Albarrada Hotel Boutique

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It has a small courtyard that is an oasis from the stifling heat of the town. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and the dining room was really lovely. Complimentary hot drinks are available in reception. The breakfast was beautiful and the only thing we wished was that we had more time to soak it all in. We had an issue with the positioning of our room due to the Jazz festival and the hosts were amazing in trying to accommodate our needs. They went above and beyond in trying to make us feel comfortable.

The only think that we didn't like was the fact that the early morning staff sat in reception flicking through her instagram videos at a volume level that could clearly be heard in our room. Given that we had barely slept due to the Jazz Festival that was taking place in town, we did not appreciate being woken up very early the next morning - about 6.00am. I'm mentioning this here so that the owners are made aware as we left before seeing them in person. After their kindness, their staff really let them down and our lasting impression was tainted.

Rooms were nice and clean - including bathroom. Airconditioning worked well, and breakfast was nice. Lovely jugo natural!

We had our laundry done, but we forgot to ask for the price beforehand, and the price was just outrageous - aprox 190000 colombian pesos. It took away something from an otherwise good experience.

We stayed three nights at Albarrada Hotel Boutique in Mompox and had a very pleasant experience overall. The air conditioning was a real lifesaver, as the temperatures were extremely high. We also greatly appreciated being allowed to check in early. Breakfast was good, and all the staff were very kind and welcoming. A special thank you to the young gentleman working the night shift, who was especially helpful. We also appreciated the practical information provided at check-in about protecting ourselves from sunstroke and mosquitoes—it was thoughtful and useful. There are a couple of suggestions for future guests and for the hotel. We asked to have a few clothing items washed, since in Mompox you quickly end up with sweat-soaked clothes. Although we asked several times about the price, we were only presented with the bill on the evening before our departure: over COP 192,000 (more than €60). We found this to be excessively expensive for a small amount of laundry. More importantly, we recommend that the hotel provide a clear price list in advance so guests can make an informed decision. Transparency is more important than the amount itself. Another small suggestion would be to provide a waste basket in the room, as this would make the stay more convenient. Overall, this is a charming small hotel in an excellent location. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff are what make it stand out, and we enjoyed our stay.

La atención de la administradora y el personal sensacional, las instalaciones son excelentes. ESPECTACULAR

Desayuno aceptable. Ubicación buena

The location is great, and the staff has the best attitude for service. The environment is so good and the best is that this hotel is sustainable .

The parking is in the street, some things don’t work well as air conditioning and the bathroom. The balance price vs benefit is high.

The location is the best. The staff is so people person. A great thing of this hotel is sustainable philosophy.

The parking is in the street and some things don’t work well as air conditioning or into the bathroom

The property is very well located. Close to the Malecón, which is full of restaurants and to the pier. Very beautiful inside, with comfortable rooms and big bathrooms. The staff was extremely kind and attentive.

The air conditioning was not very powerful, so it took a while to properly cool the room.

Nice small garden. Early breakfast at 6 AM with eggs, juice, cacao, fruits and coffee. Parking in front of the hotel.
