Wat een ongelofelijke en heerlijke plek om te logeren, baad je in luxe alles gewoon top voor elkaar. Een familie bedrijf en Igor is een uitstekende enthousiaste host. Ontbijt echt geweldig. Absolute aanrader voor kort verblijf of ontspannen weekendje Sao Pedro de Moel.

Hotel de 5 habitaciones, espacio super aprovechado, y decoración con mucho gusto. El personal es encantador. Desayuno perfecto. Piscina climatizada y sauna individual como extra sobre un hotel ya perfecto. Está en un pueblecito costero muy cuqui y poco explotado por el turismo.

Das Joy Beach House ist ein ganz außergewöhnliches, super cool designtes Boutique Hotel. Die Atmosphäre ist ebenso hervorragend wie das Ambiente - nicht zu vergessen das Frühstück. Vor allem aber sind es die Mitarbeiter des Hotels, die den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem machen.

Sehr schöne mediterrane Einrichtung mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Ort der Ruhe und Entspannung mit toller Aussicht auf den Ort und das Meer.

Amazing, lovely property in a calm neighborhood. Igor is an amazing host, taking care of everything. And his mom bakes the best apple pie for breakfast!

La struttura é un’oasi di pace e di tranquillità. Gli spazi e il design sono molto curati e offrono un ottimo rifugio anche quando il tempo fuori non é dei migliori. La colazione, l’area bar e la sauna sono i servizi plus che abbiamo apprezzato. La vista sull’oceano é imperdibile così come l’area intorno ricca di spiagge - servite e non - e sentieri per belle passeggiate. Ci vediamo presto per surfare insieme!

Chambre : La chambre était très agréable, avec une décoration qui inspire véritablement le calme et la détente. Petit-déjeuner : Le petit-déjeuner était un vrai plus, avec notamment l'option œufs et bacon préparés à la commande, sur le moment même — un délice et une attention appréciable. Personnel : Le personnel s'est montré discret et attentionné, sans jamais être envahissant, ce qui a contribué à une ambiance détendue tout au long du séjour. En résumé : Un séjour très agréable, entre une chambre reposante, un petit-déjeuner de qualité et un personnel aux petits soins sans être intrusif. Nous recommandons cet hébergement.

Un parking propre à l'hôtel serait vraiment appréciable, cela faciliterait grandement le séjour des voyageurs en voiture.

Der Ort ist auf dem absteigenden Ast. Nicht viel Infrastruktur, kaum Restaurants, eine Bar. Auch das Hotel ist ein wenig abgewohnt.

Excelente lugar para disfrutar de unos días de relajación . El personal de lo mejor que nos hemos encontrado en todos nuestros viajes . Tanto en la llegada como en los desayuno como en los masajes . Se merecen todos un 10z además de un alojamiento con un gusto exquisito en decoración y detalles

Fantástico hotel-boutique en este pueblecito tranquilo de la costa atlántica portuguesa. Pocas habitaciones con encanto y decoración delicada. Tranquilidad absoluta junto a un trato por parte del personal excepcional. Ubicación a un paso de todo. Buen desayuno. Gran descubrimiento al que volveremos sin duda!

We hadden een fantastisch verblijf! Joy beach House is met smaak ingericht, heel veel leuke terassen waardoor je altijd wel een plaatsje zon of schaduw vindt. Het ontbijt is vers en uitgebreid. De host en het personeel doen hun uiterste best om het naar je zin te maken. Er is een centrale lounge plaats en een honesty bar waar je koffie, thee, frisdranken, wijn, enz... kan nemen. Er zijn 5 kamers waardoor het lijkt alsof je "thuis' bent. De kamers zijn mooi, heel goede bedden en ondanks het ontbreken van airco is het verrassend fris. Ik wil zeker terugkomen!

