PALAZZO FRANGIPANE

Wir durften zwei Nächte bei Manuela und Salvatore verbringen und eigentlich fehlen uns die Worte, um zu beschreiben, wie schön unser Aufenthalt war. Vom ersten Moment an wird man so herzlich und offen empfangen, dass man sich nicht wie ein Gast, sondern fast wie ein Teil der Familie fühlt. Der Palazzo ist ein wunderschönes kleines Refugium, in dem wirklich jede Ecke mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet ist. Alles ist unglaublich sauber, stilvoll und gleichzeitig so persönlich und gemütlich eingerichtet. Auch unser Zimmer war wunderschön und hat sofort zum Wohlfühlen eingeladen. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight ist das Frühstück: phantastisch! Vor allem der frisch zubereitete „Flat white“ und die Omelettes mit Spezial Crunch waren für uns etwas ganz Besonderes – man merkt einfach, wie viel Herz und Sorgfalt hier in allem steckt. Auch wer mit dem Auto anreist, muss sich überhaupt keine Gedanken machen: In unmittelbarer Nähe des Palazzo kann man ganz unkompliziert und kostenlos parken. Man bekommt hierzu bereits vorab sehr hilfreiche Informationen, sodass die Anreise völlig entspannt ist. Manuela und Salvatore haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem absoluten Highlight unserer Apulien-Reise gemacht. Wir haben uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment unglaublich wohlgefühlt und kommen ganz sicher wieder. Grazie di cuore, Manuela & Salvatore – bis ganz bald! ❤️

Lokatie is 100% geschikt om uitgebreide rapportage in stijlvol woonmagazine te krijgen!

Helaas waren we er maar 1 dag. Deze plek is perfect om de regio te verkennen en langer te verblijven!

Un sentito ringraziamento a Manuela e Salvatore per la loro disponibilità, professionalità e attenzione verso gli ospiti, qualità che hanno contribuito a rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Zunächst ist die Unterkunft eine Oase in Mitten der Region. Sobald sich die Tür zum Innenhof öffnet begrüßen einen die beiden Gastgeber mit ihrer warmherzigen Art. Die Ausstattung ist einzigartig und zeitgleich modern. Die bereitgestellten Seifen von Dr Josef hervorragend. Ganz klar hervorzuheben ist das fantastische Frühstück. Hier werden täglich Zutaten mit Liebe bereitgestellt und verarbeitet. Salvatore und Manuela haben uns zusätzlich tolle Tipps für Strände und Restaurants gegeben. Es war immer ein Parkplatz in der Nähe zu finden. Traumhafte Strände, sowie einige Städte in der Umgebung waren mit kurzen Fahrzeiten zu erreichen. Jeder der in die Region kommt, sollte hier einige Nächte verbringen. Klare Empfehlung!

Look no further- this is definitely the place to stay. Hosts are amazing, kind and nice people. Breakfast is delicious with great options. Rooms and the property itself are very comfortable and very well decorated with lots of small details which shows that it was done with lots of care and love!

First of all, the owners, Salva and Manu and some lovely and welcoming. They were there to greet us when we arrived, helped with our luggage and recommended some places to eat nearby. They are extremely personable seemed so happy for us to be there - nothing was too much trouble. The whole space has been sympathetically renovated into an elegant and stylish b&b. The materials and furniture used in the common spaces and rooms are just perfect. We had a room with a terrance and it was exactly what we needed. The pool space is quiet and relaxing and we had it all by ourselves most of the time (there are only 6 rooms in total). The beach is a 10 minute drive away. Breakfast is a delight. All the ingredients are fresh and everything is sooo tasty. You won’t go hungry! Overall, it exceeded our expectations.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Salvatore est exceptionnel dans la préparation des petits déjeuners, offrant une variété de plats savoureux qui ont ravi nos papilles. Manuela, quant à elle, est toujours disponible et attentive, s'assurant que tous nos besoins soient satisfaits. Leur écoute et leur accueil chaleureux ont grandement contribué à rendre notre expérience agréable. Nous recommandons cet établissement sans hésitation !

