Colazione abbondante e cena all'aperto.
everything was absolutely perfect !!!!!! we decide to celebrate our wedding over there and wow, best decision ever !!!!!! the staff was sooooo nice, mustapha play with our childs, everyone put so many efforts for make the best day ever for us !!! thank you so much for everything we will remember this day for the rest of our life !!! best camp and staff ever !!!!!!!
absolutly nothing !!!
Staff was absolutely fantastic! Had an amazing experience. We were sent the exact location to park our car and we took the sunset camel ride to the camp. All instructions were sent in advance so I knew what to expect. We met some amazing people who were also staying there which added to the experience. The food was incredible and was plentiful. It was served family style per each table and was basically a 4 course meal including bread, olives, soup, 2 different Tagines, chicken with potatoes and vegetables, and a plate of fruit for desert. Breakfast was included and dinner was an additional €15 per person per night. We were able to pay it in Dirhams at the end of the trip. On the way back we went by 4x4 car and we were able to pick the time we were leaving since we had a long drive ahead of us. The tents were a lot bigger than I thought and the bathroom was impressive for being in the desert. Being able to see all the stars at night and waking up early in the morning for thr sunrise is an absolute must!
This is no fault on the staff, I just wish I knew that the tents were way too hot during the day and you absolutely have to have some sort of excursion planned for most of the day or else you're going to roast inside the room or outside under the sun. I visited at the end of May and it was about 96° during the day and cooled down to 70° at night. The staff did warn us about this so we ended up booking an excursion to see the Berber village, lake, and mine.
Great staff, they fullfilled every request. Even organised a suprise cake and celebration for my daughter birthday. Beautiful location and very comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend.
The scenery of the Sahara is spectacular. Staff were very nice and accommodating, food was great.
Not exactly luxury but definitely upscale camping.
The camp was amazing! We were really looking forward to camping in the Sahara and chose Sirocco based on reviews and I'm so happy we did. The staff are very kind and helpful. The dinner was excellent with so many different courses. They played traditional music by the campfire for us at night which was lovely. The glamping tents were so pretty, clean and comfortable. They were very quiet in the night so we got a great night's sleep. Each room had a private bathroom as well. We took the camels there which was a lot of fun and our camel guide took good care to make sure we were safe and comfortable. The views of the Sahara are stunning and its remote enough that you can really see the stars in the sky. Highly recommend staying here!
Nothing! Everything was fantastic
Nota 10
Those guys do their utmost to make sure that the stay is comfortable and pleasant. It must cost a lot of extra energy to make a hotel feeling in the desert, but it is all very relaxed.
Despite the fact you are in the desert, there are so many people with cars and buggy’s and quads around that it spoils the feeling of being in the desert. When we were here there was almost full moon so the sky of stars was a little bit too light to see all the many stars and Milky Ways…
Struttura veramente bellissima!!!!
Tutto ok
Wij hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en wil overal mee helpen. Eten was heerlijk! Locatie was sprookjesachtig mooi. Een ervaring om niet te vergeten.
Awesome Team, excellent food in vast amounts, super attentive staff. Easy arrangement of transport. Staff treats you more like a friend then a guest. Would definitely book with them again!
New Camp under construction next to this one, so noosy excavator at Work during the day; Not the camp's fault but disrupted the calm quite a bit.
Mustafa and all other staff was exceptional friendly and provided everything we wanted. They welcomed us in the village and took us to the camp by cars. Next day they arranged tour by 4x4 cars and quad biking. Every night berber music and dance was organized around the fire. Last day they arranged camel ride back to the village. Everything was perfectly organized. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in the camp. Rooms were clean and well maintained.
Rooms could be more spacious for family of 4 people. There was a little space to move. restaurant food could be more variable.
Nulla
Mustangs and the team were exceptionally accommodating and friendly. We had the camp to ourselves and it was lovely. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the music in the evening. The breakfast eggs were delicious!
Dinner was ok.
Ci siamo trovati benissimo con Mustafa
The staff at the camp were incredibly attentive and especially Mustafa. Mustafa went out of his way to help us when we needed something and was a great guide on the adventure. We miss we miss him so much. The food was amazing. The tents were super clean with a private bathroom. The the camp is small enough so it doesn't feel overwhelming with guests Would absolutely recommend this place
Nice and young team, full of energy and enthusiasm, they gave their best during the campfire small concert of traditional music, even though we were the only customer in early February.
