Reviewed Aug 28, 2026The okami-san was very kind and helpful. She drove me to a nearby attraction so I wouldn't have to pay for a taxi. The ryokan had a big soaking tub, which was great at the end of long days walking around. Guest amenities were provided in several areas of the ryokan and the place stayed very quiet and peaceful.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026We loved how clean the accommodation was and how the host was so attentive and hospitable to us throughout our stay - she even gave us sliced melons on our last day which was a pleasant surprise! There was also complimentary iced tea on the second floor which we made use of daily, and the free parking lot was also a bonus as we were on a road-trip. Everything else was as described on their listing.

The free bicycle we borrowed from the hotel had a flat tire at Tomita farm. She drove there with a new replacement bicycle while we were sightseeing. She was very considerate.

自分の部屋だけかもしれないが、寝具の清潔感が悪かった。 まあ、お婆ちゃんが１人で案内していたのでこんなもんかなと。少し値段が高いと感じた。

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026I absolutely LOVED this place -- right in the heart of the beautiful town of Furano. The rooms are cozy and efficient -- and it was great to meet fellow like-minded travelers and share information about all the fun things to do in the area. But the true highlight was the owner -- a tremendously kind-hearted and helpful woman who took genuine pride in helping her guests have a tremendous stay. Nothing fancy here -- but a terrific place to stay in one of Hokkaido's most beautiful areas!

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026富良野の登山目的で利用しました。 部屋はコンパクトでしたが、清潔で居心地良かったです。徒歩圏内に飲食店やコンビニがあり、便利。富良野マルシェにも近く絶妙な立地が素晴らしかったです。かつ、登山口からも近くうってつけな場所でした。登山履が濡れて帰って来た時も、新聞紙いただいたりと、優しく対応して下さりました。 早朝出発に見送りもして下さりと、心温まる宿でした。

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026For anyone who wants to experience staying in a traditional Ryokan at least once during a trip to Japan, this is an excellent choice. We received a very warm welcome, the rooms are comfortable, and the lovely hostess genuinely makes sure you enjoy your stay. I sincerely hope that when I reach her age, I still have as much energy and positivity as she does. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
This is not a luxury-style accommodation, but that is also part of its charm. All the necessary facilities are available, and if you appreciate a more traditional Japanese experience, this is a lovely place to stay.

ไม่มีเลยครับ ที่พักดีมาก ๆ คุณป้าอัธยาศัยดีเยี่ยม น่ารัก ที่สุดตรงที่ถามผมว่าวันนี้จะกลับเวลาไหน ผมบอกคุณป้าไปว่าประมาณ 20:00 น ของเดือนธันวาคม 2025 พอกลับมาไขกุญแจเปิดห้อง จากที่หนาวเหน็บมาก กลับกลายเป็นได้รับความอบอุ่นทันที เพราะคุณป้าได้เปิดเครื่องฮีตเตอร์รอไว้ให้ ประทับใจมากจริง ๆ ที่สำคัญใส่ใจดูแลผมเป็นอย่างดีเสมือนลูกชายเลย ผมรักญี่ปุ่นครับ

She helped organise our luggage return to Tokyo. The rooms were nice and warm after a day of skiing. The beds are super comfy. Will look at staying again. Shared facilities but never had to wait. The hot tub is perfect for aching muscles. Plenty of eateries and shops around.

Les parties communes sont pratiques, complètes et propres. En étant plus près du centre ville on bénéficie des konbini et restaurants en étant plus au calme que plus proche de la station de ski.

We stayed for two months, and it was a blessing to come home to see their smiling faces everyday. When I lost my phone, she personally drove me to the bus station to pick it up and helped me translate everything. The space was clean and quite large!! Each room has a mini living room space with a TV, desk, and mini fridge and we had all we needed. The onsen in the bathroom was the cherry on top.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026Upon travelling to Furano and arriving later than scheduled, I unsuccessfully tried to take my snowboard bag up to my room to unpack. The communication barrier was not suitably bridged in trying to verbalise what the issue at hand was and how to suitably rectify. As an adventurer who goes snowboarding around the world, I wholly appreciate the traditional rules of Japanese accommodation, however not being able to take your one fully packed bag inside, to unpack clothes and other related items, voids the accord of the booked accommodation. Unpacking the bag outside in the -9 conditions was deemed unsuitable and alternate accommodations were organised. The stay was unfulfilled and unrefunded. The key was returned within 25mins of arriving. If you travel with just a well packed snowboard bag, I do not recommend staying at this booking.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026What a beautiful stay! The house is cozy, the bedding is warm and comfortable. There is tea and coffee. The shower is warm and washing machine available. Close walk to town with shuttle buses to skiing close by. The best is the host! The most kind woman and so very sweet and thoughtful. She even gave me a ride to my airport bus on my last day.

She drove us to our ski rental place on the first day and even offered to drive us to the base of the mountain. She also drove us to the train station on our last day despite heavy snow. She turned the heater on in our room before we returned in the afternoon and there was always boiling water waiting for my coffee in the morning. We had our own fridge and the beds were super comfy. Great size room. Never had to wait for a bath or a shower.

Reviewed Oct 24, 2025The fact that they have hot water 24 hours a day, which you can dip in any time. So long as it's free from other customers. The bicycles are free for guests to use, and just a couple of streets from the property is a very nice hill that one could cycle safely and enjoy a great view. The attached picture was taken on the 20th October 2025, just when the leaves are changing their colours.
The heater. I'm not used to the gas heater. Luckily, just opening the window solved the issue.
