Room cleaning was done poorly, hair was everywhere from previous people that stayed in the room. Also several people I’ve met had diarrhea from the food including our family

RIU is easily one of the best all-inclusive, adults-only resorts I have ever stayed at. The food was absolutely amazing, the pools and beach were beautiful, and I loved that the bar was open 24 hours. They also went above and beyond by decorating our room to help celebrate my husband’s birthday and our anniversary, which made our stay feel extra special.

The resort taxis charged an outrageous $70 USD for a ride that only cost $15 USD via Uber, and I felt completely taken advantage of by those transportation prices. I was also incredibly disappointed to be charged a fee after throwing up on a towel; it was an illness I had no control over, and it really should have been handled as a courtesy. Finally, because there is no room service and the specialty restaurants close early, the 24-hour snack bar needs more variety.

Everything was great! As soon as we arrived the staff jumped to help us, took us to our room and were there for us. The property itself feels new and highly maintained. The resort has an app with everything you need and the staff was super responsive and friendly. The food was delicious in all options ( buffet and restaurants) and the pools and beaches were clean and spacious. Perfect vacation!

Some nights the activities took place in the hotels which required early registration and transportation which was less convenient but not enough to destroy our fun.

Que el personal del hotel no pueda conseguirme un transporte al aeropuerto por haber tramitado la reserva del hotel por booking. Detestable

El desayuno es espectacular. Las habitaciones son muy modernas y confortables. El personal del hotel es super amable y dispuesto.

El gym debería estar mas equipado. Las cenas del buffet podrían ser mas variados, tambien los postres. También deberían rastrillar un poco mas el área de playa.

Difícil dizer do que eu não gostei. Eu tive uma estadia muito boa e tranquila. Importante ressaltar que o hotel fica em uma área mais distante da zona hoteleira ou dos portos. Em contrapartida, o mar é lindíssimo

Nada. De la propiedad estuvo todo bien Solo comentario sobre mi check in, al ser muy rápido y sin poca información, el recepcionista me cobró mal. Luego lo notaron sus compañeros y me hicieron la devolución, también había olvidado el primero de darme tarjeta de toallas.

The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. Even though we found another set of pillows, they were still very uncomfortable. Adding a dance floor for guests is nice. The entertainment ends with the show on stage and everyone just leaves.

Il buffet del ristorante principale è veramente immenso e vario, impossibile non trovare nulla che possa piacere. La spiaggia ha i lettini con l'ombrellone (per niente scontato in messico) e ogni tanto passa un cameriere con un vassoio pieno di drink, supercomodo. Si può mangiare e bere a qualsiasi ora, l'animazione in piscina è divertente e non banale.

Andrebbe specificato prima che le feste vengono fatte in altri hotel, ok che il transfer è gratuito, ma ci vuole comunque quasi un'ora per arrivare al riu caribe.

Everything was good I had to pay extra to get the room we thought we already paid for as we could barely see the water stuck in a corner wasn’t what we paid for.

Our view had to pay extra to get a better view but then couldn’t get a high floor. Wasn’t happy about it. There was one host that was at the Steakhouse and then at another restaurant that was very moody, very argumentative as he told us a 30 minute wait and a hour later when we checked in he said he told us a hour to a hour and a half wasn’t a great experience with him our waiters were okay.

Great buffet, drinks are good not too strong or weak, great service, beautiful beach and pool facilities. Not crowded or wild party atmosphere. Perfect for group getaways.

The included room credit ($900) is a scam, can't be redeemed except under very stringent conditions rendering it unusable. refilling of the in room bar is not consistent and often requires a call to the front desk. The specialty restaurants charge extra for their wine selection, food is just okay, and the music is WAY TOO LOUD, results in every table having to yell and the waitstaff unable to hear your order.

Algunos colaboradores no tenían una buena disposición a la hora de atender en el restaurante tipo buffet.

Nos encantó contar con absolutamente todo dentro del hotel, sin necesidad de salir y ocuparnos de nada. En cuanto al staff, conocimos gente muy agradable y servicial, pero no todos eran así. Y en cuanto a la comida, la calidad era muy buena, especialmente la cena de fin de año, que superó completamente nuestra expectativas!

Los drinks de los bares del sector de piscinas no eran muy buenos, pero los de los otros bares era muchísimo mejor! Algunas personas que nos atendieron no mostraron la mejor actitud (pero también hemos conocido gente muy buena y servicial)

Nos gusto todo: el sitio, las instalaciones, el servicio siempre muy atento con el cliente, la comida, la organización durante el dia como después de la cena, la atención al cliente => top Tuvimos la ocasión de pasar la noche buena y entrada del 2026 y tanto la comida como la organización del evento durante la noche espectacular.

La habitacion super comoda, la playa y las piletas excelentes, el personal amable y servicial. El hotel es nuevo y esta impecable

Excelente atención de todos los empleados, y buena disposición!! Destaco a Emi y Richier en recepción, en realidad a todos muy buenos, como también al mesero Lino en el buffet. Me gustó la variedad de comida, piscinas, en bebidas, ambiente super.

Se fue la luz en el sector y no cuentan con una plata eléctrica que suple los aires acondicionados. Dicen tener en el restaurante un código de vestuario pero hay personas que entran en chancletas y pantalonetas, ilógico! A mí no me dejaron pasar por llevar pantalon de lino, zapatos y camisilla. ( eran hallowen además ) Tocó pagar por ir a una fiesta donde todos los huéspedes pueden entrar gratis. Hay personal que necesita ser más cordiales con los huéspedes, amabilidad, cordialidad…

The staff was very friendly! Everyone spoke and seemed happy to be there! House keeping did a wonderful job in cleaning both the rooms and the common areas.

