What I loved most about the property was its peaceful atmosphere and stunning panoramic views. It felt like a private retreat where you could truly relax and unwind. It was beautiful on the inside and had an amazing view of Montego Bay.

The view was excellent but the service was none existent. no clean sheets or towels no cleaning liquid for bathroom or kitchen 🤔. The host came once became I requested clean sheets and towels I was very disappointed with the owner and service.

Young Lady who was property manager was very pleasant and accomodating!

The check in time listed was not accurate as well as some of the amenities. Made for miscommunication and time delays.

Will never EVER CONSIDER staying here again and I will never advise family or friends to come to this property. Poor communication, no cable no pool no remote for the TV. The television that they did have was broken doors open and shut all night by themselves or the wind. If you let them tell it you have to bring your own tissue. You have to bring your own Wi-Fi for Internet fire stick you had to bring your own trash bags, Netflix it was not up to par for anything other than having a roof over your head. They lie about having a swimming pool for the kids a lot about having premium cable channels. You only have Wi-Fi every other day if you’re lucky , it was a horrible experience. That is all I have to say anytime you needed something she would say I’ll have to tell the boss but will never get back with you with a response or a solution so pretty much you were on your own and I wasn’t able to get in the house until after 6 PM and check in time was at three

We arrived and there was no water, seems the staff didn't went and pre check prior to us arriving, sheets were very dusty,there were dead bugs on the beds, dishes in the kitchen had cob webs,place had a little funk,like it wasn't aired, and knowing the fact that we had no water for 24 ¹hours,we were offered no form of compensation and the host didn't call to check on,how we were making out, someone came to check on the pipes and we were surprised to the visit,no heads up to say someone was coming,communication is very poor,and the place is a bit aged,needs some repairs all over,the mats in the bathrooms are horrible, even the cushions in the couches are extremely dirty and needs washing, some strong cleaning is needed ,I definitely wouldn't recommend ,staff didn't seem to have much knowledge of the place because every question that was asked the answer was I don't know,we had to figure on our own, very unpleasant ,even the iron is black and needs to be cleaned or changed

The view was great and didnt have to worry about ac going off in middle of my sleep⁷

Wifi was a bit difficult no washer or dryer and a bigger pot foe cooking 637-5836

The host provided us with some local fruits for a complementary breakfast and they were delicious. the location of the house, the view etc.

The house is in a good condition and the location is good as well. So We enjoyed it. Unfortunately on the first day the gas Stove did not light up, Very next day the host sent a handyman to fix it. That is the only problem we had. Otherwise all went good. Please note the road to the property from the main road is not paved / not an asphalt / with lot of bumps . Have to be careful when driving especially in the dark ( narrow road) without proper street lights. Need to have proper cars with good tires.

It was off the beaten path. Great place to meditate or for a retreat.

I had a crawling visitor and it unsettling because I'm afraid of lizards.

The house didn't have AC and the TV didn't work it didn't have a coffee maker one of the kitchen chairs was broken didn't know it when to seat down in it fell my ass on the floor and told the host MJ about she didn't call me back to see if I was OK she suck as a host the place was not as they described it I had to walk down the mountain to get a ride cause cabs didn't go up there have to get a rental car for I can get around this place was horrible never stayed there again

We had a wonderful stay !!! book this place ! -A LOT of space (we were 4) -beautiful outside space with hammock -amazing view -quiet and safe location -very cheap price for the great quality -nice breakfast items (eggs, milk, oat…) were given to us

-We found mouse poop (but it happens, it’s not a big deal at all) -you need a car to get there -the owners are austalians (we would had prefer to book from locals) -the AC was broken in two rooms but the reponsable found a solution that made us happy

As soon as we arrived, we felt at home. The cottage we stayed in had everything we needed and the hosts were veey easy to communicate with. The view at the lodge is wonderful. We were happy to just sit on the porch and spend time there. The property also has so many different fruit trees around. It wasn't quite the season for most when we we were there (end April), but we did get to try a papaya that was just about to reach it's peak. The lodge also provided eggs, milk, bread and oats, which was a nice plus. We were also located pretty close to 2 beautiful local beaches. Will definitely consider returning when I am in Mobay next.

As mentioned in the description, the road isn't ideal to travel, but it's well worth it as long as you don't need to be going up and down the hill multiple times a day. We also ran out of water on our second night there. MJ and Richard did their best to make sure we were ok, but we did need to wait until the next day to have water again.

The location scenery, accommodation and the quietness, hospitality is great.

Wonderful & spacey place with a magnificent view over the ocean! It's sited high up on the hill, so you can enjoy the soft breeze from the sea which felt so refreshing and comfortable at night. The interior is all functional and in great condition. The surroundings are very peaceful and calm, so you have to go a bit down the hill if you need anything, but this means that you really can relax and enjoy the quiet. Outside there's a nice green yard where you can sit and chill. The hosts are also great and really did their best to help us enjoy our time!

Pleasant views from this remote location in the hills. Good air conditioning in the bedroom. Excellent shower, plenty of hot water but tap dripping continuously. Bread, eggs, milk in fridge for breakfast.

Only access to the property was via a severely potholed road. Electric security gates were inoperative and could not be locked. Property was therefore insecure. The property is a converted garage and felt like one, despite having a verandah added to give an appearance of rustic charm. The windows (wooden louvres, no glass) could not be locked and it was possible to open them from outside - insecure. Steel security bars on the inside of the windows added to the feeling of insecurity. One burner of the gas hob was crudely taped over with duct tape; the oven should clearly have been repaired instead. Safety issue. Kettle had been used for making tea and was full of decomposing leaves. Should have been picked up on inspection and cleaned. Bed was unacceptably tiny. US and UK double beds are 4’ 6” wide. European double beds are 4’ 7” wide. The bed at Sunshine Lodge was 4’ 0” wide!!! Not suitable for 2 adults!! Unable to get TV to work despite our own experience with the same FLOW TV in our own property in Manchester, Jamaica. Calls to owner and owners’ agent at 9:00 PM went straight to voicemail and were left unanswered. Unable to contact owners until we were leaving the following day.

Quite, clean, overlook the ocean

It was quiet. The host was very hospitable. The view was great. The location was very convenient, there is a restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy and gas station very close. All in all it was really home away from home.

What breakfast? There was eggs and bread I was unaware that breakfast came as part of the package. But it’s all good, everything else about the property made up for it.

Can improve on the Wi-Fi service Pots are aluminum. No corkscrew

I loved the view, the house is beautiful.

The gate didn’t work, dogs kept coming in and pull the trash all over the grounds, a few lights didn’t work and there weren’t enough things in the kitchen we needed to use. kitchen needs equipment, bigger glasses, pots etc

The property is very big and quite. You have a bungalow for you, with your kitchen, living room…even the manager left us some complimentary food for breakfast! The bungalow has an amazing terrace to enjoy the views

The sunday in the morning they were doing the gardening very early in the morning. About 7 am

The Location was absolutely beautiful once we got there. We loved how the house felt like a little cottage and our host was responsive and welcoming both over the phone and in person.

Had a little visitor in the form of a lizard in our room but my partner sorted it.
