Only problem was the main bathroom shower leaked at the bottom of the door causing a huge puddle when you got out

Kids were much happier when we walked inside and saw the space they had for the whole family. Wish we'd booked two nights at this place.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Fantastic apartment, spacious, modern, clean and with a great outlook over the canals. 3 decent sized bedrooms, very comfortable beds. Huge kitchen. Easy entry and parking, entry up a flight of stairs. It was very cold when we stayed about 1 degree C, but it was warm and cosy inside. The photos don't do it justice. We will come back and stay for sure!
A minor point, for what was an excellent stay. TV is an older, smaller (non smart) version so we couldn't cast to the TV for a big sports game.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026It was a quiet, clean, and spacious place with a stunning view. The host's attention to detail really stood out—there was even a salad spinner in the kitchen. The water pressure was excellent, and simply looking out at the beautiful scenery made me feel peaceful and relaxed. I would happily stay here again.
We thought the large pool was heated, but it was actually too cold to swim in. That was the only disappointing part of our stay, especially for the kids. They could only enjoy the small warm spa pool next to it instead of the main pool. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026We really loved our stay here over Matariki weekend! The view from the deck is very peaceful and soaks up the sun. The living area is very spacious, as are the rooms. The place comes with a garage and two parking spaces, making it ideal for 4-6 guests. We made good use of the tennis court and spa pool out the front. Its just beyond walking distance to town, but we never found it inconvenient.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026This property is part of a gated community overlooking the waterways. Splendid views and facilities. Plenty of parking space as well as a garage for our motorcycles. The apartment is very modern and comfortable with plenty of space, it is a shame we were only there for 1 night.
There was nothing that we didn’t like with the property.

It would have been nice if kayaks were provided, but we were able to hire some.

there were no curtains in the lounge and one heat pump. It was cold. The heat pump did not heat the lounge area with no curtains. Only one TV. With teens and a hubby who loves his sport it would have been good to have another TV

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026My family and I loved this property. We had driven down from the Bay of Islands so were in need of a comfortable resting place. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s so much bigger than I thought it would be. The beds are huge and plenty of space for suitcases. The apartment is modern and clean. The washing machine and dryer were appreciated after not being able to wash clothes for a few days! No traffic noise. A perfect place to recharge the batteries and explore the Coramandel.