I was disappointed because the pictures don't reflect the reality of the camp: it is not in the middle of the sand dunes, but at the limit of the dunes in the plain, among a series of dozens of other camps, alongside each other. During the peak season, it must be crowded and noisy ! This camp is not the most luxurious one, by far, the tent are smaller and simpler than other ones. The location is not bad per se, in front of dunes, but when we arrive, the team was chilling on the sofas in the sand, and we had to walk to another camp table to have the sunset view. We can see the concrete used to solidify the foundations of the camps here and there. In few years, this place is going to be spoiled with garbage. The food of the camp is more than basic (bad). We wanted a "luxury" sunset experience as in pics, with a drink in front of the sun. They didn't have alcohol: "we are a camp, not a bar", was the answer. Finally, they went back to the nearby town and bought beers and wine. Last thing: in January-February, it is freezing cold, but no heating in the tents. We slepts with our cloths on and didn't take a shower in the morning. Be aware: the ride on camels which is systematically proposed costs 25 euros per person, it is not included in the room price.
Everything
Staff were super helpful and communicated well in advance of our arrival. All my questions were addressed quickly, and they were generally flexible with our requests. They also accommodated a custom vegetarian meal one day, to give us something more nutritionally balanced than the first night for our 8yr old. Also, I was sick one day and wanted to take a hot shower. The hot water wasn't working, so the staff boiled water and brought it to our tent, which was very nice of them. My wife and kid are not used to camping, so this was overall a good "glamping" experience and they were happy. The available boards for sandboarding were worn out, but the staff were able to obtain another one in better condition when we asked. For children: the camel ride at sunset and the music/drums at night around the fire were the best parts.
I wish the hot water worked, but I'm satisfied that they made an honest effort to fix it and address it as described above. Meals were about average for what we had in Morocco overall, but this is a desert camp, so I don't expect much.
Rien
The location
THEY DON'T HAVE HEATING IN THE TENTS AND IT'S WINTER!!! temperatures drop to 0C. The advertising of this place should state very clearly heating is not provided. After one HORRIBLE night, my wife caught a cold and we decided to leave. The owner refused to refund any of our money. A totally horrible experience and I warn people to stay away of this place during winter because it's dangerous to your health. The staff was friendly up to the point when we decided to leave. Then they showed us their true colors.
lovely staff with great entertainment! enjoyed singing, riddles and jokes fireside after a great meal. tent had everything we needed
nothing
The staff is very kind and communication is great. We had the best food of our entire Morocco stay. The property offered a safe place to store our bikes and arranged a memorable 4x4 ride through the desert to get to camp. The night sky was incredible, among the best I've ever experience and sunrise was also special and very quiet. The room is comfortable and clean, blankets are warm enough for a winter stay and the tent has hot water!
There are so many scams in the area, but, luckily, Sirocco Luxury Camp turned out to be an honest establishment. The tents are amazing for the location. I also recommend taking the camel ride to the camp - it was definitely a highlight. Most importantly, the people we met in the camp and the moments we spent together turned out to be one of the best memories of our trip to Morocco.
There is no need to stay for two nights apart from the case when the weather betrays you for the first night (which is quite rare in Morocco). Also - make sure to prepare for the cold if you are coming during winter!
Everything was good. The staff was very nice, I loved discussing with them. The place and the location were very pretty. We did one way by camel and the other way by car. We also did with them a daily excursion. At night, they do a fire and sing berbère songs.
Very nice! For this price you can really not expect more. It is touristy yes, but this price is unbeatable for one night :-)
Small camp, open communication. 25eur per person for camel ride and return transfer by car. Very tasty breakfast and good dinner. Overall recommended.
Staff molto simpatico e disponibile, colazione e cena veramente molto buone atmosfera suggestiva, tenda molto comoda e pulita, il falò serale pure quello davvero bello, meravigliosa esperienza, consigliatissimo
Stunning place and location. Everything super clean! Memorable experience. Super comfortable beds Super stuff!
Maybe a electric plug in the room would be useful, but we are in a camp in the end.
We enjoyed the music and appreciated the effort the team put into making our stay pleasant. The property’s secluded location allowed us to see the stars clearly at night. We had booked dinner for two, but when my partner felt unwell, we asked to cancel. Youssef, the team member we were in contact with, kindly agreed to charge only for one meal (€15). Breakfast was fine, though as a vegan, I could only have msemen, since the rest included eggs and pastries, despite informing the staff about my dietary restrictions at booking. The staff did their best to accommodate us, singing songs, and making sure we felt welcome. After booking, we were informed of a €60 round-trip transfer from the parking area or a €25 per person camel ride (1.5 hours). We chose the 4x4 option, as we didn’t want to support animal use. Appreciate that the camp was honest and sent us this info after booking instead of telling us upon arrival as done by some other camps.
We attempted sandboarding, but the equipment was old and unusable, other guests faced the same issue. The Wi-Fi was weak and mostly unusable but given that it is a remote location in the desert, it is understandable.
Mooie ligging Vriendelijk personeel Nette tenten Warme douche
Aanrader in Mergouza.
Niks
Ons verblijf was echt geweldig!
