La chambre ! Très belle et agencée, même si on a pas réussi à faire fonctionner le ventilateur (la Clim marchait)

L’eau qui empêchait l’accès au logement, même les taxis refusaient d’aller jusque-là, il a fallu mettre les pieds dans l’eau et ce n’était pas prévenu à l’avance. Le bruit des quads jusque tard dans la nuit. Le fait que l’établissement refuse un remboursement partiel malgré le fait qu’on ne soit restés qu’une nuit sur 2 et qu’on ait du payer une autre nuit ailleurs, à cause du bruit empêchant de dormir.. de plus, il y avait les lumières dans le couloir qu’on a pas pu éteindre et qui filtraient la lumière dans l’appartement, toute la nuit. On an mis 4 parce que la chambre est vraiment sympa autrement, mais il n’y a pas eu de geste compréhensif de la part de l’établissement, sur le fait qu’on ait pas pu dormir. Bonne continuation néanmoins ! Si vous n’êtes pas sensibles des oreilles, et n’avez pas peur des inondations sur les routes s’il a plu, ça le fait !

La chambre était spacieuse, propre et bien aménagée. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le bel espace douche et le confort du lit. Nous avions également reçu un message à notre arrivée avec des recommandations d'endroits à tester sur l'île, ce qui nous a été bien utile pendant notre séjour !

Le bruit provenant de la rue, même si cela se calmait au moment d'aller dormir.

Scam, disappointing. We chose the most expensive room (the “Deluxe King Suite”) because of the views shown in the photos. Upon arrival, we discovered there was construction directly outside the window, leaving us with no view at all. Instead, there were workers right outside, which also meant we had no privacy, forcing us to keep the blinds down the entire time. In short, we paid for the most expensive room expecting great views, and ended up with no natural light, no views, and no privacy. I explained the situation to the owner/manager, but she refused to offer any refund, even when we asked to switch to a different (and cheaper) room without views.

I had a pleasant stay. The interior is thoughtfully designed and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The room itself was spacious and filled with natural light, which made it very comfortable to relax in. Communication was smooth and efficient throughout the stay. The location is also a great advantage — while it’s a bit further from the city center, it offers a peaceful and quiet environment.

Sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel etwas abseits vom Trubel von Holbox, was wir sehr angenehm fanden. Trotzdem ist man in wenigen Minuten am Strand und auch Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Hotel ist sauber, gepflegt und die Atmosphäre sehr entspannt. Man kann hier gut abschalten und die Insel genießen. Das Einzige, was noch perfekt wäre, sind vom Hotel gestellte Fahrräder, da diese auf Holbox sehr praktisch sind, um sich fortzubewegen. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und können das Hotel definitiv empfehlen. ⭐

Habitaciones hermosas, unicacion ideal y tranquila para descansar, muy cerca de la playa! Atencion y servicio excelente. Gracias por todo! Si volvemos a Holbox, sin duda nos volvemos a alojar aqui!

Su tamaño, el diseño y que le entraba mucha luz a la habitación

Echamos en falta una cafetera. Además teniendo cocina la habitación nos extraño que no tuviera ninguna mesa/sillas para comer/desayunar ni para poder teletrabajar. Cierto es que hay un par de mesas abajo en el patio interior pero no para ir bajando la comida.

Eher abgelegen, Restaurants und schönere Strände sind nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe, was aber machbar ist (im Zweifel mit Fahrrädern oder Taxi)

Beautifully decorated hotel with modern nice amenities. Calm area that allows a good sleep, comfortable bed. Also staff was nice and helpful. We first thought we will need a car to go to the centre, but it was not a problem to walk

Beautiful room layout and peaceful, quiet and away from all the loud places. As a female solo traveler I felt safe and comfortable. Loved cycling around and exploring.

First I thought it was a bit too far but then I walked and it was doable even at night.get yourself a bicycle though.

Helaas is het echt ver van het centrum, dikke 20 minuten lopen. En er is maar 1 restaurant in de buurt. Jammer dat ze geen fietsen beschikbaar stellen aan de gasten, dat zou echt top en een meerwaarde zijn! Ook zaten er gaten in de handdoeken en lakens, voor de prijs die wij betaald hebben vond ik dit eerlijk gezegd niet kunnen. Het dakterras hadden ze kunnen aankleden, nu is er niets en zou zeker een meerwaarde kunnen zijn voor dit hotelletje. Vandaar een wat mindere score. Ik vond prijs-kwaliteit niet correct. Je betaald meer voor het moderne interieur dan wat anders.

