Magnifique hôtel, en plein coeur des rizières dans le calme. Hôtel magnifique, et je n'ai jamais vu un personnel aussi gentil et attentionné. Surtout faites des massages le spa est exceptionnel, massage dans un petit temple dans la nature en plein coeur des rizières par des masseuses hors pairs

Pogoda w tej części wyspy bywa kapryśna. Basen od strony zacienionej więc pomimo pobytu w sierpniu nie skorzystaliśmy.

The villa is so beautiful, it’s right next to some rice fields. It’s quiet, peaceful and surrounded by nature. I saw so many beautiful butterflies in the garden. The food was delicious, I loved the breakfast dragonfruit smoothie bowl. I travelled solo and the staff were so accommodating, attentive and made sure I had a comfortable stay.

- absurdalnie zimna woda w basenie - niestety z widoku na pola ryżowe z basenu i pokoi już nic nie zostało. Zdjęcia są więc nieaktualne - jeśli ktoś szuka atrakcji czy wielu rozrywek to miejsce nie dla niego.

Perfect location overlooking greenery all around with sound of nocturnal animals at all times. All the staff were polite, approachable and provided a genuine hospitality. The restaurant staff delivered a 5 star service. The breakfast buffet was both sumptuous and delicious. You can choose from a set menu of Healthy muesli bowl, American or Indonesian breakfast. The house keeping staff cleaned the room immaculately daily and provided complimentary water bottles daily. A beautiful infinity pool was clean and instagrammable. The room had a comfortable work space and a separate dressing table with chair and mirror as well. I shall be sharing some real time pics and videos of the property as well on google review and their insta page.

The food options for Indians and veg option are poor

The rooms and showers were big enough for the family. The breakfast was really good, especially the pancakes. The kids loved it.

The level of cleanliness of the bathrooms was extremely poor. As soon as we got to the bathrooms, a strong urine and dirt smell filled the bathroom. We had to ask staff to clean it to manage using it the first day. Couldn’t use the shower as it was filthy and very smelly. Managed to get it cleaned on the second day.

Nous avions réservé cet hôtel pour sa magnifique vue sur les rizières. Nous avons eu la surprise de découvrir qu’il n’y avait malheureusement plus la vue attendu mais des construction de maison. Pourtant, le site indique toujours l’ancienne vue. En bonus, les bruits de chantiers (tronçonneuse) n’étaient pas agréable lors des baignades. Attention également, l’hotel est situé à 35min de Ubud

Ontzettend aardig personeel, fijn zwembad en de kamers waren ook echt heel goed in orde!

Helaas is er momenteel (juli 2025) constructie gaande op de plek waar de rijstvelden eerst waren. Ik had veel geluidsoverlast, ook op de kamer zelf. Dus jammer dat het uitzicht weg was en van het geluid. Maar daar kunnen ze zelf waarschijnlijk ook niks aan doen. Misschien kunnen ze het bij volgende boekingen benoemen zodat mensen weten waar ze aan toe zijn :)

I had a wonderful time in Ubud Bali. I was there for 7 days. They do feed you the same breakfast every single morning but overall I really enjoyed myself. The massages were great! My room could have been fresher. At times I smelled a pee odor coming from the bathroom. One day when they change my towels, 1 of them smell just like pee I was so upset bc I smelled it as I was drying off. I informed them about it and told him to come and smell it. He did and changed my towels. Other than that I had a wonderful time.

It is located in a lush, quiet area among rice fields, yet it is a short drive to many attractions in the area. It is very reasonably priced with all of the amenities that the expensive properties provide. The villa is spacious and well maintained, with a relaxing pool and an on site restaurant serving delicious food. The staff are friendly and very accommodating, dedicated to ensuring your stay is comfortable and all of your needs are met. They can also assist you in booking activities and local drivers to explore the many experiences Bali offers.

Great accomodation! We really enjoyed our stay… a comfortable room, great infinity pool, the nature and rice fields around, breakfast and restaurant… Most of all we really felt warmly welcomed by the friendly people at this place, thanks a lot for everything!