Salvatore and Manuela were excellent hosts. The breakfast offered was varied to suit every palate. Palazzo Frangipane has been beautifully restored and was kept impeccably clean and tidy.

If you are looking for accomodation around Salve and appreciate style, comfort and fabulous food then you really must stay here! You won’t be disappointed. It’s absolutely beautiful, the owners Salvatore and Manuela are the perfect hosts, helpful, informative and entertaining! They are clearly very passionate about their business. The breakfast here has to be the best we’ve had anywhere, beautiful fresh ingredients, lots of variety and Salvatore keen to cook any type of eggs you want. His omelettes were amazing, perfectly cooked and interesting fillings. Palazzo Frangipane really is a hidden gem, from the street you’d have no idea what lays behind the wooden door. It opens to reveal a perfect oasis of calm and style. So many tiny details cleverly put together, from the dining furniture, tastefully decorated bedrooms, to the pretty gardens and pool area. We were staying in the upstairs terrace room which has a wonderful view over neighbouring rooftops and to the sea. The sun is on the terrace all afternoon and has comfortable seating allowing peaceful privacy, and a spectacular sunset. In summary, you must stay here! We will definitely be coming back and will arrange our next Puglia visit to include Salve again. Thank you both so much, we had a fabulous time!

Wonderful stay! The hosts are so welcoming they really make you feel part of their home. The grounds have been beautifully landscaped and there is a lot of attention to detail. Breakfast was the best of our stay so much choice including fresh scrambled eggs and all laid out so nicely with inside and outside seating options. The pool is a treat after a long hot day, would love to come back!

A little heaven on earth. The tenants are just amazing people. They provided us with lots of sightseeing and food places tips and information : away from the crowds. They shared with us their love for their culture through their food and their palazzo. The breakfast was the best I ever had. (And I have had many in my career travelling globally). Only local products and all hand made by a great chef in his beautiful kitchen. The whole palazzo is a peaceful retreat nested in a perfectly renovated palazzo with great taste in design and decoration. It smells great everywhere. Whether it is in the tropical garden or in the rooms, the tenants will go beyond every little details to make this place "stupenda". The surrounding beaches are bathed by crystal clear and soft water. You won't find anything better in Puglia.

Both Manu and Salva made us feel home away from home. The palazzo is an oasis in the middle of a small village. The owners took care of every detail (from organic amenities in-room, glassware and chinaware, ceramics, lighting, unforgettable breakfasts by Salva behind the ovens, seamless service by Manuela caring about you at all times... ) Don’t miss a relaxing time in the pool while enjoying the sunset. We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Frangipane. Manuela and Salvatore were so welcoming and friendly. Every morning we were served an amazing breakfast. Chef Salvatore prepares the best omelette 😊 everything in the palazzo is beautifully arranged and makes you feel at home.

I have rarely visited a place so meticulously maintained and beautifully designed with such attention to detail. Our bathroom was spacious, the room even larger, with a stunning dome ceiling over five meters high. We enjoyed our own little terrace where my wife practiced her morning yoga. The breakfast was abundant, with everything of the finest quality. Being half Italian and having traveled to Italy since childhood, I found everything I cherish here: Italian hospitality, style, class, delicious food, a good selection of drinks, a property that stands out, and an owner couple who fulfill every wish. The pool, surrounded by lemon, pomegranate, and mandarin trees, was a delight. The most beautiful beaches of Salento are just a 10-minute drive away, and a great restaurant is only a two-minute walk from the Palazzo. Parking is conveniently free in the nearby side streets. Thank you for the wonderful time; we hope to return soon.

We had the most perfect stay at …. Manuela and Salvador are such wonderful hosts. They were so welcoming and always provided us with everything we needed and gave us some great recommendations on things to do in the area and places to eat for lunch and dinner. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, it had everything we required! The room felt very spacious and was extremely clean and comfortable. The outdoor space is equally as lovely as inside the property, the pool area is the perfect space to relax. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the outstanding reviews on the breakfast, and it really lived up to the expectations! The food was so fresh and delicious, we wish we could have Manuela and Salvador cook for us everyday haha. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the town where the hotel is located in Salve, and then the other surrounding areas were a little more lively so we had the best of both worlds. There are a few beautiful sandy and rocky beaches nearby which we really enjoyed too. Thank you again, we will be back!