The beds felt like rocks sitting on top of bricks. Very springy. Our backs felt shattered every morning. The food was definitely subpar and lacking flavor. All of the drinks seemed to be very watered down. I’m not a heavy drinker but for me to have taken three to four shots and had about 6 mix drinks and not even touch my stopping point was a bit concerning. It’s an all inclusive so I didn’t have high expectations but however I’ve traveled to other parts of Mexico and stayed at other Riu resorts that made this stay bottom of the list for us. The excursions were some what fairly priced up front but there was always extra money that had to come out of pocket when leaving for the excursions. These were sold by the company on the property Scrubacribe. They were a bit misleading as well. Paid over $200 for an excursion where we would ride our own speed boats and see beautiful blue water on an island with so many different animals such as flamingo, gators, and other wildlife only to get there and drive a speed boat in swamp green water, arrive on a part of a beach in the middle of nowhere that was filled with the smell of poop and not one animal, bird, duck, fly, or anything insight. Only mosquitoes…which we could have to continue to enjoy for free at the resort. As for the speciality restaurants, the food was nothing to write home about. The servers would come and bring the initial drinks, come back after everyone’s glasses were empty and ask if a refill was wanted, all for you to say yes and never receive even a sip of a refill. The entertainment was so/so. The Riu parties weren’t even held at the resort but heavily advertised. They provided a bus for transport there which was over a 40 min ride and if you had no intentions on staying the entire time, well, you wouldn’t have had a choice because the workers told us they were short on transportation. Honestly the best part of this resort was the beach.

We had wonderful days! The team is excellent. At the pool bar, we really enjoyed being served by Ozuna 😅, and at the buffet, Guadalupe did an amazing job. Everyone else, from the cleaning ladies to the guy in charge of handing out towels, was very kind and friendly. It was my birthday, and they even left a special decoration in our room It’s a wonderful place to relax, have fun, and enjoy yourself. The resort itself doesn’t have parties, but they offer a free shuttle to Riu Party, so if you’re looking for more entertainment, that’s no problem at all The meals served at the buffet are excellent. We didn’t leave the resort, but there’s also the option to take city tours, you can find teams who organize them, and according to the receptionist, they’re all trustworthy The rooms are cleaned daily and everything was spotless. Thank you, Riu Latino! Highly recommended! 🌴✨

The location of the hotel is favorable for a beach without sargazos (local seaweeds). We stay there by the end of October, and we had clean waters ! ... we checked other beaches and they weren't as lucky as us.

The hotel activities during the day at the swimmingpools and the night at the terrasses (outside bars) are very very loud. It was difficult to find more quiet spots to chill in the hotel, we literally spent our whole time at the beach to scape from the noise. We felt trapped in a circus.

Perfect resort for a weekend

The property was well kept and the dining options were great. I liked the idea of the multiple swimming pools.

Great place for a nice relaxing vacation, with the opportunity to add more excitement if that's what you're looking for with free transportation to parties at a nearby Riu property as well as excursions and other paid add-ons. The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was decent at it's worst and quite good at it's best, overall I was satisfied in that department for the price paid. Drinks were quite good as well (bartenders were excellent and very engaging) and we enjoyed the convenience of having drink dispensers in the room for a nightcap for when we felt like avoiding the crowds at the bars downstairs. Beach is a bit of a walk, but it was beautiful and very peaceful. Water slides were a lot of fun as well, and a great way to break up the day of relaxing by the beach/pools. We visited during the down season, so I could see it feeling a bit claustrophobic during peak times, especially with the pool layouts, but it was perfect for what we were looking for this time. Would visit again at this time of year for sure!

Property and rooms were very clean. Air conditioning worked great! all the staff were super friendly and we loved that the restaurants were close together. Food and drinks were overall very good. The hotel also tried its best to eliminate the mosquito problem by fogging the outdoor areas. Really amazing property and we will definitely visit again!

Clear ocean view

BRING BUG SPRAY. It may be the season, but there were tons of musquitoes everywhere in the morning and at night. Not the resort's fault, but the on site "convenience"store charged $27 for a small can. The ocean was visible from the room, so there was no need to upgrade the room for ocean view. Staff was nice, curteous, very friendly... the camerista did a great job each day. Food at cafeteria and all the restaurants was great, fresh and had a great taste, and Nelly was the best server.. The animation team was engaging, regardless of age, had great activities all day (hi to Funny-funny, Dana, Lupita, Yale and Santi). Great shows each night, as well as the pre and post-shows. Bars were never crowded, they even had push-cart mini bars traveling around the pools. I really liked the separation of "drinking-pools" from the activity, the quiet and the volleyball pools. The beach was also awesome, plebty of room, chairs and service. Beach barely had any algees, and it was cleaned each day. The adult slides was a great touch and there were no lines. The Riu resort has 3 parties, at Dunbar resort, (Jungle, White and Pink) to which they provided transportation. To get to the resort from the airport wasn't too bad (aprox 45 min) but the roads are very bad especially after exiting Cancun. We also went on a jungle ATV trip and when we returned we had a hard rain while aproacing Cancun. It took almost 1hr to cross the city because all major roads were flooded (literally) with stranded cars.

Excellent experience on the last 7 days. Very good option. Great food, service, pools and beach. Clean and modern. The only problem during these days was the mosquitoes. At least they fumigate and this help.