Great location, amazing people, good communication with the host and flawless room. It was possible to have for an additional cost of 40€ each the following activities: the arrival at the camp with camels, a very good traditional dinner under the stars, Berber music show by the fire and return to the parking on a 4x4 (crossing the desert dunes). An important aspect I would like to mention is that beside the fact that we were the only couple at the camp that night, the host did not cancel the reservation and did all he could to make the stay memorable
Nothing, everything was great. Only “sad” thing was being unable to see the sunrise due to clouds but it is not certainly a problem the property could fix.
Alles was goed!

Ths staff is really friendly, advices us on everything and is honest! The tents are clean and of good quality. Good dinner and transport.
We had to pay for cold water. Which is okay but wasn't communicated before. The camel ride was 25 euros, which we also didnt know. Communication about prices is the only thing that lacked. We would not have made any different choices.
Though this is obviously a very tourist experience, we did not feel like we were jammed, too close to other camps and really appreciated all the care and attention made to create this beautiful camp experience. We only stayed for one night and that is what I would advise. I’m not sure what you would do for most of the day and it can be pretty hot during the day. Arriving in the early evening and leaving in the am was perfect.
I think that in terms of the music around the campfire, maybe just one or two songs would be enough, it went on a little long. Just being in silence and looking at stars would be more desirable.
The camp is located right next to the dunes, offering an absolutely stunning and unforgettable setting. The surrounding desert landscape is breathtaking, and the contrast with nearby regions is truly remarkable. Getting There The camp can be reached either by camel ride or by 4x4 vehicle. Note: a regular (non-4x4) vehicle will not be able to access the site. Camel Ride: A unique experience that is definitely worth trying at least once. It takes about an hour, and while it is a special way to arrive, it may not be suitable for elderly visitors or anyone with back or hip issues. 4x4 Transport: A comfortable and thrilling ride through the dunes. The vehicle moves smoothly but quickly, going up and down the sand dunes at high speeds. The experience feels very much like a desert roller coaster and is an exciting way to begin or end your stay. Camp Comfort and Facilities Private tents with en-suite bathrooms and showers Working toilets and clean facilities Free and safe parking at the meeting point In-tent Wi-Fi Sandboards available for use in the dunes Evening campfire (weather permitting) Decent breakfast and a tasty dinner (available at €15 per adult and €10 per child) You can also sleep outside under the stars on comfortable lounge couches. It gets windy at night, so a hoodie is recommended, but the warm desert air and heat radiating from the sand make it a peaceful and memorable experience. Activities and Entertainment Morning and Evening Schedule: You will typically be at the camp in the early morning until around 8 or 9 AM, and again from around 6 PM onward. Between those times, it gets too hot to remain at the camp, as the desert heat becomes intense.
We didn’t particularly enjoy the smell of the incense stick in the tent, so we chose to turn it off. On the last night, the tent had a slight musty smell, possibly from water damage or dampness. It was noticeable but still bearable. While the wind at night helps keep flies away, in the mornings there were usually one or two flies buzzing around. They were very fast and hard to swat, but this seems to be a common issue in any desert camp rather than a problem specific to this camp.
Yousuff was extremely kind, he made sure that everything was perfect for us. He arranged everything: from the camel ride at the sunset to the private excursion with a local guide. Dinner and breakfast were very good too!
This is a very nice camp in the desert with a great service. We had a great time. However, be aware when booking a tent in Erg Chebbi. There are many scam offers around. Always double check on google maps or social media whether the place is real. This one is legit!
Very good food, and friendly staff. Definitely would recommend!
Unique place in the middle of the desert with lovely berber people for a unique experience. Thanks to everyone in the camp for the stay!

We had a great time with Youssef and the team. They were very welcoming, and we felt very comfortable throughout our entire stay. The bonfire at night and the live music were definitely the highlights for us.
We .had an absolutely unforgettable experience at Sirroco. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm and genuine hospitality that made us feel at home in the heart of the desert. The hosts are incredibly attentive to every guest's needs, always smiling and ready to help or share fascinating stories about Berber culture. One aspect that truly impressed us was their dedication to entertaining their guests. From camel rides at sunset to campfires accompanied by traditional music, every moment spent here was magical. We especially enjoyed the drumming sessions under the starry sky and the energetic dances that made us feel part of a unique world. The food was simply delicious! Every meal was a true celebration of Moroccan flavors, with perfectly cooked tagine, richly spiced couscous, and sweet desserts that delighted our taste buds. The chefs are exceptionally talented, and each dish was prepared with great care and passion. If you're looking for an authentic desert experience in Morocco, Sirroco Tent is the perfect choice! The welcoming atmosphere, attention to detail, and the hosts' passion for creating unforgettable moments make this place a true oasis of joy. We will definitely be coming back!
Everything was nice, confortable, and calm. Plenty of blankets for February. Nice spots to relax. The food was some of the best we had in Morocco and portions were well sized. Mustafa made sure we had what we need and Youssef was easy to communicate with. Had a great campfire night. They have a good spot in the dunes as well. Would recommend.
