Beautiful hotel and room. The staff was beyond accommodating. It was on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for too. I would love to stay there again.

The room said sea view and I paid extra for that, but it was only the side view of the water. Also, no one told us there was a roof top bar!

The accommodations were notably spacious, meticulously maintained, and presented with a pleasant aroma. Each room was comprehensively equipped with all necessary amenities. The bedding, including the mattress and linens, was of high quality; however, it appears some pillows may contain feather filling. Individuals with allergies should exercise caution, and it would be beneficial for guests to be informed of this detail proactively.

The male receptionist exhibited a moderate level of cordiality. Upon our arrival, he confirmed that spa access was included but advised against its utilization. We were not offered luggage assistance or a complimentary welcome beverage. Breakfast service was unsatisfactory. We observed flies near the dessert station, and video documentation is available and will be posted on Google. We ordered an omelet, specifying ingredients according to the menu. The individual delivering the omelet was unaware of its contents. Subsequent consumption revealed that the ingredients did not match our specifications. While we consumed the meal without significant incident, it raises concerns about the establishment's capacity to manage fundamental services, particularly given the premium pricing. The vanity mirror batteries appeared to be depleted and non-functional.

La posizione è ottima. La camera era confortevole, con un letto davvero comodo, e i servizi e le dotazioni offerti erano completi e di ottimo livello.

La colazione potrebbe essere più varia e offrire una scelta più ampia. I prodotti proposti sono sicuramente di prima qualità, ma l’assortimento risulta piuttosto limitato.

Δεν γίνεται ένα τέτοιο ξενοδοχείο να έχει περιορισμένες θέσεις πάρκινγκ για όποιον προλάβει εναλλακτικά άντε βρες μέσα στο κέντρο να βάλεις το αμάξι σου….

Le petit déjeuner ouvre à 7:30, ce qui en soit est intéressant, mais à cette heure il n’est pas totalement en place. La mise en place se poursuivait quand nous avions fini. Ceci dit à 7:30 il y a déjà du choix… mais bon, pas tout le choix. L’hôtel pratique des tarifs élevés. Ce sera de loin l hôtel le plus cher de nos 2 semaines de vacances. Mais face à la mer à Kalamata nous nous sommes faits plaisir !

Πολύ όμορφο ξενοδοχείο,με ωραία διαρρύθμιση χώρων και μεγάλο άνετο κρεβάτι. Σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο,πάνω στην παραλία της Καλαμάτας. Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό και πανταχού παρών. Υπήρχε πρωινό που ήταν πολύ χορταστικό και μας κερνούσαν όλους τους καφέδες, ακόμα και μετά το πρωινό! Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

The building was nicely refurbished and stylish, rooms had enough space for 2, good breakfast, excellent restaurant and very good bar staff

Old type LG TVs in the room, only road to the hotel blocked for several hours upon arrival, absence of reception staff upon arrival, very bad shower (long waiting time (over 5 minutes) for hot water, extremely low water pressure, blocked drainage system), almost absent side sea view (no point to pay extra - you will never use the tiny balcony), very insecure parking - apart from the automatic barrier anyone can come over and scratch the car or steal from it (at least it was included in the price)

Breakfast was a great selection of delights for the buffet (fruit, pancakes, pastries, cold meats, etc.), paired with a menu for a cooked breakfast. Very impressed with the eggs and the service. Room service was efficient and well presented. The staff were just great, whether it was inside the hotel, outside on the terrace or in the restaurant across the street. Very good drinks at the bar. All in all, very good value for money too. Our biggest takeaway was how beautiful the room was with the sea view. The suite is spacious enough, the bath in the middle of the bedroom section is a very nice touch.

My only thought was about communication during a fire alarm going off in the middle of the night and check in was a little bumpy, but only due to a minor language barrier I think. The staff were very helpful and communicative generally, so still a 9/10.

La localisation en ville devant le port et la vue magnifique, le lit confortable avec des oreillers en nombre plus que suffisant, la chambre était très bien insonorisée.

Le buffet du petit déjeuner est en dessous de ce à quoi on pourrait s'attendre d’un un hôtel de ce standing.

Our room’s air conditioning was not working when we arrived. As a result, we had to spend our first night in a smaller room with two single beds, which was far from ideal. Before our stay, we had even emailed the hotel to let them know we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, making the experience even more disappointing. After several unsuccessful attempts to repair the air conditioning on the second day, we were finally moved to another room. However, this room was smaller and did not have the same view as the one we had originally booked. What was most disappointing was the lack of customer service. At no point did a manager or member of the staff offer a sincere apology for the inconvenience, nor were we offered any form of compensation or goodwill gesture despite the significant disruption to our stay. I expected a much higher level of service from a hotel of this caliber.

