No cumplieron con la reserva qué se había hecho, cuando llegué me indicó el joven de recepción qué lo que se había reservado no estaba disponible. Resolvieron dándonos una de sus habitaciones más costosas "los colores eco parque" lo que no me dijeron cuando me informaron de ese cambio es que no tenía derecho utilizar el aire acondicionado, lo que se vuelve un problema cuando la habitación que te están dando no tiene ventanas. Creo que era más fácil contactarme antes de que llegara para indicarme que no estaba disponible mi reserva... Dio la impresión que no había interés en que llegara

Lo único malo fue mi último día cuando me iba ir baje las ventanas de mi carro estaba estacionado atrás del makenke regresé en 5 minutos y se desaparecieron unas cosas del carro y los únicos en el área eran dos muchachos q trabajaban en el rafting uno piensa q es lugar seguro porque entras por rejas de seguridad

Reviewed Nov 18, 2023The staff was very very helpful with tips in what to do and where to go. I got a free update from my shared bedroom to a single room. They also helped me to find transportation to the bus terminal late at night. The food in the restaurant was good.
The hotel is a 15/20 mins drive to Doradal, Hacienda Nápoles or Rio Claro. If you don't have a car the place can be tricky to move around especially at night.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2023Maybe the best accommodation in Rio Claro area. Great hotel and hostel, with many type of room, and options to explore the Rio Claro surrounding. Two pools, restaurants, and a beautiful lake in the middle of the accomodation. Food is great, WiFi works everywhere.
If you stay in the hostel ask for room, which doesn't look to the main road. The main road traffic is extreme loud, you won't sleep at all, even if you have an earplugs. Nobody speaks English, which is strange in a hotel like this.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2022Los Colores is a huge complex full of local nature, rivers, lakes and eco-friendly hospitality facilities. There's free coffee all the time, as well as hot and cool water. I was afraid of taking my family over there because hostels aren't usually family friendly, but this hostel is, there were only families staying there, and it was really quiet at night, comfortable and clean. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and kind, and breakfast is way better than in other hostels. The place offers plenty of activities which make your stay more interesting. We went rafting, it was a really good experience, and the scenery breathtaking. I highly recommend it.
The food at the restaurant was good, but in my opinion, you could add more local ingredients, and more local dishes.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2022A gorgeous campus. There is a hotel and a hostel. We stayed at the hostel. Each area has their own swimming pool. The common area grounds are fantastic, beautiful. We also organized a rafting flow down the local river. A wonderful experience.
Ventilation in the hostel rooms was meagre.