Excellent as last time. This time I went with a private villa. The villa is spacious, bathtub overlooked the pool and rice fields and a statue was filling the bathtub. Staff is really smiley and attentive and the cooks in the kitchen absolutely know their deal. High quality and tasty food. Location is a bit out of town, but I was with a scooter and really enjoyed riding around the rice fields so I consider that a plus. They also have a small area in the back of the lot with mattresses where you can meditate or do yoga.

The private pool was too cold for me haha

Location, plenty of rice terraces nearby and walking distance to Ulu Petanu Waterfall (20 min) and Pera Gunung Temple (15 minutes). Very quiet area, nice pool. 4 options for the breakfast. The food at the restaurant is tasty and have good prices. If searching for other restaurants nearby, there are few with good pricess. Recommend Cafe Loka nearby for very good coffee and deserts.

The room smelled of mold. An unpleasant smell came from the bathroom drain. The shower head was broken.

Peaceful and tranquil haven away from the busy crowded areas . Enjoyed good meals in the peaceful on- site restaurant. Relaxed next to the pool and went for scenic walks along the local rice field area. Appreciated the friendly helpful staff.

The villa is located away from the crowds of Ubud, cute little place with the loveliest staff who arranged for a room change as well as per our request. They were accommodative of our dietary asks too (we are vegetarian). Stayed here for 3 nights and loved the property :)

The location, while a huge plus, can also be a bit difficult in case you plan to travel around Ubud so plan accordingly. We didn't mind it too much, of course!

Location is wonderful, loved the sound of frogs and geckos at night as well as spotting fireflies in the rice fields across. Despite the many living creatures around we never had any issues with these coming inside our room. Staff is wonderful, so kind and welcoming, thank you for your hospitality! The quality of the food in the restaurant was excellent with reasonable prices. Some nice attractions can be found in 10-20 min by scooters and Ubud is about 40 min away by car.

Pool temperature but seems like this is a common occurrence in Bali. We still managed to swim a few times so not a massive issue.

Amazing staff and facilities. Staff were very helpful and always smiling. We had a luxury villa that was well worth the price. The facilities were clean and well looked after. The views of the rice fields were great. Very quiet and relaxed.

An Amazing staff who care so much about customers

The staff is amazingly nice and warm, the food is excellent, the location is ideal for resting, practicing yoga, going to the waterfalls or the mother temple.

If there is one thing, the balinese massage was not the best, but the therapists were tired first of all and I was not expecting this much strength and/or pressure.

The room cleaning could had been a little bit better, but more specifically the bed towels and cushion, they were a little bit smelly. But otherwise, it was a perfect stay!!

This villa was my favourite because of people!! The staff is absolutely amazing: as a guest I felt welcoming from the first minute. We arrived really late around 10pm but still we were treated really well with a glass of juice, a sweet smile and a proper round and explanation about the resort. Other than the staff is the location which is not exactly in Ubud is kind of near Ubud like country side. In this location is impossible not to recharge your batteries 100%. Also the food is great!! I recommend to book with breakfast cause it’s delicious. The place is proper clean so don’t be afraid of any bacteria.

We spent 3 nights there and it was amazing. All the staff were soo friendly… Room was very clean and seemed newly built…very modern and well maintained. Limited dinner options but hats off to the chef for the quality food. Also has very quiet environment to relax.

It was difficult (so much time) to go anywhere because of the location that is not in Ubud.

Hands down my favourite stay in our 16 days in Bali! The staff were fantastic, always going the extra mile remembering your name and little details really making you feel valued. The room was very generous and comfortable, we loved the bathtub as the pool can be a little cold at night. Breakfast was great with a la carte choices. Pool and garden view was just gorgeous! Location is not central ubud but we liked this as it felt like a little oasis, still able to access all activities and sights in the ubud area.

There weren’t any outdoor drying racks for sarongs and swimwear but this is nitpicking as I understand they must maintain a certain standard for other guests walking past our patio.

Great location, however if you plan to actively explore the city, it’s way too far away. Nice view, very friendly staff, great breakfast.

The smell of towels and the sheets were awful, towels looked like they’re used for 10 years greyish yellow color. The sheets weren’t properly dried and the respective smell. The pool is cloudy and cold. I wanted to live asap, good thing I booked the place only for 2 days.