L’architecture globale, les chambres merveilleusement équipées , literie au top ( enfin des oreillers pour tous !) , salle de bain hollywoodienne , le balcon la vue sur le port , la gentillesse de l’équipe de ménage ET de l’accueil très pro , adorable , aux petits soins .

Le personnel du cafe :restauration nonchalant et Pas pro du tout ( voire négligé ) pas à la hauteur . Contraste total avec ceux de l’accueil et du ménage .. le petit déjeuner au moins dans sa formule buffet devrait démarrer à 7 h , dans un hôtel de cette gamme ce n’est pas possible , les gens ont des avions , des taxis à prendre… et dommage que le spa et la salle de sport n’aient pas ouvert : orage hier soir , on en aurait profité …

Très bon hôtel de séjour.

De bedden lagen heerlijk en de kamer was heel rustig met aan de voorkant een prachtig uitzicht op de haven en alle terrasjes. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het plaatsje zelf stelt niet zoveel voor en het strand is niet echt mooi te noemen. Het was een beetje groezelig. Wij verbleven hier 1 nacht om de volgende dag vanaf het vliegveld wat op 20 minuten rijden ligt terug naar Schiphol te vliegen.

Das ganze Bild hat Frühstück schlecht gemacht. Wenn man so viel für Renovierung und Ausstattung investiert, warum spart man beim Frühstück. Es war ohne Sterne, einfach ein Witz. Der Chef soll sich Gedanken machen. Für den Zimmer Preis, haben die Gäste anständiger Frühstück verdient.

Az 5 csillag a szobára érvényes, jól felszerelt, tiszta. Prémium piperetermékekkel. A szoba nagysága is jó. A személyzet kedves, segítőkész. A parkolás biztosított egy külön sorompóval ellátott a hotel által fenntartott helyen. A környéken tele étteremmel.

De a reggeli, az egy pár nègyzetméteres U alakban feltálalt, minimális választékkal. Egy kisebb panzióban nagyobb a kínálat, mint itt. Igaz lehetett rendelni különfèle tojásételeket, frissen csavart narancslevet, yoghurtot, de nagyon minimális volt a reggeli választék. Legközelebb nem kérném a reggelit, hanem valahol a szállodán kívül oldanám meg.

Εξαιρετική διαμονή! Το προσωπικό ήταν ιδιαίτερα ευγενικό και πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστήκαμε. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πεντακάθαρο, άνετο και πολύ προσεγμένο. Η τοποθεσία είναι ιδανική και το πρωινό πλούσιο με πολλές επιλογές. Σίγουρα θα το επιλέγαμε ξανά στην επόμενη επίσκεψή μας στην Καλαμάτα.

We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. It is one of the best 5* hotels in Kalamata. Very close to the harbour and the beach, and also the city center is about 30 minutes walk, thus the location is perfect. The hotel offers a very good value for money. Rooms are clean, modern, spacious and well equipped. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a la cartè, they put together whatever you wish for breakfast. Dinner was also awesome, great chef with great kitchen! We loved this hotel! Definitely go back sometime in the future!

Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful - especially the girls at Reception and in particular Maria Katsari. Exellent location. Very comfortable beds. Very good house service - the room was cleaned perfectly every day. Free parking

The Breakfast Buffet is very small for a 5star hotel. Some more fruit would be welcomed especially in the summer season when different types of fruit are ripe in Greece and easily available. The so called suite is very small. The balcony is minute and no table available. The safe in the room is far to low down - you need to get down on your knees to open/close it. The hotel is fairly wheelchair accessible with a lift, flat entrance and accessible toilet downstairs. But the ramp leading to the lift is far to steep for a wheelchair.

Reception staff on check in and check out were wonderful, really helpful and accommodating. The location is lovely, right on the old port and our room had a great balcony with beautiful views. The bed was incredibly comfortable and although there was some noise we felt for a city stay it was acceptable. The hotel itself is spacious and air conditioned with lots of seating areas, a good lift, and a carpark in sight of reception which is unusual for Kalamata. they very kindly let us leave the car there all day after we checked out and stored our luggage (although not securely), just in the reception area.