I booked the Deluxe King Suite with the large window overlooking the water, only to find out the view is completely obstructed by a building in construction. At night it gets very noisy from all the tours taking people to watch the bioluminescence at playa coco. The toilet is in the same room as the bed. There’s not even a paravan as a separation. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Nos gustó mucho el espacio, la habitación muy linda, aunque el área de lavabo es reducida, todo muy bien, el recepcionista, super amable, el único detalle que puedo observar y que sí no fue agradable, es que no sale mucha agua de la regadera, tienes que estar contado gotas. No sé si solo sea en esa habitación o en todas falta presión pero es algo que sí deberían revisar porque se pierde mucho tiempo en algo tan básico y que debería de ser en 5 a 7 mins.

Het was echt brandschoon en ook na de eerste nacht hadden ze alles opnieuw schoongemaakt en dus zandvrij gemaakt. Daarnaast hadden wij perongeluk de gordijn uit de rails getrokken en dit is diezelfde dag nog gemaakt zonder kosten in rekening te brengen.

Prullenbak en waterkoker zouden geen overbodige luxe zijn.

Amazing place, just a few rooms so it felt so private, the decoration was really tasteful and the place was amazingly clean. The internet was fantastic. Renting bikes is an amazing way to get around and it shortens the trip to the centre and the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tikul on Holbox! Everything was really great – from the spacious room with a sea view to the super friendly and easygoing service. We even got some great tips from the staff, and whenever we needed anything – like a taxi – help was there in no time. The hotel is not located in the center, which some might see as a downside, but for us, it was ideal. No noisy bars at night, yet still close to everything: the beach, restaurants, and little shops. We rented bikes and were in the center within 5 minutes. Riding along the beach with the bikes was an absolute dream! The room was incredibly spacious, and waking up to the ocean view from bed was amazing. A small downside is that a building is being constructed in front of the hotel, partially blocking the view. Luckily, there was no noise during our stay. One thing that was a bit uncomfortable: the toilet had no door, which could be awkward. One of us simply stepped out to the rooftop terrace and enjoyed the turquoise sea view instead! All in all, it was a truly fantastic stay. Just a few minor things that could be improved, but we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway on Holbox.

Holbox is now over development with many new projects. So it was very noisy outside with pumping machines and other machinery. Flooded and muddy streets. Then you bring all the dirt into the room. Far from the center and unlit streets. Great environmental impact for flora and fauna. Natural environmental phenomena are being affected

There was a horrible humidity smell - mold inside the room. There should definitely use a dehumidifier. If you rent the room for a group of 3 - it’s very small and not private at all since everything is one room (including the toilet). Is very noisy! And the breakfast is the same everyday - coffee, juice and scrambled eggs.

Only downside was it is a bit far away from town but definitely not an issue given the price and quality of the room

The hotel is a 20 min-walk from the city center, which is not an issue. But be aware that when it is raining the streets were flooded.

The staff went above and beyond to help us in any way. An exceptional service. The room was really nice and spacious. Only note remember to take a taxi from the pier to the hotel as it might be a bit long to walk there.

The place is okay.

The island was flooded and full of rubbish and the beach is an artificial beach and it was impossible to walk outside the building as everything was flooded.. it took 1h to get to the hotel, we had to walk into puddles till our knees with frogs jumping everywhereI called the owner for help and she didn’t care, she only suggests to get a taxi, which accepts only cash. THERE IS NO ATM that accepts visa or Mastercard so we had no chance to withdrawal . the owner doesn’t even reply to the messages once got the money. There is no facilities that helps you to get out of the place. Outside smells like rotten egg. We had to leave after 18h even though we booked for three days.. I texted the owner saying we were leaving earlier and I am still waiting her message on whatsapp( it’s been 3 days) the place is too noisy, impossible to sleep. I wish I could share the videos!!

Staff was great, room awesome, island was hit by a hurricane and power went off, owner and staff were really helpful and supportive, organized immediate Hotel exchange since power could not be restored in a timely manner! Great recommendation for a stay on Holbox!

Absolutely lovely. Would definitely book again. Very fast support and very friendly staff. Rooms are beautifully designed and it’s really nice that there are only a handful of rooms and guests.