We spent some wonderful days at Palazzo Frangipane in September. I cannot recommend the place enough. The historical structure is tastefully renovated and immaculately kept in place by the most charming owner couple Manuela and Salvatore. They are the true heart and soul of this magic place in deep Salento and will do everything to make your stay a memorable one. We felt the special flair of the place from the very moment we entered and were welcomed by Manuela with a warm smile. She had that talent for people you cannot learn, either you have it or not, and knows how to be always there when you need her and at the time leaving the guests all the freedom and liberty they need to unwind. She also has a superbe taste and has managed to integrate modern touches in that old palazzo structure that make the entire property worth being featured in Architectural Digest. Salvatore will prepare the BEST breakfast you can possibly imagine - he used to be a professional cook and top gastronomer - mixing authentic Italian flavors with some Asian touches. We loved every second of our stay and cannot recommend the place enough. The pool area is serene with wonderful views to the sea and some beautiful frangipani trees that are so much reminiscent of Bali or Thailand. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and everything smells incredible. Manuela was so kind and made us feel understood and welcome when we had to change rooms on our first night. This is what I call true guest service. The little town Salve is simply amazing if you want to get away from it all. It displays a central square with a wonderful church, has some restaurants and is really close to the wonderful coastline with white sand beaches and some nice beach clubs. The entire area is really affordable and very laid back, whilst at the time, catering very well to all kinds of „touristy“ needs. Please go there and do not hesitate to book Palazzo Frangipani. You will not regret it if you want a luxurious, highly individual Salento experience in a historical Palazzo with great hosts.

Our stay at Palazzo Frangipane was one of the highlights of our short trip to Puglia. Manuela and Salvatore are wonderful hosts. The breakfast was the best we have ever enjoyed in a B&B, lots of choice including delicious smoothies, fresh fruit and organic yoghurt enjoyed in stylish and relaxing surroundings. Our room was beautifully appointed as with the rest of the property, the perfect mix of old and new. We will definitely be back to visit Salve, even if just to stay at Palazzo Frangipane. It was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality by the incredible hosts Manu & Salva. The pool are and the room were super nice, we enjoyed every minute of it. The breakfast served at the hotel was a gastronomic delight! A scrumptious array of dishes, freshly prepared with local ingredients. If you want to have an unforgettable time in Puglia, Palazzo Francipane is the place to stay!

You will not find anything

Palazzo Frangipane may have been the greates bookink during a 12 day vacation in the south of Italy. Located in the small city of Salve, it is a small Palazzo with, in our case, a very large room, confortable bed, spacious wc, lovely view to next house and very quiet. Also an excelent homemade breakfast with the help of Salvatore. Outside there is a small garde and swiming pool but never used it, very much preferred to go walking Salve streets or go to nearby beaches. But also very important, I believe the owners, Manuela and Salvatore, may be the perfect hosts: making you feel welcome, attentive without being intrusive, and always with excellent suggestions if we had any queries. No need to google, if in search of a certain type of restaurant or beach or whatver, just ask them !

Everuthing was excellent. The only suggestions would be, if possible, to have some kind of curtain in the window when leaving the bath room, and to have a reading light by the bed (the existing light is a little too much bright). But these are really just personal suggestions.

The breakfast was exceptional. A lot of trouble was taken over everything they provided both savoury and sweet. Much was homemade and it was easy to make delicious and healthy choices. The hosts were both delightful and helpful.

We spent in Palazzo Frangipane only two days, but these days were like in Paradise. When you come to any accommodation you compare reality with pictures, based on which you select such property. Photos from Palazzo Frangipane are excellent, but the reality is even better. This property is a combination of history (carefully renovated) and new Italian design. If you want to stay in an exceptional place, let's go there. Breakfast was like in 6 stars hotel in terms of quality of ingredients and way of serving. Thank you very much, Manuela and Salvatore!!
