There were lush plants in the back, and our suite was clean and comfortable….so the hotel was a pleasant surprise, although the setting was unexpected….on a residential street. Pizza downstairs was wood-fired, and we took it back to our room to enjoy in the dining area. Great stopover spot if you are coming in or out of Cabo airport.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026Well equipped units very near the airport. The suites are a good size and have everything you need for a short stay. Good aircon and lots of hot water.
Annoyingly the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and there’s not much else in the area. And for an airy hotel, starting breakfast at 8 seems very late. The bed was very small.

Not being from the area I was unaware that we would be kept awake by roosters roosting, all night long. Literally all night. If your used to those sounds you may not having a problem sleeping. I however did. The bed was comfortable, pillows were great. It was just the roosters.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026I loved the gardens with the Lemon trees, Papaya Trees, Rosemary, Aloe, and flowers. Surrounding area was not not so nice looking, but we felt safe. It was dirt roads up to the hotel which was kind of rough. It was close to the airport, though, which is what we were looking for. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. Food was delicious and plentiful and the coffee was really good! Service was exceptional and the hostess, waitress and cook were very friendly and helpful!
There were steps up to our room which was not too easy for an eighty plus man and a 70 year old lady, but the staff was very helpful and carried our luggage. Also the on site restaurant closed early, at 3 in the afternoon. We would like to have had it open later for dinner.

The bed was a little small, what we would call a 3/4 size in the US. And the doors between the living room and bedroom, and the bedroom and bathroom, squeaked loudly (something quite easily remedied.)

Reviewed Jan 3, 2026I was surprised by how large and well equipped the unit was. Really it's like a small modern apartment, with a kitchenette, coffee machine, all the necessities. There is a mini-mart downstairs and small restaurant for pizza, coffee, breakfast. I also saw a laundry room. Good A/C and very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom amenities. They stock the unit with a few carafes of filtered water and there is a dispenser in the lobby. It's in a residential area which I found pretty cool, by then I was used to the normal soundscape of dogs, roosters, and people living their lives. Maybe that's not for everyone, but for my last night in Baja it felt like a proper send-off. To access the rooms you go through a gate with a keypad and find yourself walking through a surprise lush garden oasis. The staff are so lovely! As are the ladies who make the delicious breakfasts and the man who preps the pizzas. It was a quick Uber from and to the airport.

Reviewed Dec 15, 2025Our flight out of Cabo was canceled. We got tired of waiting for the carrier to book us a room. A quick search found Suites Lomboy Plaza, which was a few minutes from the airport. The Lomboy is very nice. The rooms are spacious and clean. Included in the plaza is a small grocery store and restaurant. The food was good, and the grocery store is well-stocked. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had reserved a taxi for our morning departure, but it never showed up. The gentleman at the front desk took us to the airport. Wow!

Reviewed Feb 20, 2025Ignore the ride to the castle, no pretty. The castle is quite remarkable. An amazing array of stone walls, walkways, gardens and assorted eye candy. The rion was large and clean with a balcony by the unheated yet lovely pool. The place is just a masterwork of someone's passion. The Italian restaurant was very good as well with two to three people serving you constantly.

Reviewed Oct 13, 2024We had a wonderful stay. Wanted a hotel closer to the airport as we have been in Cabo for vacation and had a 6 AM flight. 45 minute or more commute to air port. Room was very spacious and clean as we had five travelers. Mitzi at the front desk was so kind. She even arranged air port transport for 4:30 am.

The complimentary breakfast was excellent and made to order (from a selection of choices). The hotel is located in a residential area and involves a block or two on dirt road before arriving. GPS was handy to know we were going to the right place. Very good value for the stay.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2024Lovely staff. Checked in with our small dog, and moments after arriving in the room staff appeared with a dog dish and blanket, unasked. Then just moments later, a housekeeper arrived with two sets of ear plugs (neighborhood has dogs, roosters, and is moments from the airport). All in all a great experience, and well worth the rates!

Reviewed May 6, 2024The apartment was amazing. Very clean and comfortable with a full kitchen that I didn’t use as I was only staying overnight. The owner is beautiful and so helpful. She spoke English though most other staff members had no English. It was close to the airport and they arranged for me to be taken there by one of the staff who was friendly and helpful. The pizza from the restaurant downstairs was one of the best I’ve had. Homemade breakfast was yummy. There is a laundromat underneath which is relatively cheap.
The location was a little surprising in sandy streets of a Mexican township. There are no other eating places within walking distance so I had to eat at the pizza restaurant underneath which thankfully was delicious. I went for a walk for about an hour and it was great to see a bit of authentic Mexico after being in a resort. The owner assured me it was safe to walk around.
