, a sensação era de abandono Para melhorar, choveu um pouco e esse pouco foi suficiente para acabar a luz…o proprietário tinha gerador APENAS para ele e não para os hospedes, então ficamos sem luz e sem agua pois precisa de energia para a bomba de agua funcionar. A jamaica é extremamente quente, sou brasileira e minha cultura é de banho 2x ao dia, então imagina o caos. No segundo dia de hospedagem fui embora e sem ele devolver o dinheiro, pois ele anuncia que tem eletricidade, chuveiro, higiene mas é uma PROPAGANDA ENGANOSA Por favor, guarde um pouco mais de dinheiro e migrem para o hotel “Coco La Palm” que é EXCELENTE!

The staff were very helpful and friendly , they were like family and I’m a solo female traveler and I didn’t have anything to worry about. They made sure that I was ok daily and gave me many recommendations for food and entertainment and activities to do in the area. They checked daily to see if I needed room cleans and also to make sure that my stay was going ok. Will def be back

Wonderful rustic charm in beautiful grounds. Opposite Rick's Cafe as well as local eateries nearby. Tranquil place to relax. Loved it! Big up to Alicia....wonderful woman where nothing was too much trouble.

Direkt gegenüber Rick's Cafe wenn mann vorhat dort vorbeizuschauen. Anlage am Abend nett beleuchtet. Personal war auch freundlich!

Zimmer sehr klein. Hatten ein Bungalow gleich am Eingang. Poolliegen waren von 6 Stück 4 Defekt. Pool sehr trüb... WC war undicht. Bei jeden Spülgang verlor es Schmutzwasser. Für ein Hostel evtl. OK. Aber Preis-Leistung für das Bungalow stimmt nicht.

Das Personal ist einfach fantastisch, die Location mit dem riesigen Garten ein echter Rückzugsort, total ruhig obwohl es so nah zu Rick's Café liegt (direkt gegenüber). Die Lage ist perfekt, in Nähe zu mehreren Restaurants, Bars, Kioske und Mini-Markets. Der grosse Aufenthalts-Bereich gibt die besten Voraussetzungen eine tolle Zeit mit den anderen Gästen zu verbringen und generell ist alles vorhanden was man braucht.

Die Gemeinschafts-Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein (Kaffeekocher, Papiertücher, ...), aber nichts gravierendes.

os chuveiros deixaram muito a desejar, e a piscina não estava propria para uso. Alem disso passamos por um problema de falta de energia em um dia, onde o local não tinha geradores o que dificultou mais ainda o uso da ducha.

It would be better if guests were given fresh towels every morning, and if there were lights by the pool. It's very dark and hazardous by the pool at night. Also more toilet paper and hand soap for the bathrooms would be great. Thank you!!

Un hostal muy lindo y bien ubicado, en una zona muy segura, frente al famoso Rick’s Café, cercano a muchos restaurantes y con un excelente punto de abastecimiento (Value Mac). Por solo 200 JMD se puede llegar fácilmente en route taxi a Seven Mile Beach. La piscina es espectacular (y tuve la suerte de disfrutarla prácticamente solo todo el día, ya que casi no había huéspedes durante mi estadía). Cocina muy bien equipada, personal amable que entrega buenos consejos, y lockers para mantener las pertenencias seguras. Relación calidad-precio: 10/10.

La conexión wifi es inestable y se corta con frecuencia. El calor en Jamaica puede ser muy intenso, por lo que sugeriría considerar la instalación de aire acondicionado. Aunque en general fui tratado muy bien, el último día me sentí incómodo al momento de hacer el check-out. Pregunté si podía quedarme en la sala de estar hasta la hora de mi bus (Knutsford Express) que salía a las 12:30 pm; siendo las 11:30 am, Alicia insistió en que mi estadía había terminado y que debía salir de inmediato. Finalmente, tuve que esperar en la calle hasta la hora de mi transporte.

Wir hatten zuerst zwei Zimmer und haben dann ein Upgrade in Anspruch genommen. Ein Haus mit allem was man braucht. Küche, Mikrowelle, Klima, Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank und eine schöne Freiluftdusche mit heißem Wasser. Der Pool war auch super. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Das einzige was hier nicht gestimmt hat war der Preis für den Wäsche Service (Laundry). 20 USD für eine Wäsche ist überteuert. Wir waren leider 2 x darauf angewiesen. In Montego Bay hatten wir noch 6 USD bezahlt.
