Not a large hotel but very good. We got really spacious rooms on the 6th floor. The rooms are super comfortable, clean, modern, with all the latest amenities. Location was good, in close didi rides to all the main attractions. Very nice staff, even though they do not speak almost any English. Good breakfast for westerners. Overall we liked our stay at the hotel.

Nothing really - no English speaking staff, but we managed with Google translate and the staff was really nice, so this was not an issue.

Clean modern hotel with a semi open bathroom which i really like (it makes the room larger) you can close the bathroom with sliding doors eventually. Rooms are spacious enough for 2 large suit cases also there is a sofa and free mini bar / tea / coffee available The hotel is around 10 min walk from a subway station and only 2 stops to Suzhou Railway Station. so perfect if you are catching your next train to Shanghai or Hangzhou, Wuxi. Personally i did not bother going by Metro with 2 big suitcases as Didi is not expensive. by car it's around 15 min with a didi. Another metro tip: when it's around 17:00-20:00 it's sometimes impossible to get a didi (rush hour)...taking the Metro is super convenient with Alipay metro card Highly Recommended 15-20 min walk to Guan Qian Street (food) Gym looks really nice! with loads of weights and proper equipment! one of the better gyms i have seen in china...well i would have expected that since it's Marriott related. Breakfast is great! chinese breakfasts always good! in most chinese hotels you can order a noodle and just mix and match your own condiments like shredded pork/chicken, nuts, green onions, sour veggies, fatty pork etc one of my favourite is just to order a plain mian with soup and just throw everything what you like (custom made noodles) Staff can speak english so rest assured There is a rack of hanfu clothing which is for free (you can just borrow it for 1 day) and then return it...but since it was raining that day we did not bother with it...also some of the clothes look already worn (so if you're not sure you can just request the staff to wash it first and then use it the next day). After our experience with Xu Yan Chinese Banquet it gets a bit hot after a while so maybe a tip for the staff: Try to check up on the used Hanfu clothes...if something has been used it has to be washed. Free umbrellas also when it's raining outside so never worry about the rain!

view across the AC hotel is an abandoned building (which is planned to be renovated i know but still...look at an abandoned building doesn't make your morning happy) Maybe the price...AC Marriott is definitely not a cheap option but you can see it in their service and rooms. the rooms look really nice and yes there are better priced options but if you're a fan of Marriott hotels this will definitely live up to your standards.

The hotel staff was way unter my expectations for a hotel managed by such a big chain as Marriott! I booked a room for 3 ADULTS through Booking.com and when I arrived they told me they have no such room and max. Occupancy is 2 Adults. They basically forced me to book a second room for the additional person and offered me no other alternative, no compensation, no discount! I was so mad, but I believed naively that I could clear up the situation afterwards though booking.com customer service as I am on genius level 3. But apparently the Hotel never bothered to answer to customer service. The only compensation I got was 25€ from booking, which is ridiculous, considering our hotel-expenses were double what’s we planned four our stay! 😡 I wouldn’t book this hotel again and I‘ll try to avoid Marriott in future! It‘s not what it used to bed to be!

The hotel is located on a very busy street, full of restaurants and convenience stores and at walking distance to the metro station. The room was quite spacious and clean, the bathroom was modern, very bright and also clean, well equipped with all necessary amenities. The lady at the cafe in the morning was very kind and allowed us to take some food four our baby after checkout.

No crib was provided for our baby, despite our request made at the booking phase (we did not ask for it again in the hotel). We were initially assigned to a room with a very strong smell of cigarettes and we were moved immediately after our request to another room.

This hotel is in a prime location, where you can walk to tourist spots and business streets nearby. Excellent services(check-in and check-out, restaurant, daily room cleaning). As a newer hotel, facilities are still in great shape. Breakfast buffet offers both Chinese and western styles. Although the restaurant is not as big as some other similar hotels, its options are plenty and fresh. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to those who would like to explore old town area(Gusu).

I booked a suite room for 3 people. I payed for 3 people. When I arrived there were only 2 bed places. The staff was unable to find a solution like a camp bed or even a mattress on the floor... One of us had to sleep on a short, hard as a stone sofa… I don’t know if the problem is with the hotel or with booking.com as the suite is still available on booking.com for 3 people… if you are 3 people don’t book the suite.

Lit 3eme personne de mauvaise qualité. Gestion des paiements très mauvaise. Premier paiement wechat non reconnu alors que debité sur ma carte. Finalement retrocedé après 24h. Paiement final fait avec la carte et de nouveau réclamé par le personnel au check out. Bref laxiste.

Excellent breakfast, including western and Chinese style. Food items are fresh with good quality. This is a newly built hotel, around 3 years old. Although the room is not very large, the smart design makes us feel spacious enough. Staffs are professional and courteous.

The room temperature controlled by the AC system worked great. But the comforter is too thick. A lighter set of bedding would be better.

Hotel location is smack right in the middle of all the famous streets and close to Suzhou Museum. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is well maintained and clean. Breakfast was simple but the kitchen prepared the food well.

The pillows are too flat otherwise all is good.

My stay at the hotel was truly excellent. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is outstanding—just a few meters from metro stations, yet still within walking distance of the city’s main attractions.Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of both Western and Eastern dishes. The rooms are beautifully designed and incredibly cozy, with very comfortable beds. I also appreciated the hotel gym, which is well equipped—something that’s not always guaranteed in hotels in China. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

One minor inconvenience was the automatic toilet. It frequently opened unnecessarily—such as when I was simply walking past or washing my hands—and occasionally failed to respond when actually needed. The constant beeping was also a bit disruptive, as it sounded similar to the noise of someone opening the main door, which caused some confusion. Another issue that affected my stay and especially my sleep was the noise from neighboring guests. I'm not sure whether the walls are particularly thin or if the guests were just unusually loud, but it did disturb the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

Hotel location is strategic and not far from Ping Jiang road, easy to access with didi and walking distance to the Suzhou Golden Tower North Mall building. Room is clean and no smoking smell at all Easy to find restaurant nearby also (local food, convenience store & KFC opposite), staff is very helpful and fast check in process (can use Visa & Mastercard here) Upon our check out, we met a front line staff, Tony who is very helpful by loading our baggage’s to the van under hot sun, thumbs up for the team 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Highly recommended to any travellers comes in couple or family to check in this hotel when visiting to Suzhou⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