Everything. The Villa is basically brand new and spotless. The guys in the kitchen really know their deal, I ate there every night and it was incredible. They have a high quality menu, which is hard to come by in the area. The place itself looks as good in real life as it does in the photos. I sent my own photos of this place to some friends and they were accusing me of using stock photos haha. The staff is really helpful, and always smiling ❤️ If you are here with a motorbike or a car, this place has an amazing location, perfect for a trip to Mount Batur or a day trip to Ubud. I have extended my stay after 10 minutes of looking around in this place. Room is large and spacious, clean shelves, bathtub + shower.

Staff were friendly and accommodating for any requests. The luxury villa was FAB! It exceeded all expectations. It was well-maintained and spacious. Breakfast was in good quantity and was tasty.

It is a small pool for a luxury villa. Bathtub was not cleaned properly.

The Villa we stayed in was gorgeous and the property as a whole is both picturesque while also practical. Room service was good and breakfast in the restaurant was amazing.

The room was clean enough, but could have been cleaned better. Also having pool towels only replaced every three days we found was insufficient in such a humid climate - our towels smelled very bad by the third day

Everything. This was by far the most special and most comfortable place i have stayed at in my entire life. The staff were great, the rooms are extremely spacious, the view is fantastic, beds are comfortable, shower is great and everything is kept in perfect condition. Thirty minutes north of Ubud, but in my opinion this is the place to seek out.

No breakfast buffet

The villa is truly amazing. The staff is the most welcoming and helpful, answering to any of our needs. Food is also delicious and the breakfast is awesome!

The location is a pro and con aspect. Being in the middle of the rice fields means also mice fields.

Great staff and confortable bed. The private villa we stayed had a great view on the rice terraces. Bed, spa, staff, restaurant were just super. A special mention goes to Kadek, ask for his services if you stay in Bali! He speaks English and is such a good and amicable driver.

It is not a negative point, necessarily, but there is not much sun given the position of the villa and the variable weather, therefore if you plan on using the private pool consider cool water temperature. Also, you'll need a driver to cruise around and face traffic, shortcuts, early dark (6 pm), and somehow crazy pace of scooters around you. I do not suggest renting a scooter, if you stay at Pinggala.

Surrounded by the ricefields, out of the hustle and bustle of central Ubud, we had a peaceful stay in the villa. Very relaxing and beautiful scenario, we had walks to the surrounding villages, rice fields, temples and waterfalls, very beautiful. The villa was overlooking at the ricefields, had outdoor swimming pool and bathtub next to a floor to ceiling window. The grounds of the hotel is lush and beautiful. Food was delicious and well priced! Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Due to the hotel been next to the mountains and orientation of both the villa swimming pool and general swimming pool, it doesn’t get much sun to heat up, so we couldn’t enjoy the pool as much.

The wifi has some issues one day when I needed to work from my villa and could not. Seemed better the following day but more of a place to relax than to work! Wish there were healthier / gluten free / vegan options on the menu. It was a bit limited. Lovely staff. Lovely villa. I wish closer to Ubud center but their location is what makes is so special.

The staff was too humble and aari was best. The lady took care of us very well.. worth every penny u spend here .. will come with family soon here.. They take care of u lik family member .. we stayed in bali for 20 days. Among which it was one of best stay for us

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice (taste and quantity) The location is great (waterfalls, rice terrasse, temples) Villa 1 is nice and has some sun which was enjoyable.

Villa 1 is very close to the edge of a construction so we coule be seen from our villa by the workers and they did some fires right next to us and that smelled really bad. But we complained about the fires to the staff and the fires stopped not long after.

Pingala was away from all the hustle and bustle of Bali, perfect for relaxation. The ambiance,room, food and the pool, everything was wonderful and comfortable! But it was mainly the friendly and helpful nature of the staff that was the highlight!

The food in the restaurant is okay, but nothing "special" or outstanding as can be found in many balinesian restaurants. The location is very quiet. With a scooter, this is no problem The pool faces towards the south, where no sun s hines at all. So the water is quiet cold.