There’s only one negative thing, if the streets are flooded it’s kind of tricky to get there… definitely not the fault of the property but to keep in mind.

The hotel is very pretty and new. The room looked exactly like the pictures. Staff are so lovely and always available. Tatiana was super responsive and made sure we’re being treated nicely.

The location was our main problem. It was far from the center, around a 23 minute walk. Unfortunately there are no restaurants or mini markets close to the hotel, so you feel isolated and far from everything. That side of the island is under a lot of construction, so that might change in the future. We were unlucky with the weather as it rained a lot and the roads turned into huge puddles so we had to order taxis every time we wanted to leave the hotel and that added unexpected expenses to our trip

Charming mini-hotel boasting only a few rooms, offering a cozy and intimate setting. Not far away from the beach. The rooms are sweet and have character, although I feel they could use a touch more warmth in decor. The communication with the host was delightful, with prompt and friendly responses via WhatsApp. The reception desk staff was exceptionally pleasant and provided helpful assistance.

Overall, the hotel exudes a pleasant atmosphere, although poorly soundproof (sounds travel easily within the premises) I found it slightly overpriced considering the overall experience.

The room was bigger and nicer than we expected! And the staff are all very lovely and helpful. Monse in particular was of great help, we had issues unrelated to Tikul and Monse gave us a hand like a friend would and made us feel very welcomed and happy straight away. Thank you Monse!

Super nice and clean rooms. Bed is really comfortable and good working AC. We liked our stay so much that we extended for one more night. Location is really quite and can easily walk to the beach and Centro.

We went during low season in September. Taxi’s may not accept your request to drive there as there are many potholes on the road and it had rained before. You couldn’t walk because the water couldn’t go away. So you are quite in the middle of nowhere and rely on taxis which can become unnecessarily expensive. Also, did not like that bathroom sink was in the toilet area, and shower was open and the open plant garden behind the bed. But thats quite minor. The bed was around 140cm, so its nice for 1 person but for 2 persons it’s too little space. Could not sleep for 2 nights properly. The front desk lady also was not very nice / could be improved. Perhaps a good hotel for couples that want to spoon the entire night and not move at all. Other then that it was clean, and modern design. But that’s about it. I recommend staying near the main city centre area during low season.

Tikul Hotel is a lovely modern hotel. We had the ocean view room with an exceptional view. The rooms are lovely and cosy, and the bed is super comfortable. The location is almost ocean front and it is super quiet. The city is around a 10min walk along the beach. Gracias Tikul Hotel

The hotel, despite small and without common spaces, is truly beautiful.

The staff, excluded the cleaning lady, has neither been helpful nor flexible.

We liked that the rooms were clean, comfy and that the hotel is close to the beach!

The room was gorgeous and very stylish with lovely big windows. The bed was super comfy and the little couch was a nice touch. It felt very spacious and airy with high ceilings too. The shower was great with good pressure and plenty of towels provided. It is a bit further out from the main square but there are always taxis passing by if you don't want to walk the 20/25 mins and there are a few places to eat within walking distance. It's close to a lovely, slightly quieter beach. I liked being slightly out of the main area as it felt peaceful. The area felt really safe too. The staff were really helpful with booking a taxi when I was leaving, and getting in touch ahead of my stay to see if I needed help getting to Holbox.

There wasn't much storage - the hanging wasn't full length and there was no drawer space or bedside tables. Also nowhere to fill up your own water bottles with drinking water, although there was a bottle in the room that was refilled daily. The stairs are a bit tricky with cases but fine otherwise. Also worth noting that the shower is open into the room which might not work for some people but was fine for me. These are just small niggles and didn't detract from the overall stay. The only thing that was a bit concerning was coming back from a morning out to find my room door wide open - it obviously hadn't been locked properly after housekeeping. It was just a mistake and everything was fine in my room but just wasn't ideal especially when travelling alone.

Great location close to the quieter stretches of beach on the island. Beautiful view from the room, the room itself was very modern with great facilities, with very nice toiletries. Paola and Tatiana were extremely kind and helpful, sharing great recommendations! The perfect end to our tour of Yucatan.

The ants from the plants that crawled into the bed. When I shared that it was a special occasion and we were there to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Usually the resort will have prepare a treat such as a complimentary bottle of champagne and desserts.