A Joy Beach House é um labor of love. Uma casa com uma decoração impecável, sustentável e inteiramente enquadrada na natureza circundante de S Pedro. Quarto e Wc confortáveis, com todas as amenidades essenciais, e oferta de água e biscoitos. Tudo o resto encontra-se no Honesty Bar, sempre disponível numa sala agradável e com excelente vista. Piscina de muito bom tamanho com água aquecida num cenário natural. Áreas exteriores com plantas e flores naturais onde se pode ler, relaxar e até receber mensagens. Melhor pequeno-almoço que já tive, com produtos frescos e uma variedade incrível. Um lugar de slow living onde apetece viver 😊 Por último, mas o mais importante, o anfitrião Igor, que elaborou todo este magnífico projeto, recebe-nos sempre com imensa simpatia, disponibilidade e uma alegria que convida a regressar uma e outra vez. 🌞

Eine ganz tolle Unterkunft. Sehr sauber und toll eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und konnten auch früher einchecken. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Balkon. Es gibt auch einen Aufzug. Auch ein Pool ist vorhanden den wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Das Frühstück ist klasse und alles sehr schön angerichtet. Es gibt eine Möglichkeiten draussen zu sitzen. Man kann sich an der Honesty Bar bedienen und notiert einfach das was man verzehrt hat. Der Ort gibt nicht allzuviel her. Wer also etwas Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig. Der Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar und man kann schöne Spaziergänge machen. Die Restaurantauswahl ist etwas begrenzt. Wir waren nur in einer Art Imbiss. Parken kann man übrigens direkt vor der Tür kostenlos.

Ich weiss nicht ob es für jemanden relevant ist. Wir haben das Schwimmbad ja nicht genutzt. Lt. Beschreibung ist eine Badekappe Pflicht. Ob das tatsächlich ein Muss ist weiss ich nicht. Vor Ort wurde uns bei der Begehung nichts dazu gesagt. Sollte man dann vielleicht noch mal anfragen wenn man den Pool nutzen möchte. So eine Badekappe hat ja heute kaum noch jemand.

O pequeno almoço era muito bom e variado. Localização excelente com acesso a pé à praia de S. Pedro de Moel. A decoração é muito bonita e com muito bom gosto. Ideal para relaxar.

What a magical place to stay! The view, the sound, the feeling - we enjoyed it all. Would definitely come back! PS. You must try the massages as well; the lady is amazing.

The only downside I could think of is that the place is located next to a busier road, you might be woken up in the morning. Also, it'd be a nice amenity to have a coffee machine inside the room, as the size is almost like an apartment.

A ausência de chinelos no quarto

Das Zimmer Sand hatte genau meinen Geschmack getroffen. Das Bett himmlisch bequem. Das frühstück lecker.

Localização ótima, pequeno almoço excelente, quarto grande e confortável, tudo esteve muito bem. A simpatria e disponibilidade do staff é exemplar, uma estadia muito agradável. A decoração do alojamento é única, parabéns. A experiencia no SPA também foi excelente.

Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig mit viel portugisischem Backwerk. Netter kleiner Indoorpool und sehr freundlicher Eigentümer. Im Haus steht einem auch ein schöner Aufenthaltsraum zusammen mit den anderen wenigen Gästen und Getränke zur Verfügung.

Un petit hotel très reposant et tout comfort. Une ambiance des années 90 en Californie avec une chambre très "zen". L'hotel est tout prêt de la plage dans un quartier résidentiel et calme.

Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstück hervorragend mit frischem Saft, Obst, Pfannkuchen etc. Das Personal überaus freundlich. Da es nur 5 Zimmer gibt, besonders ruhig.

Da gibt's es nichts zu erwähnen.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gepflegt und alles in einem zueinander passenden Stil eingerichtet; das Zimmer ("Nest") war sehr geräumig und sauber inkl. Meerblick vom Bett aus; die Inhaberin war sehr lieb und aufmerksam und ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein war sie immer für einen da; das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und liebevoll (mit vielen selbstgemachten Dingen) und hat uns sehr geschmeckt; der Pool im Untergeschoss war beheizt und gepflegt; der einsame Strand Praia Velha (etwas weiter abseits, jedoch noch fußläufig) hat uns sehr gut gefallen; wir würden die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen

Entire property was a boutique spa. Interior was immaculate. My wife and I had a great massage onsite. There was a very nice indoor pool. We were a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach. There was a very nice included breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is a very small but charming seaside town, which we accessed by a direct bus from Porto, with an inexpensive Uber ride to the property. There are several good restaurants in town, but as it was October when we were in the area, opening times might not be accurate according to Google, but we always found a place for dinner. It was a very relaxing three night stop after our busy vacation time in the UK and Porto

A luxurious and peaceful place located in a picturesque village overlooking the ocean. The breakfasts were out of this world and the staff was exceptional!

L’emplacement est en dehors des circuits touristiques habituels, ce qui apporte beaucoup de calme et d’authenticité. Le lieu est particulièrement bien entretenu et nous avons bénéficié d’un service hors pair grâce à Diana, toujours attentionnée. Nous avions la chambre avec la terrasse sur le toit de laquelle nous pouvions voir l’océan.

Un peu bruyant en soirée , car situé sur un rond-point . Néanmoins, lorsque toutes les fenêtres sont fermées , c'est OK. Attention, belle plage entre des falaises , mais pendant notre court séjour de trois jours (mi-septembre) , les vagues étaient très fortes et n'ont pas permis de baignade

Very cosy and familiar hotel. It has a minimalistic vibe while also feeling comfortable and stylish. The location is very good since you can both see the sea (privileged location to watch the sunset from the rooms) and the pine forest behind. With this being said, you feel a sense of privacy at all times. Everything is very direct and simple to deal with and, the host replies fast as well. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

The property is so welcoming, so cozy, so clean, and just delightful in every way!! We’d like to return with friends and just enjoy the property, spa, pool, and amenities. Our host Igor did a fantastic job of communicating with us prior to our stay, and the ease of checking in after hours was flawless!! We had the most amazing dining experience at Sape, the onsite restaurant. The tuna and octopus dishes were divine, and the service by Tiago was 5-star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! And the freshly prepared morning breakfast has lots of options, and also was most enjoyable.

What’s not to love about this property!! 🤷‍♀️ The only recommendation that we might make is to offer a mini-refrigerator in the room.

Please come. This will surpass yours expectations. The green spots, the honest bar, the room (ours was Folk), each one is different. We were here in Valentine day. The music surrounding all the property. Don't have T.V., don't need :) The staff is great. Another thing. The restaurant.... 5*, please try anything, the octopus plate and the iron beef (500g, for 2 persons) it's amazing. Very well cooked :) Your gonna feel like you are at home.

First the property is beautifully kept, clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. The views of the ocean from the back deck on the third floor are amazing, and bring “off season” the price was exceptional. I would recommend this location to all of my friends and relatives in fact I’m planning on setting up another trip back asap

Everything, superb restaurant, staff, rooms, location, breakfast. If you’re traveling North to South or vice versa in Portugal the Joy is a must for a stopping off point. Highly recommend

This is an exceptional place. It is family run and they help to make your stay all you want it to be. Breakfasts are a mix of continental plus bacon and eggs if you wish. You will be full. The town has a laid back atmosphere with nice beaches along with some rocky rugged areas. Worth a visit!

We arrived in gloomy, rainy weather, which affected our initial impression, and figuring out the entrance and reception area was a bit confusing. The property is located near a restaurant and beauty center also run by the owners, so we weren’t immediately sure where to check in. Once we got settled, we realized the house is ideally located right by the beach, making it perfect for beach lovers and surfers alike. The room itself was very clean and cozy. We’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil and scenic retreat along Portugal’s coast.

We did have an unexpected encounter—a big spider was hiding between the curtains, which gave us a bit of a start.

OMG!!! This place is amazing: elegant, cozy and with a spectacular view. I regret leaving so soon, it is a place to be a couple of nights. Delicious breakfast and amazing staff!!!

This was one of our favorite stays. Beautiful place, lots of special touches. Every person that took care of us was very friendly and hospitable. We were so very comfortable here, we hated to leave.
