Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Beautiful Hotel Decor. Nice clean areas and spacious elegant rooms and corridors. Staff were english speaking. Quiet and effective Air-conditioning. Easy to access complimentary car parking and nice Sauna/Swim facilities. Easy access to motorway on a quiet industrial /retail estate.
Badly designed Bathroom/toilet facilities. Premium charges for early check-in. Cleaner refused a second (Plastic) laundry bag for our wet swim suits and finally getting via reception one took some effort. Lifts were particularly busy in the morning and our sleep was disturbed by drain-water noise from occupants showering in the room above.

The staff is very professional and helpful, breakfast is amazing. The restaurants provide good quality meals at a reasonable price. The waiters and waitresses are top notch.

Dat vd Valk (in het algemeen) steeds meer als "afwerk-hotel" wordt gebruikt. Kwamen uit meerdere kamers geluiden die ik niet zo nodig hoef te horen! Jammer van het imago van de keten.

Roomservice 65 euro verwacht je wel een bord patat of iets, kreeg eerst alleen tournedos en kipsate zonder iets erbij, na bellen van de receptie een heel schamelijk bakje met een aantal patatjes, dat had wel iets beter gemogen.

I arrived 50 minutes before the official check-in time and was told the room was ready but if I wanted to have the key I had to pay an additional fee …I‘m familiar with a fee for late check out, however rarely if it is just 1-2 hours, but a fee for a 50 minutes earlier check in, I never experienced this…van der valk is pushing it a bit too much

Hoeven we niet over na te denken, gewoon niets viel tegen...........ok heel klein ieniminie dingetje, de regen die op de vensterbank buiten drupte, wakker dus, zelf opgelost en heerlijk geslapen............

Das Frühstück an Ostersonntag und Ostermontag war für die Hotelgäste in einem Saal in 1.Stock, der deutlich kleiner, damit viel enger und lange nicht so schön war. In den üblichen Räumen fand ein Osterbrunch für Externe und extra zahlende Gäste stattfand.

Unfortunately, our meetings ran longer than expected, so we arrived at the hotel with very little time left to fully experience and enjoy everything the property has to offer. That was genuinely disappointing, as the place has a unique atmosphere and so much character. However, we will definitely be back — this time for a longer stay to fully appreciate and enjoy it. 100% sure. 😊

Reviewed May 18, 2026Ontbijt hebben we niet genomen. Daar ik een maagverkleining heb gehad. En hierdoor weinig kan eten. Dus het is voor mij dan niet in verhouding om ontbijt erbij te nemen . Wellicht een optie om dan een kinderontbijt aan te bieden. Want ontbijten is natuurlijk altijd gezellig, ook al eet je weinig. Je verlengt dan wel het gevoel van gezelligheid en ontspanning.
Er zat een gat in de bank, precies op het naadje ( kamer 1402) dat was wat jammer

En onze kamer was ook mooi, super ruim en luxe interrieur. Zeer goed bed en met goede kussen, dus we hebben echt allebei heerlijk geslapen Ontbijt was zeer ruim opgezet en er was ontzettend veel keuze. Was echt een heerlijke overnachting
Met mooi weer is het terras erg fijn maar je zit direct aan het parkeerterrein. Daar zou iets meer groene afscheiding tussen mogen

There was a loose tile at the front when walking up which was unsafe and at peak times the 2 elevator could not really cope.
