Reviewed Sep 5, 2026A melhor vista sobre Burgau. Algumas reviews parecem estar desatualizadas, porque, apesar de a mobília ser antiga, tanto a casa de banho como a cozinha são novas e modernas. A cozinha está totalmente equipada, com todos os eletrodomésticos e utensílios necessários para preparar qualquer refeição. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelo Miguel, que se mostrou sempre disponível e pronto a ajudar com tudo o que precisámos durante a estadia.

Apartamento no geral confortável e com tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia com crianças. Anfitrião 5 estrelas!

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Die Lage, das Meer, die Aussicht. Es hat eine gute Substanz, mit ein paar Renovierungen, neuen Matratzen und etwas mehr Sauberkeit wäre ich voll zufrieden gewesen.
Durchgelegene, alte Matratzen. Stromkabel an Lampen, wo das Kabel sichtbar war und es gefunkt hat. Boden nicht sauber, Haare auf dem Sofa.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026Lo mejor de todo con diferencia es la ubicación y las vistas tan maravillosas del mar desde la terraza. También tuvimos la posibilidad de acceder al apartamento antes de la hora prevista para el check in
Los grifos dejan mucho que desear, sobre todo la ducha, salía solo un chorrito pequeño de agua. Posiblemente estén sólo obstruidos, pero necesitan un arreglo. Me extrañó que no había lavadora. Yo no la necesité pero para una estancia más larga creo que es imprescindible. El papel higiénico muy escaso, tuvimos que comprar. El menaje también muy escaso, por ejemplo, sólo había una copa de vino…. Creo que un poco caro para lo que ofrecen….

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026tutto ottimo , gli ampi spazi a disposizione , la piscina , la possibilità di parcheggiare in un paesino di mare con parcheggi limitati , la posizione panoramica ,due camere con bagno in camera e la terza con bagno adiacente piu un altro bagno al piano inferiore dove si trova una ampia cucina arredata a tre pareti e la grande sala da pranzo con balcone con anche due divani di cui uno con letto matrimoniale , tutti i 4 bagni hanno la doccia , ll vano lavanderia , l'armadio a muro al piano inferiore con cassaforte murata , mai capitato un superamento delle aspettative come questo

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026The views of the beach and village were really lovely. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings, watching the sun set over the bay. At night, we left the bedroom window open so we could fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, which was very relaxing. The apartment is ideally located, just a short walk from the centre of the village, with a great selection of restaurants, a few cosy bars, and easy access to the beach. There were also several well-stocked supermarkets nearby. A scenic cliff walk begins almost right outside the apartment door. The apartment itself was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and a perfect base for exploring the area. We will return and that says it all really.
The couch in the main room had a slightly stale smell—I'm not sure what it was, perhaps just age-related. It didn't bother me much (I just didn't sit on it!), and my husband didn't notice the smell. Other than that, we had no complaints. As the apartment is so close to the village centre, the sounds of bar life—music and people chatting—would occasionally drift up in the evenings. However, it all felt very relaxed, cheerful, and part of the atmosphere rather than a nuisance. Overall, Burgau is incredibly laid-back, family-friendly, and welcoming. We didn't witness any bad behaviour or rowdy crowds during our stay.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Very spacious apartment , handsomely fitted out . everything needed for dining in too. funrniture traditonal , but it works (perphaps on-line photos don't do it justice.) really handy to have the O Navagidor Bar so close, and right next to the excellent pool. Miguel and Zizinthi always accessible and friendly. And of course the best possible view of the bay and village below.
well, it is right at the top of the hill - but the trade off is the wonderful view and the ease of parking.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026La vue est superbe, l’emplacement idéal et la piscine est un plus. L’appartement est très confortable et on y trouve tous les équipements nécessaires pour rester quelques jours.
Le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de clim car la nuit les murs libèrent vraiment la chaleur emmagasinée pendant la journée, même s’il fait frais dehors.

The apartments are decorated in traditional style so can appear dated but we found everything very clean and working well. We stayed in an apartment for 2 people and there was plenty of space. The pool area is great. Best spot in to relax with a glass of wine at sunset. Thanks to Miguel for the great energy and warm welcome.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and in a nice location above the beach giving a great view. The trail to Luz is right there too! I would recommend the Apartamentos Os Descobrimentos and would stay there again.

On peut tout faire à pied, 3 petits supermarchés sur place et restaurants. Nous sommes arrivés 2 heures avant, mais avons pu nous installer. Le village est sympa.

Reviewed May 18, 2026I spent a truly beautiful and relaxing time in Burgau. The one-bedroom apartment was cozy, very clean, and well equipped — I felt comfortable there from the very first day. The breathtaking view of the ocean, cliffs, and beach was definitely the highlight and created a wonderful atmosphere every morning and evening. The owner was extremely kind, helpful, and always available when needed. The only downside was the weather — for May, it was quite chilly at times, and the strong cold wind occasionally made it harder to fully enjoy the outdoors. Despite that, I came back with wonderful memories and a real sense of peace from this stay.

Comfortable bed, good shower, and ample kitchen equipment to self cater (there are lots of dinjng out options in Burgau as well). Good pool, although the water was a bit ofcold at this time of year. Good number of sunbeds. Apartments are right by the Fisherman's Path, with an easy walk to Luz about 1hr 5mins away. Will certainly return to this accommodation if we visit this area again.

De zon komt pas in de loop van de middag in het appartement, maar daar staat tegenover dat je s’avonds nog heel lang zon hebt op het balkon.De inrichting oogt in eerste instantie wat oudbollig, maar past heel goed bij het gebouw. Ook heel prettig dat het appartement halverwege ons verblijf nog een keer schoongemaakt werd. De eigenaar/beheerder is heel attent.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026Самое первое, про что хочется сказать - вид! Он шикарен. Океан во всей красе прямо под балконом, шум волн, огромные радуги во все небо! Сама кравтира - чистая, большая. На кухне есть все необходимое для готовки, в комнатах - удобные кровати. Много места, чтоб разложить вещи. Парковка прямо под дверью; всегда было место, где оставить машину.
Были зимой, потому было холодновато в зале. В спальных комнатах и в ванной были обогреватели, которые отлично отапливали помещение. Решение нашлось - большой запас одеял в шкафах - спасибо хозяевам )

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026Gigantische Lage mit Blick über Burgau. Im Dezember war der überdachte Balkon mit Sonne am Nachmittag perfekt. Super saubere Wohnung, die etwas ältere Ausstattung ist sehr gepflegt (Nr.34). Die Elektroheizungen haben die Wohnung warm gehalten.

Einchecken hat perfekt geklappt. Es war unser zweiter Aufenthalt in dieser Anlage, aber garantiert nicht unser letzter.

Nur eine Kleinigkeit, für eine Wohnung mit 3 Schlafzimmern könnte die Küche besser ausgestattet sein. Größere Pfannen und Kochgeschirr waren nur sparsam vorhanden.