We have been staying in four and five start hotels in the Peloponnese for years (KaSeas, Kyrimai, 100 Rizes, MANNA, Limeni Resort, Ellies Kardamyli), and for over £200 a night the attention to detail was just not up to the standard we would expect. There were aspects of the room that were tired, scruffy menus and marked towels, bathrobes with misshapen linings and the embroidery 'after sex' on the back was a bit much! Charging and plugs only on one side of the bed, the room-safe was too small for a laptop, no table on the balcony so you had to have your glasses on the floor, everything in the mini bar was chargeable (including the nuts that were complimentary in the bar). The shower had a strong smell of drains and on two occasions we could not lock our door as the automatic system was glitching (housekeeping were great and helped us on those occasions). Breakfast was OK but we did not get two of the items ordered and when questioned our request was simply ignored, we were unable to charge lunch or drinks to our room which felt like an oversight. The waiting staff in the cafe were really not good.

We had dinner on the front. The location was great. Starters cheese and meat platters were very good. Unfortunately the mains disappointed. 3 shrimps in the pasta. Squid dish was overcooked and tasted of charcoal and very little of it and undercooked pasta. Didn't clear the table after the starters and we needed to ask for more cutlery. They need to up there game!

The view of the boardwalk from the room was quite nice. Enjoyed viewing the sunrise and the sunset from the balcony.

The service at breakfast was spotty. It was not clear what was included in the breakfast and what was not. The service staff was not very attentive. The room is on the smaller side for the price of the room. It was my fault that I had not looked at that information more closely.

מיקום נחמד ונוח. נאלצנו להחליף חדרים , ולקחנו 2, כי חלקם ממש לא נעימים. הובטח לחדרים שלנו נוף מסוג מסויים וכמובן שלא התקרב לכך. במעלית הבנו שאנחנו לא יחידים…. והכי זוועה היה השירות. החל מפקידת הקבלה שקיבלה אותנו, המשך בצוות המסעדה בארוחת הבוקר וכן הלאה. למעט עובד אחד שעזר בהכל, שהיה מקסים.

Mit dem Frühstück waren wir grundsätzlich ebenfalls zufrieden. Die Qualität war gut und man hat alles bekommen, was man für einen gelungenen Start in den Tag braucht. Aus unserer Sicht gibt es bei der Auswahl und Vielfalt noch etwas Verbesserungspotenzial, dennoch hat alles sehr gut gepasst. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel klar weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Grand Hotel Kalamata und waren rundum sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht erfüllt. Die Zimmer waren modern, sehr sauber und hochwertig ausgestattet. Man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die ausgezeichnete Lage direkt in Kalamata – ideal, um die Stadt, die Promenade und die vielen Restaurants bequem zu Fuß zu erkunden. Auch das gesamte Ambiente des Hotels war sehr stilvoll und angenehm. Das Personal war durchwegs freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr bemüht, wodurch der Aufenthalt zusätzlich besonders angenehm wurde. Insgesamt ein wirklich hervorragendes Hotel, das wir jederzeit wieder buchen würden. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Kalamata besuchen möchten.

We had a wonderful stay. It is located in the main strip and has convenient access to many tavernas and a walking path. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was much quieter than we expected. Exceptional breakfast and we also enjoyed their dinner outside. Parking included, which is very helpful since there isn’t much parking around town. We would definitely stay here again.

One waitress wasn’t as friendly, but all others were fantastic.

The lobby was beautiful and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and a great view of Kalamata promenade. Parking was easy and on property. Easy travel to all of the sites.

No pool but we knew that before we went. Not walking distant to old town Kalamata but lots of parking options if you drive there.

They didn’t replenish the toiletries and water, the tsipouro tasted bad.

Location was excellent. The private car parking area was great. The Bed was very comfortable. The room was delightful. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The free drink when we arrived was a very nice surprise.

Breakfast was limited with little choice. The main door was open and it was very cold in the evening and at breakfast. The stairs down to the toilets were badly lit. The light switches in the room were very hard to find and operate. There were no coffee sachets to use with the kettle. The towel hook was too small and there was only one. There was only one chair on the balcony. The wardrobe door blocked the chest of drawers and was very hard to push. There was no normal coloured mirror only a smoked coloured ones and there needs to be a mirror above the wall table.

Beautiful little gem of a hotel. Just by the sea . New , bright. Above all are the people working there. The front desk hospitality , care and service is amazing. I left my jewelry box in the safe and very quickly afterwards I got a phone from the hotel about it and later swiftly received it back . I recommend this beautiful place with beautiful people wholeheartedly!!!
